I hope to. There is something going on with the internet connection to my computer, and it is not connecting to the internet. So I haven't been able to do any editing or anything :( I will be getting a new cord soon, and see if that fixes it. Then trouble shoot.
My husband especially would LOVE this trip. He's quite the history buff. This reminds me of parts of gold country area. We also loved the redwoods as well. We even trailored up his 1914 Model T and drove it through Yosemite. Our idea of fun.
I like looking at old cars but know nothing about them lol. I love the story aspect of history though. I am researching my family tree, because I don't want people forgotten. I have so many things I want to do, and not enough time.
Oooh you are making me miss Ghost towns. we have some in Alaska I believe but they arent anything like this! alot of the old buildings have been torn down or damaged because of all the earthquakes Alaska has had. I miss going to ghost towns still in tacked. In Michigan we had a few. Especially Fayette. and I did get to see some in Colorado. but we never got to take pictures of the inside buildings. I wish we did!
I stuck my camera right against the window panes to take those photos. I think they clean them at the beginning of summer each year. It is completely closed in winter. you have to take a dirt road to get there. I have some relatives in Alaska. I don't know them though :( I have a letter of my great grandma's that was from one of her sisters in Alaska about a big quake. I should find it, and put it online.
There are alot of big quakes in Alaska through out the history. The biggest one was in 1964. It changed the landscape of Alaska on the coastal lines and even where I live. You can still see parts of a town that was buried by the water after the earthquake. Its interesting!

My desk top computer, where my editing software lives, can't connect to the internet. I think there was water damage in the wall where the wired connection is. It has been out for months, and I can't have it rewired now. I miss filming, and creating. Hopefully I can get back to it sometime soonish. I am starting to draw again, and am thinking about starting to paint. I will tr to do some sort of update soon, just so you all know what happened.
