The days when stunt skill was an art, not CGI - much more enjoyable.
Type some guy named "Remy Julienne" in the search bar and have a look at that, you're in for retreat, I'm telling you bro! And I'm in it, as a matter of act. Yes I do indeedoodee do.
The 2CV is a truly brilliant vehicle. I drove one 12,500 miles through the UK and Europe and got 60 miles to the gallon at 60 miles an hour fully loaded with 3 people and camping gear and all with a 600 cc flat twin motor. They have a fantastic heater for cold climates and a roll back roof for summer, I only wish I could have brought mine home with me.
- "Are you sure she knows how to drive, sister?
- "It's me that taught her"
_ "You have created a style !" 🤣🤣🤣
Für mich der beste Bond, weil seine Filme nicht so ernst waren , etwas für die ganze Familie und auch klein Kinder .
I can picture James Bond driving his well equiped model. In 1981, a bunch of us packed into the back of the 2CV box truck and bounced down the Autobahn from Bremerhaven to Bremen probably a full 45 miles/70 kilometers an hour. I think only a 1960s Volkswagen bus was as uniquely just as fun. I hear Porsches and Maseratis are more fun, so stressful passing all the other cars as if they were all parked, no thank you. The Porsche Polizei vehicle cruising past us, lights off. And arriving at Holland at the end of a different Autobahn, suddenly the world changes drastically to a fantasy land with a calmness unexpected and pleasant. I miss and treasure my 3 years in Bremerhaven and Hanau by Frankfurt. I miss the trains the most, and my many wonderful friends I could not find on Facebook.
The best car chases!!! 2CV is the best...
Ah, Louis de Funes. Haven’t seen that scene since I was a kid. Fun memories. Thanks.
Dites vous n'avez jamais eu d'accident ? Non je ne conduis que depuis hier 😂😂😂😂
One of the best cars like the German beetle. No chip. No Aircon. No fakes. No electronic boxes. And run and run. Today fucking Tesla cars, hybrid bullshit, 1000cc 4Zyl. with 4 turbos 400HP eco cars, and chip's for everything's. Diesel is called a dust car.
Back to the horse carriage time is much better as the car time now.
Citroën’s 2CV is a legend!👍😂
ALLEGED end, you mean to say... Just you wait. 2CV super car is making a comeback, a trendy one I must say. And so are those older movies in France. Actors like these are ALL legendary, no exception, not only Moore, you know?
Citroën even made a Bond Edition with the 007 logo and fake bullet holes. 😂
and on each of those special series 007 2cv's the fake bullet holes were in a different place because they were stuck on randomly.
There is one 007 2CV at Eendjesmuseum in Andijk 😂😉
I love it.
😅😅p
My first Saturday job was at a Citroen dealer and we sold two of them - I got to stick the bullet holes on one 🙂
The Louis de Funes movie scenes were hilarious! RIP Louis de Funes.
Love it. Citroens are some of the safest cars ever made. Great suspension.
Hell, you NEED to drive the bloody thing slow. Small wonder it's so safe.
@@Nighthawke70 Depends on what you mean by "slow" True, I could never get my Visa, (same engine and suspension) much above 70mph, but i didn't really have to slow down much either. I almost got this guy to race me with his sports car, then he realized I meant across the very rough camping field we were in
@@Nighthawke70 They were designed as cheap cars for farmers, and thus had excellent off road capabilities. In fact Citroen offered a prize to the first person to roll one without hitting an object and it is still unclaimed. The suspension could cope with anything you threw at it.
@@Cervando Especially French cobblestone roads.
@@Nighthawke70 This came up in my suggestions. You can see even when driven hard how good the suspension is. ruclips.net/video/--rRyeh-viI/видео.html
The James Bond car chase was actually filmed in Corfu. When I worked over there I used to travel that road regularly in my Ford Fiesta.
That is admitted in the documentary on the DVD of that movie.
I know what a lot of people think about french. Yes sometimes we can seem arrogant... but we had the 2CV and Carole Bouquet guys. It's a win you gotta admit. Lol
Funny way to discover your channel, So you are a Dutch 2CV fan ? You are a Deudeushdutch fan !
