Excellent review Gerard, and that was a perfect description like a walk through nature. It feels like I’m flying over Ireland looking down at the beautiful land beneath me lol

Hey man. I know you do rack stores every few weeks for the open box use clones. There are 2 new milestone fragrances that are out that have bottles resembling creed house. The name is "grade one" this bottle looks like an adventus bottle but smells like a green Irish tweed clone. Then there is also a white bottle with silver label called "grade one silver water" which i thought was a silver mountain water clone but after smelling it I thought it smelled very similar to green Irish tweed as well. After hearing you review of Himalaya, I believe this is what that may be cloning with its similarity to GIT. I'm just hoping you find them both just to review them and give me your thoughts since you have both real comparables.
I thought for sure I'd love Green Irish Tweed. I almost blind bought it, but after getting burned by ADG Profumo, I ordered a sample. It was meh to me. Didnt enjoy it enough to drop the coin necessary to get a bottle.
I didn't get into fragrances until I was 58 yrs old. GIT was one of my first and most loved. I felt it was perfect for older men. Especially if they literally wore tweed
Great video! Bought Creed Aventus and I didn’t like. I then bought Silver Mountain Water and it became my favorite Creed fragrance because it’s a fresh and clean scent. Do you think if I liked Silver Mountain Water that I would like Green Irish Tweed? Thanks!

This is why I do believe creed is ok to buy it. Creed just smells so natural doesn’t burn your nose claimed 40% natural ingredients and that’s extremely high in the fragrance world. Most those synthetics nose burn fragrances are probably 10% natural
@@TheFLiZiP oh boy, okay, let's take a brief look at history. And for the record, I can't confirm any of this, nor can anyone, so take it with a grain of salt. A couple of years later, he releases Cool Water under Davidoff. Now, even if Bourdon took the exact recipe for Green Irish Tweed to Davidoff, there's a few things to consider: 1) There's a gulf between Davidoff and Creed in terms of quality, especially back in the 80s. Say what you will about Creed today and whether or not you think their quality has dropped in recent years, for a very long time they were one of THE premium products. So the cost to create a bottle of GIT was always going to be significantly more than Cool Water. 2) There's also creative control. The simple truth is that these things are definitely not a one to one, in fact they're not even the same category. Green Irish Tweed is green, Cool Water is aquatic. Some think so. However I find it to be synthetic which for this type of DNA isn't ideal. If you've never smelled GIT and you want a cheaper alternative Tres Nuit works.
Well, for the alternatives, I don't like Cool Water. There are few similar perfumes to use, for example Armaf Tres Nuit. If you can handle chemical explosion in the beginning and more sweet vibe, in the drydown it's nice. Also there are higher players in this game - Parfums Vintage Verbena Fields, which is aimed basically on drydown notes. Very nice. Or Montagne Parfums Irish Verbena, which comes more violety and is a good substitude. But in the end, it's still a substitide of what is great for itself, for what it is. If you are willing to spend for Creed, just don't think about it and do it. It became popular for a reason and it's still worth the price. In my top 5 favs.

GIT is the best creed.
Indeed!
U doing the community a dis service by telling people it's still good. Since 2019 creed went down hill and even green irish tweed is rubbish. Last best year was 2018. That bottle u have in your hand sucks .
I couldn’t disagree more but I will say…when you start your channel and talk about how trash Green Irish Tweed is I’ll subscribe.
@gerardgeorge it was my favorite niche of all time till 2019. I have a 2015 bottle 120ml and it smells 100 times better then anything from 2019 to now. It had a creamy lemon verbena note that was to die for. Now it's so bunk and it last 3 hours then becomes a skin scent if u are lucky

Yesss!
Spray it on your shirt
Yep gotta do it every time. Smells great on clothes.
200 odd euro a bottle? .......DSquared WOOD.......just as good if not BETTER!
I should do a comparison video!
@@gerardgeorge Dsquared WOOD - an outstanding fragrance and doesn't get enough credit. Thank you and great reviews.
I didnt like it, its too soapy if u like to be smelling like soap all day then its for u
I actually can see what you mean but for me it has a lot of depth. If I had soap like this I would use it everyday.
2023 F batch. lasts 3 hours max on skin or clothing. abysmal
Damn man that blows.
