Honestly I was a bit skeptical about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but I'm glad it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I do like sad stories but it's also good to find books that can make you laugh out loud. I was fairly sure you were going to prefer East of Eden, but oh boy it surpassed all my expectations, what a journey! I've never read John Steinbeck (shame on me), but after such glowing commentary it's going straight to my tbr. Have a lovely week! 😊
