Dear Sister in the Lord...onward Christians Soldiers...my mom's favority and is mine also!!! Thanks so much!!! Such great joy brought to my "old/new" heart....
What? This is incredible. She just sits down and plays any request? Different octaves, differ tempos, lots of ad lib. I am amazed at her skill level. This brings back so many memories of church as a kid. Churches do not play these hymns anymore. Praise God and thank YOU!
DEAR SISTER NATALIE, WOW WHAT A JEWEL YOU ARE! I HAVE JUST DISCOVERED YOU A WEEK AGO. YOU PLAY THE PIANO WITH SUCH HIGH SPIRITS AND ENERGY, WHICH TAKES ME TO THE HEIGHTS OF HEAVEN!!! ☁️ MAY YOU KINDLY PLAY," IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL." FOR THIS I THANK YOU KINDLY. 🤗 I USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS SO I CAN SEE IT, AM VISION IMPAIRED. MAY OUR JESUS CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU ALL SPECIAL! ✝️🙌🏽💟🙏🏽🌹🌹🌹
Ohh Natalie. ALL the songs you had never heard of...all of them I grew up singing in church!!! They were all wonderful to sing. You playing them now, brings so many memories flooding back. Thank you so much for bringing them back to me. God has given you a wonderful talent. I enjoy all of your videos so very much. Awww, the old hymns, brings a tear to my eyes of remembering my mother singing all of them. Thank you so much.
How wonderfully joyous to hear the message of each hymn as you go from Grand to graceful, depending on the lyrics of each verse. No matter how loud or soft they may be, they're beautiful all the way through!! Oh, how we need His Spirit's Love Divine, all love excelling, to keep us in the hollow of His hand. Thanks again, Natalie and Josh.🙏🎹🎶
Thank God for blessing you with this talent which you are now sharing with us. There is'nt anything left for me to say about your playing....I am lost for words. All i can say is To God be all glory
Thank you again, Natalie and Josh. I'd be lost without your regular posts, which gives us so much to look forward to. God bless you both with strength to carry on with this much valued ministry. There's nothing else quite like it, presented with such grace and clarity.
Hi Natalie, I read "My Story" and saw that your Dad pastors a church in H'ville. That is my hometown!! I am 70+ and have been gone from there for a long time. My home church was Shaws Creek, out on 64! I am enjoying your playing very much! So glad I dropped in and subscribed! Anita Drake Dilbon. I am now living in Springfield, MO
Sentimos tua falta em nossa casa com teu lindo e abençoador talento no servir ao Senhor. Sentimos falta de tua familia, do som do piano e dos louvores ao nosso Deus!
Hey pretty good!! Especially at 2X speed, just go to settings and put playback speed up to 2x. Sometimes I turn on the whole house speakers and let it rip, everyone then knows, I am getting and will be in a good mood thereafter!! Thank God for Baptists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And thank you, Natalie, for playing "I found what I wanted when I found the Lord" and "Each step of the way" - and "Each step I take" as a bonus! I'm very grateful to you.
Thanks again Natalie & Josh. That last song, "God so loved" has beautiful music as well as the lyrics and is well worth practicing so we can hear it in future.
We sang "When we all ro heaven " to my mom in the hospital. She died in the middle of the refrain. That was okay because she was 92 and had been asking God to take her to Heaven for 2 days. She would have loved to listen to your videos.
Natalie, I am so thankful that the Lord had your videos show up in my suggested video list. I love watching Scott Bradlee do his piano requests each night (not Christian but he plays some awesome music). IF you don't know him, take a look. Anyway, I have been using your Sunday Hymns videos at night before I go to bed as a way to calm down, focus on God and think about the times when my Granddaddy used to lead music at our little country church. He had quartet of a gentleman and a couple of ladies in the church and from time to time they would sing a song and then do it singing the shape notes. Of course we used the redback book back then. Thank you for sharing your talents with the masses.
Just wanted to say thanks 🙏🏻 . You are a blessing and uplifting to people’s spirits. Especially during these times of COVID-19. With church being canceled. I enjoy the older hymns you are so blessed on piano. Thanks so much and many prayers for you and your family 🙏🏻 11-30-20
Loved the first song you played Natalie! We Have Come Into This House And Gathered in His Name to Worship Him - that was one of my grandfather’s father songs!
