    I miss being there, I enjoyed being stationed there years ago. The base looks like it change a bit when I was an MA 2

    The fact they have e3s still standing there at the gate is disheartening. I’ll choose a different rate.

      I Googled him,as of a year ago he was still MA, but not a pilot. Also he attempted to become a SEAL, didn't make it. No word if he is an officer.

      @bre9111 3 года назад

      mmm not really the scoring has changed. i know a lot of people that i work with as an MA the got low scores on the asvab. sometimes you just gotta wait and see what’s available for you or not. if not just retake the test, don’t let your recruiter make you set for something you don’t want.

    I'm 13 I want to join the navy should i go enlisted or officer I plan on going to college sometime but i don't want my parents to have to pay for it any advice

    • @twinofny
      @twinofny 9 лет назад

      If you go in as an officer you have to get ago of score on your ASVAB and/or have at minumum a bachelors degree from an accredited college. It's better to go in then move up the tanks for more respect from your peers.
      As far as school you don't have to go in full-time. You can do Navy Reserve and still have the GI Bill pay for school. Reserve is 6 years w/ 1 weekend of drill monthly and a 2 month cruise in the summer vs 4 years active on base or at sea more. Which you do is up to you . I was in the Army NG and preferred my freedom to do not rid what I wanted vs active duty. Think on it and do your research and always stay in contact with a recruiter or ppl you know personally in the military.

      +Nicholas Alvarez Officer.Sense you plan on going to college you should sign up for the NROTC,NROTC will pay for your college,and train you to become an officer in the Navy.But you got a long way ahead before you can do all that stuff,so for now get good grades, do good in school,stay fit,and stay healthy,and enjoy your teenage hood as much as you can.But to be an officer you have to graduate from high school and have a very good GPA then either do Naval Academy,or NROTC and get your bachelors degree.When you do NROTC,you have to be a full time college student,meaning you have to live on college campus.When you finish college and become a second lieutenant in the US Navy you can choose from Navy reserve,or Navy active duty.Reserve means part time so you can stay close to home,and do the job you love while being a commissioned officer in the navy,you'll work once a month,and train two times a year.Active duty means full time so you'll work everyday 24/7,and most of the time you be sailing on ship and away from family and home alot more then staying home with family

      Nicholas Alvarez my vote is go the ROTC route in college. Immediately upon graduating you will enter The Navy as an officer. That’s just my opinion. I was enlisted active duty Army followed by the Air National Guard. (1)You will have graduated from college which was paid for by the Navy (2) you will be an officer which provides a better standard of living and respect (3) Higher pay and retirement pay if you stay in (4) the civilian world really sucks compared to military life. Overall better quality of person, like minded peers, goal oriented, friends or even battle buddies you don’t like that have your back and you have theirs no matter what and your always striving to do better and learn more, paid training, promotions, job stability, pride in your service and you get to protect this awesome country! Good Luck

    Hey guys! Right now I'm a Security Officer and I make 720$ every pay check 2 weeks. I want to be a cop someday and I think Military Police would be a good start. Is it worth it to lose my 720$ for the Navy
