I love how early he plays the pass. He seems to take just one touch fewer which gives him a bit more room
100% agree. from all the things I heard about him, there was a suggestion that his progressive passing was an area that he needed to work on, but he was playing line breaking passes to midfield, the wingers, to Wheatley up top. Was really impressed with him both on the ball and off.
Even that "misplaced" pass was to do with him expecting Evans to move forward..and given he's only had 1 session with the team it's no surprise they aren't telepathic yet.

Yoro and Amad shined. But also very good performance from Mount and Collyer looks ready to at least be a backup. From a tactical perspective occasionally having the fullbacks invert was interesting.
I got goosebumps watching Yoro! His debut in a Man Utd shirt and he's playing impeccably well! He also looks comfortable and makes it look easy. He reminds me of Franz Beckenbauer! Beautiful player to watch!

Yoro looked good, made some nice defensive actions and played the ball well, other than the one pass.
Collyer didn't look out of place at all in the starting lineup. Two games in a row he's looked bright. I hope he'll get minutes this season.
Amad looked great all game long and deserves to get much more gametime this season.
Both strikers looked decent, Wheatly got into some good positions and a great strike by Hughill. With these two as backup I don't see any point in signing a third striker.
The rest of the youngsters didn't particularly impress me, Hanibal stood out but at times he lacks control and composure.
Overall a decent game, a deserved win and one to build upon.
Amass the academy left back was exciting to watch 😊

Amad was absolutely class. The other attacking players like Mount and Sancho were fine, but when Amad got on the ball you always felt like something was going to happen.
I loved his first goal against AC Milan a few years ago.

Nobody is talking about Oyodele. He is definitely out best midfielder so far from the two matches. Check the statistics. I think he will be excellent when you field him with the more experienced players. I've followed him for years and that guy has one big aura.

At 18 Yoro is already quality. Very cool in everything he does.
Mount looks rejuvenated, Sancho looks bright, Amad looks determined, Case looks domineering, Yoro looks super comfortable, Toby looks like two versions of Scholes and Keane. Overall, a good win. And a selection headache for the managers coming into the Arsenal game. I'm excited.

Been saying this since seeing Amad really blossom in the last third of the season with Sunderland, and I actually tuned in to watch their games especially the last few in the league and some play off games. Amad will morph into a number 10 and go on a similar journey to Bernando Silva. If he ends up 90% of Silva's level we'll have done very well with him.
I love the way Ahmad plays. I am sure is going to make a difference this season

What I really liked about Yoro is how calm and easy he was on the ball, just passing the ball in one touch and didn't afraid of making through passes for everyone on the field.

On another video talking about Collyer people said that he looks basic, doesnt do anything amazing....for me thats a promising sign for 6 and we saw that today.
Looked comfortable & kept things simple on the ball, though he still could move the ball forward.
He broke down their attacks, swept up, and recycled the ball when we were on attack. He had the pace to cover the ground and stop at least a couple of counter attacks.
Really solid game for him. If he continues to do that throughout preseason he'll definitely be in the squad

I will really love Amad to start and play more frequently this coming season.
Considering that Yoro only had 1 training session he looked calm in possession proactive in his passing whilst also making some crucial tackles & interceptions. No doubt a sign of things to come why so many top clubs wanted him. I thought Amad was immense while Mount & Sancho did well. Collyer & Amass aswell. The future is looking very promising. If we can add De Ligt & Ugarte then we'll be even more stronger & ready for the new season
Amad and Yoro were the stars in the first half. Wes Brown, in the half-time commentary, was giving a full back's perspective on how difficult it is to play against a player like Amad, who can use both feet. Unless there are injury problems again, I think Antony is now the 3rd choice for right wing.

Amad played very well today. Besides scoring, he made a brilliant pass after cutting through the Rangers' defense, setting up Sancho, who unfortunately missed.

we are so cooking this season, just now what we need is a strong medical department and some mentality for those rainy days where previously we go into series of bad game back to back

If Amad can carry this form to the opening of the season, I think the player under threat is Rashford. If he failed to perform in two to three matches, it is very likely ETH would deploy Amad. Then, the front would be Garnacho, Ramus (or Zerkzee) and Amad which is lethal.
Well, just hope competition would drive the players to perform. In this season, each position in the front has keen competition. If one doesn't perform, another one comes in and performs so the attacking power would be not affected.
I'm not easily impressed but Yoro is very impressive. You almost forget he's only 18!!!. Such composure & authority for a debutant. I think we can start 2 be optimistic Sam

I watched the game, we were slow at the back ...yoro will come good, but yoro and Evans I don't think we can play high line with both. But Sancho, amad, Toby Collyer and yoro were really good.
There will be a stiff competition in that attacking line. Am certain we are gonna get many goals this season, Sam. Imagine Hojlund competing against Zirkzee, Rashford against Sancho, Garnacho against Amad, Bruno against Mount. I just can't wait for the Premier League to start. GGMU