I so enjoy your weekly hymns. I would love to hear you play "My Song" from Favorites %. I think you would love the chord structures and progressions. Thank you so much for your willingness to share your talent.
I’m loving 28:10 Andre Crouch’s The Blood Will Never Loose It’s Power ... I agree with the person who commented that they thought they knew a lot of hymns until I started watching and there is a vast collection that I don’t know. Tonight’s collection was probably had the most that I’d never heard. Love your passion for them tho!
Your God inspired playing was just what I needed this morning. I am quarantined for two weeks, and your sharing of your amazing gift raised my spirits. Thank you Natalie and Josh.
A HUGE WOOOHOOO!!! I went by a church when I left work and I asked if they had any old hymnals that they would like to donate to our Life and Men's group at my church and they had some old Broadman Hymnals that had that old "musty" spell. I got to turn the pages straight to where you were playing, Natalie!!! God Bless You & Josh's ministry!!
Grew up in small So Baptist church in Arkansas that sang from the Broadman. First hymns I learned to play were from it. Some songs you played ftom it I hadn't heard in years and some from it I had never heard. Tried to find mine but couldn't. It's around my house somewhere and I am going to look for it.
Hello from the West Coast of Ireland. Your music is such a blessing to me and my wife. It’s God inspired playing with such skill and inspiration. Could I request Dear Saviour Thou art Mine. Written by Anna Hudson who had a very personal faith in Christ and this can be felt in the Chorus, Mine, Mine, Mine I know thou art mine It is also a great congestion’s hymn to sing especially through the chorus Mine, Mine, Mine, it transports us right into the presence of our Saviour. Greetings from Sligo, Ireland. Dougie Colvin
Great hymn suggestion. You might also like beauty in song on RUclips. Richard McViegh from 🇬🇧. 3 hrs of hymns on Sunday. Organ. Quite fun. Great blessings. I’m in Texas
@@tomparsons6177 I see Richard McVeigh’s RUclips Channel is called “BEAUTY IN SOUND”. Thank you for mentioning it ; my 95 y.o. mother will love it ... as well as Natalie’s . Mom is still very active with her piano playing at her retirement village. Music is one of God’s most precious gifts, a language we can all share - after the tower of Babel, wasn’t it so sweet of Papa God to leave us yet a Universal language! Thanks for the abundance of blessings , Natalie and family.
Admiring your work here, it sounds amazing! Working at putting a channel together myself, so fun to work with the hymns and play around with different chord progressions and styles!
Hi Natalie, I listen and watch your beautiful music from God every day. I have noticed that’s the word FALL on your fire place hearth looks like FAIL on my screen. FYI❤️✝️
My dad and I look forward to the next video a great deal. Could you record with a little bit more volume on the piano? Usually your voice comes across a bit soft to me also. And my dad has hearing difficulties, so for him it can be hard to hear you unless I run a cable to an amp from his tablet. Since mom died, he goes to bed listening to your piano every night. Thank you for sharing your gift!
Does your Dad wear hearing aids? There is a device you can get that you wear around your neck that you can adjust them volume so that he can hear the TV even when it is on "mute" (for something you don't particularly want to hear).
God So Loved the World is from Stainer's Crucifixion - I am not sure that arpeggios are quite the right style for this hymn. Maybe a bit of accentuation on PErish. This is one of my all time favorite recordings. ruclips.net/video/UfUtAMghNVs/видео.html Peterborough Cathedral go to 28:03. Also The Crucifixion has other hymns. "Cross of Jesus" comes at 19:00 and would be an interesting to work up - but the genre of both is very much in the cathedral, as opposed to gospel style. Actually, Fling Wide The Gates at the beginning might make the basis for a composition for congregation, with more of a gospel vibe. You can read all about Stainer's Crucifixion and see the different parts - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Crucifixion_(Stainer).
On your next video can you play Are You Washed In The Blood for dad. He has cancer and has to go to cancer treatments and he can't work anymore. He stays tired and in pain a lot he has good days and bad days. Thank you hope you have a great day .
In times like this we need a Saviour, in times like this we need a Master....be very sure, be very sure!!! Thank you...for these precious moments!