For more than 23 years i has 2cv's . Started with one as a first car and had many over the years. Stil have one 2cv , ami6 and a traction avant familiale. And a grand Picasso for the family🙂
@@dutchcitroen2cv When i was a child we have a "Deudeush" too, a red one but she was totaled in a car crash, i dont remember a lot i was too young. Then my father bought her sister the Dyane6, great memories, it was able to go everywhere, it's been the first car i drive on his knees.
After that he moved to work for Renault Trucks so we had some Renault car.
Once adult I was not a Citroen fan but i had the opportunity to buy a 2002 C5 exclusive, so confortable, and a really safe handling, but a poor reliability with some stuff. But i managed to sold her after 300.000 km, not so bad, it was my last Citroën
@@centropyges my 2007 c4 Picasso has passed it MOT last week without any problems... It has 345.000 km . (1.8 16v) . Also had a ds-ses cx , gsa x3 , dyane's , acadiane and so on.... Only had one Peugeot 307 than switched back to Citroën again. But the new ones dont attract me like the old ones did so i dont what the next "modern" car will be.
@@dutchcitroen2cv Me too, I dont like this style that first came with the cactus and now appear on all those SUV. In France you would be called a "Citroeniste" and i understand why the citroenists are sad with those recent car. The brand have lost a part of her soul. The DS, The GS, the CX, BX,XM..., they were original, technologic, efficient. The ami6, DS, GS... looks like some UFO on the road, It's not like this anymore. Peugeot,( now Stellantis) is giving the wrong way i think, the "DS Brand" for example, people dont understand why there is a C4 and a DS4 for example..., no more hydraulic suspension, no iconic models, the new 1,2 puretech engine is a disaster...
(This is the electric part, please dont shoot lol)I'm an Opel Ampera driver since 7 years now (one of the 300 only in france, you have a lot more in Dutchland) and since Stellantis bought Opel from GM, it's also a strange feeling. We are in 2023 and none of their PHEV car reach the level of a 2012 Ampera, none of their electric car reach the level of a 2016 Ampera-e.
@@centropyges desings are "safe" and not special anymore . but its still way better than the type of crap the VAG brands are producing 😁
Que j'ai aimé ma Deuche. ❤❤❤ My first affordable car as a student. No problems in summer and winter. I could repair it myself. A good friend still has one. We still enjoy to ride it.

Of course, the sequence where the 2CV gets cut into pieces was reprised by James Bond in A View To A Kill - with a Renault 11!
It was the same stuntman : Remy Julienne ;-)
@@upsilonnolispu6958 Not really surprising, he was (RIP) one of the best and certainly the best in France at that time. About James Bond/007, he was involved with six of those movies.
super auto 👌
The worldview held by the designers of the 2cv was truly out-of-the-box. Simplicity, gentleness, flexibility, ruggedness, unassuming style, economy....I could go on for paragraphs.
Eso no es restaurar un auto - eso es puro amor.
Excelente
Amazing car.
And it's only 2CV!!😁
ドリフのコントを観ている様で、何時までも見続けられる楽しい車の映画ばかりですね!
もはやルパンの世界ですね(笑)2CVのタフなこと
I feel like inspector Clouseau has a missing scene in this montage.
Those French Nuns seem a lot more pleasant (and a lot better looking) than the Roman Catholic Nuns I had in grade school in the early 80's.
French vs Irish ;-)
@@NBHank I went to Catholic Scool in the United States. I'll have to take your word for it on the Irish Nuns.😅
@@thatcarguy1UZ Your RC nuns in the US were more likely of Irish Catholic origin than french catholic origin ;-) and thus mean and not too hot. I have both in my family tree
2:38 see the roll cage.
Crazy nuns
The best 2CV for Citroën
Front wheel drive for the win!
7:00 Now I know the source of Renaut Scene in View to kill movie
Is it ever explaned in those movies, why those nuns were driving like maniacs?😂😂😂
they know how to really drive a 2cv i drive like those nuns to ! :-)
@@dutchcitroen2cv 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍
if you can understand french the nuns explain it in the clip at 1:00
and at 9:22
why they driving like maniacs
Its the faith in God. In real life when I was on business trips to Istanbul the more maniac a taxi driver was driving you could see that he believed very strong that everything is in the hands of Allah.
@@gunterhagendorf8318 ....ah....that explains all those douchebags on the road....
I always wondered about that. Thanks. 😂
The duck is absolutely iconic. It's a shame that this great car is hardly ever on the roads anymore.
Unfortunately, many ducks have mercilessly fallen victim to the rust.
