But unlike most other shows, the secondary characters play just as important of a role in the story and that's what made AtLA so special.

Originally they wanted Ozai was the show's main antagonist, but the writers realized he would not be able to cause Aang and his friends trouble sitting from his throne. Zuko was then written into the show but became a major character arc.
When Iroh's voice actor talked about finding the light out of the darkness, (or something like that), was he making a salvation testimony, or talking about coming out of depression. Did he have deep depression?
he was saying to be positive because nothing good comes from focusing only on the bad side. That's why it helped him out during COVID because we never knew what would happen to us and how long we would stay in the "new normal"
