That was my favorite song from that movie, Jodi Benson still has that magic touch to her voice, she is absolutely beautiful and amazing, unbelievably talented and beautiful job on the song miss Benson, love your work and voice in The Little Mermaid!
This is my all time favorite song and movie, and I've heard so many live performances of this song, and I have to say, this was one of Jodi's best! Magical moment!
Im a 33 year old man sitting outside in his garden having a few beers taking a break making a shed base. Listening to this on headphones hoping nobody else hears this...
This is a treat to watch she is amazing and incredible still doesn’t miss a beat on this song I love Hallie’s part of your world both of them are amazing singers love this song
Hate the fact that Pat Caroll abd Samuel Wright are no longer living. I could see as clear as day Pat performing "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and Sam singing "Under the Sea" on this very stage. All 3 of them together conversating about the 35th anniversary. SMFH. Just wish they was still here
Lets not forget who’s the real Ariel. The Ariel who got casted because of her amazing talent and not because of her race , No Halle didnt got casted because of her talent she got casted because she is black thats how Disneys rols
@@Catinthehat6969 the producers didn’t care about the looks that wasn’t the point of the character of Ariel, she was just the best person who auditioned
@@Catinthehat6969 the movie was announced in 2019. People were complaining then along with the "Ariel's part-fish, it shouldn't be a problem" response, and Jodi herself said it back then...she's fine with Halle. They even had interviews showing back then where Halle was cast because she can sing. They went the Brandy Cinderella route with this one...perfect for Little Mermaid really. Ariel's "the outcast" undersea. Changing her race only further emphasizes that fact...and since most people want *Her Voice* to say someone of color can't play Ariel (when even after Sierra Boggess left the Broadway production there was an Asian Ariel) would be acting like Ursula and taking it away...and that is *Unfortunate.*
35 years later, Jodi Benson's voice is still as magical as ever. We love you Jodi and we love The Little Mermaid.🥰❤️💖💕💗🧜🏻♀️

And to think it was almost cut from the film.

Sadly they made that mistake in Pocahontas. If I never knew you should be readded into the movie and dubbed in all languages.

Thank you for the uploads. These Disney films were a big, influential part of my childhood.
Love her
Her and Hallie need to do a duet together on this song
no. Hallie isn't the little mermaid.
Never heard of a black Ariel!

I can’t wait to meet Jodi Benson at Tampa Bay Comic Con
This is Ariel.
I love her ❤
There's a reason why it's Jodi Benson there and no Halle Bailey, there's one Ariel and it's Jodi.
My heart!!🥺🧜🏼♀️ thank you for uploading! Do you have anymore videos from the concert by any chance?
sabrina carpenter and Alex Aiono should sing let me be your wings (From "Thumbelina") for the 30th anniversary✨🧚
Way better than Halle Bailey.
I LOVED every second of this until the other 3 came in and ruined it. Whose idea was that? Jodi was magnificent!
Same here and agreed.
When Disney was … Disney!
Amazing 🫶🏾🫶🏾
