    How you avoided them sticking to the basket if you didnt use wax paper?
    Great recipe! Going to try it next week, just what I was looking for, do you think MSG would make it better?

      I was concerned about the same thing but luckily it didn’t stick. You can always lightly grease the steamer with oil or use the paper if you like. MSG would be fine but it’s not something I usually use.

    What is a good Asian sauce that can be made to eat with the buns?

      I like black vinegar (available at Asian supermarkets or can sub in balsamic vinegar) or chili oil!
