I was part of a group and it flopped and the same person has set up another one and hasn't understood that three of their groups already flopped. Making these groups are so hard work
I can definitely tell which answers sunrise gave. It really shows how much effort you put into it. Also please do talk about masquerades at some point.
It’s definitely hard setting up one of these groups, especially if you can’t drive or you don’t have a circle of friends that are into love live and cosplay

That’s my group (Michi!Project) with ChiRi Girls at 1:32 😅 we also don’t consider ourselves to be cosplay idols, so it was surprising to see us appear in this video (without credit).
Is it bad that due to me seeing every Diet shampoo vlog I can tell that some of these are 100% Darling’s response?? I won’t say witch ones but some of the responses definitely scream darling all over it. I LOVE diet shampoo and Darling a lot. They got me into lovelive.

Had not idea we were apart of this video until I was on call with some of the girls last night lmao, this video was super well put together though and I think it’s nice getting insight into the idol group world :) especially for people looking to join one or wanting to create one themselves. Getting a group of several people together and coordinating meetups, cosplays, dances, etc. is crazy hard but imo is super worth it :)
I'm not part of one myself (I really wish) but I'm currently learning Koi no signal Rin Rin Rin my advice would be take it step by step and keep practicing until you think you got all the steps together then put it all together and you should be there! Keep a routine up too or it will slip from your mind
Within the past year I have joined a Love Live Idol group and I will be the first to say that it is a lot of work. We had some issues when we first started because on differing opinions on how much work/practice should be put in. Now we are a solid group with a team of leaders working together to make decisions. It is amazing when you get a group that is like minded in not only costumes/dances but also how much work to put in behind the scenes. If anyone wants to find a group I highly recommend using your local cons as a starting point to find members.
I'm 14 but my biggest dream is to be apart of an idol group but I know no one in my state or even the United States who's willing to travel for such a thing
There are actually more people in the us then you’d think! Travel wise, I found everyone for my group in my state, the longest someone had to drive to practice was an hour and 30 minutes. It definitely helps to have your driver’s license, but depending on where you live in your state you might be able to find a group and a studio to practice at ☺️

Because some people take it too lightly. It's sad. I'm so afraid we'll never be a full 9-er group..3 people doesn't seem that much but no matter what we do, we don't get new applications. =/ Even with the new seasons like Nijigasaki or Superstar I don't notice a raise in popularity. =/ (Like LL was so popular a few years ago, what happened..? =( )

I got told by multiple groups that my age made them feel uncomfortable 😐 very weird feeling to be told you're too old for something. Especially when you have devoted like 2 decades of your life to jpop anime idol dances lol... I was an actual irl Dancer and dance instructor at multiple dance studios. Back in Los Angeles I was always begged to join groups and help Dancers learn choreos then I moved to the south and got thrown away like a piece of garbage lol I just dance alone now.

All you have to do is be the right age I think lol 😆 I know every step to so many dances but got got turned away because I'm 30 lol 😭