In the Netherlands we have allot of them still on the road. Some still are peoples daily driver. The 2cv is so popular that in the small country the Netherlands are we have about 8 companies that specializes in the 2cv.
we still have many on the road here in France
Citroën's bodies are far less subject to the rust than Mercedes or Porsches.
Not one in Korea, I believe.
Still on the roads in Ireland
The tin snail a truly revolutionary design.
The Nun drives like a German cabbie when you tell him to step on it!
eh bien, Elle est Forte celle-la!
Citroen were so well built that they could even stop bullets 😂
8:01, pay close attention to how close that stuntman was to being clipped by the back end of the 2CV! 😯 Pretty much "as close as it gets", bet they did that in one take as well!
Also, 2CVs seem to make nuns be in a permanently ecstatic and amused mood! 😂
😂 You just push My memories of My grand father driving his ami8. He drove like that girl xD SO much fun
Sister Clothilde…
Sister Marie-Bénédicte…
God bless you for the LMFAO ! 😂😂😂😂😂
0:28 this road looks like the „Route de Bonne Terrasse“ near to Saint Tropez
Roger Moore "Love a driver in the country, dont you?".... Brilliant ad-lib.... Filmed in beautiful Corfu up in the quaint village of Pagi. 💙
Mino correction: "Love a drive in the country, dont you?".
Quelle bombe cette 2cv !
Quel sourire cette conductrice
9:10 all the crazy it goes hahaha 😂😂
🤣 What you can do with a 2CV ! And zero CGI !
I didn't know for the GS engine on the James Bond one.
But an other fun fact, a 2CV cut in half has to be modified, for the fuel tank is in the back. ;-)
C'est une voiture iconique de mon pays, la France !
Wie van onze generatie heeft die films niet gezien. Wij gingen met een Diane naar Spanje, met 4 kinderen. Heel normaal toen.
I like this Movie 👌👌
Yo tue un peugeot 504 , exelente maquina a todo terreno,el 1,800 y el 2,000
Louis de Funès
Hilarious! When the nun is down to just two wheels and an engine, she seems to have gained about 100# (stunt driver that is) ;-)
Didn't they have to slow down the film of the car because they are too fast in real life
What the hell 🤣🤣 7:13

とても楽しい心温まる動画ですね🤣!
2CV WAS THE CRAZIEST SMALL BUT SMART CAR...CITROEN MUST START REMANUFACTURING NEW 2 CVS AGAIN.
« I love a drive in the country, don’t you ?! »
Music by Bill Conti.
The funniest isn't here. (well it's not a movie) It's from a British TV satirical comedy series "Whoops Apocalypse".
The deposed Shah of Iran is being driven through the Docklands in London in one of these Citroens. However his chauffer is blindfolded, he's not allowed to look at the Shah. While he's driving, to the panic of the Shah, he explains- "My eyes must not look into the eyes of the exalted one, the holiest of holy's, king of kings, jewel of the cosmos, (and on and on and onynonynon) by accident in the mirror, or else I must pluck my own eyes out, as it is written".
The car moves about almost rolling over impossibly at every turn .
It is SO funny I was on my knees gasping for breath.... ending with hiccups. I don't think I've laughed like that since.
classic scenes....
Бедный ситроен😁🤣🤣
What is it about cheerful French nuns and the gendarmerie getting into 2CVs together?
makes nice movies to watch :-)
You ve 6 movies with the "gendarme" in all of them you ve a scene with the nun in a 2cv driving crazy😅
The French have a pronounced taste for incongruous and incredible situations. This is often found in our cinema and theater.
I love that car
lesson learned. never let a lady wearing a funny white hat drive your 2cv.
I guess they didn’t call them flying nuns for nothing!

👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂😂😂
If Penelope from pokemon xy drives there, she went go super crazy 😅
Идрить у него хода подвески.
Even after a few rollover
that still runs strong.
What a car should be.
they sure used multiple cars and alot of roll bars, because the CV2 is not a car but a frame made from tin cans and a body that is made of metal foil and has no strength at all,
and in an accident the car will wrap around you like a tight suit.
Touche', 007. (smile)
Nun Wrc rally class
5:35 You can spot the 2nd unit camerman and assistant camera operator hiding behind a tree, capturing the car crash.
Those last guys all looked like they wanted to kiss the ground.
