Wow, I've seen many of her videos playing music at The Promenade in Santa Monica as a little girl, she was already brilliant then. She's grown to be a beautiful young woman. A very bright future ahead, I'm sure. Thank you Karolina for sharing your wonderful talent with the world.
Hello carl . Thank you so much for accept the requests of your subscribers . Karolina is extraordinary , she is incredible , she is a genius . Look that when she play in the streets she is always smiling , dancing , but when she play with an orchestra , she is serious , concentrated . All one professional . Shd has one fantastic future
I call Karolina "a violinist with three separate styles". Street music style that she has created herself and is quite unique, reminiscent of Lindsey Stirling but moving on her own separate path. Classical music style which she executes beautifully with formal classically historical concert approach. And religious music (church music) style that combines both previous ones with excellently captivating and heartwarming result. Street music sound style performed with serious classical stance. I really can't recall any other renown instrumentalist - let alone a teenager one - mastering all distinctive three + singing this way.
Hello! This piece by Italian composer Ennio Morricone was an encore to her previous performance of Mendelssohn violin concerto. By the way - the first violinist in this orchestra she embraced at the end was her classical violin professor Sam Fischer. Her blogs show learning new classical masterpieces with many movements obviously to perform with an orchestra in near future. And do you know the funny fact? She doesn't attend any higher academy of music - she is just a high school sophomore. She has achieved this level by taking PRIVATE lessons from her teacher who works in a couple of musical education establishments as well as playing in orchestras. A young professional musician without recognition as such in academic circles yet. Very possibly she advances to her teacher's academy after graduating high school. Thank you for starting to say her first name correctly! I presume that after seeing this you can't describe her activities on the street as a "sweet dancing pixie" any more. Actually popular music renditions are a "walk in the park" for her technically and musically. Technical intricacies of classical music exclude any dancing for total concentration and control of the instrument, improvisational and easy for her to perform street music enables dancing freely. She has taken ballet lessons to polish her dance movements without losing control of the bow and strings. She has created her own inimitable playing and sound style (copied unsuccessfully by hundreds of young girl violinists around the world) and has the ability to improvise freely on the spot in her covers. She composes her covers entirely by ears only, but learns classical works from sheet music naturally. She is able to create a complicated cover within hours, usually doing two per week. It may not seem so, but Karolina on average performs on the street twice a month only. She has over 8,5M subscribers in YT, another nearly 2M on her other channels (Voice - yes she sings too, has a beautiful voice, Vlog and Official), 11M in FB, 2M in IG. Over 2,1 BILLION views on her violin channel alone. Not bad for a 16 yo teenage artist at all, right? Thank you for a nice reaction. Next I propose you look at her cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters at 13 yo. Cheers!
I do not know if you know her family is from Ukraine, she was born there. Her entire family is very talented. We are so fortunate that they came here to get away from the problems there. They are now citizens of the U.S.
Good reaction, there is more to come from Karolina outside her street performances.
I played the Viola for 10 years and she's First Chair, Violins, for sure!! Loved this!💖💖🎶🎶
I enjoy her violin playing so much.i think I have watched every one of her videos, there are a lot of them.
