2001 Tundra Broken Tailgate Handle Replacement! How to Fix a Broken Tailgate on a Toyota Tundra

Today I show you how to replace the tailgate handle on a 2001 Toyota Tundra Pickup Truck. This process is nearly universal for any truck tailgate and is pretty straightforward! Having the tailgate working properly is super important for getting the most out of your pickup truck, so I'm super glad I got this fixed. Thanks for posting this. I couldn’t open my tailgate, ordered the new handle/latch, and one of those small plastic pieces that connects the rod with the latch at the ends had failed. Your video got me through it.
