I've heard your pretty voice so many times through the years and enjoyed your wonderful videos this was perfect for my current project . But most of all I enjoyed seeing your lovely smile for the first time to go with your voice! Can't tell you just how wonderful this episode is and how clear. Thank you so much.
Hey there, I ❤ this video. Thank you. Can you PLEASE do a video about comparing different finishing technics in 1 video? Like how do you finish beaded bracelets/necklaces and pendants that it looks professional and is strong? I've been beading for years now. I've been making some pretty stuff colourwise, but I can't figure out if my pieces are strong enough to sell. Don't want them to fall apart on the customers 😓. After all this time I still feel like a beginner because of not being able to finish pieces nicely. In the mean time, I'll be looking other videos on this channel. But it would be nice to have a comparison of all technics avaiable in 1 video on this. It would help me a lot.
WOW! What a question! 😃 There are so many styles of beading, so many variations in clasps and so many techniques, it would be impossible to put them all in one video! I recommend you check out our Better Beaders series and choose the ones specifically covering these techniques, like the one we just did on bails. Also there are many findings to choose from when finishing your projects: wire guardians, jump rings, crimp beads Vs crimp tubes, crimp covers, clasps, French wire, etc. They vary according to the style of your project and your personal preference. Keep watching our videos and take notes, screenshots and whatever else you like, to help you improve your projects and give them a professional look. Happy beading!
I may have missed it, but I didn't see pinch bails. I have some pinch bails. I'm not sure whether to use glue as well. I'm kind of nervous to just trust that pinch to keep my stone secure. most do have a pin that fits through a drilled hole but there is one kind that doesn't. Any tips for using pinch bails successfuly?
tyvm great tips. when I saw your simple toggle & loop I thought it would be great with your guards instead of seed bead loop. Do you think that would work?
Great source of information - Thank You

Thank you for such useful information!
Very useful, Allie! Is there a video on the main pendant with the beaded bail or the wreath?
Thank you!! I’m always trying to think of new bails and ways to display pendants!!
I bought some bails after Thanksgiving...much to my surprise, some of the bails are closed - could they just be for cords of the like?
