I was a beard for 2 gay men in my 20s. I’m almost 60 now.I miss the 1st one soooo much! I wish we could’ve stayed friends after he officially came out and started living his life as a gay man.I wouldn’t have encroached on his gay relationships.I’m still sad he left and moved on without me.I hope he’s still alive and well in 2023.

Fellow Travelers is such a unique and heartbreaking series. Hank and Skippy's love was so crazy over 30 years it was just so sad. The same people who kicked homosexuals out of the government during the 1950s were, in fact, gay themselves. I mean, I had to look up the lavender scare, and it was a real thing. I learned so much from watching this. Matt and Jonathan were freaking amazing. I hope they get every award this season.
_The Lavender Scare_ is the first documentary film to tell the little-known story of an unrelenting campaign by the federal government to identify and fire all employees suspected of being homosexual. I've seen it twice. The film can be streamed on their website.
HBO had did a special about twenty ago called Gays in Politics in which they had done a documentary on homesexuality in politics and had on a few prominent gay politicians and even gay news anchormen

Okay let’s stop with talking mostly about the sex scenes, the show is so much more than that. It tells a beautiful story and was written with careful details that portray all the emotions that come with being in love. I’m tired of the interviewers being stuck on the sex scenes.
Drew literally did emphasis how much of a beautiful love story it is? She did not just focus on the sex scenes. But of course she had to mention it because it's a big part of the show, and sex is a big part of relationships in general. So to NOT mention it would be weirder.
The show is trying to be a serious drama and a soft core porno at the same time. It's tough to pull off both at the same time. It doesn't always work but it's definitely compelling TV.
