I had a few listens before but I honestly didn`t get it. Now after this reaction video I can say that this song finally grew up me, it's really one of those growers for me. And the imagery is awesome, best imagery for a video -ever.
Thanks for the info Allan. I learned something new.It was my first experience with this group so I mistakenlly didn't research their history. Thanks again friend.
@@sonicallydisruptive That sounds like a good idea; best one would probably be Shepherds Bush recording (old, but when Mikael’s growl was at its peak), Lamentations (even older), newer ones are the one from Royal Albert Hall (where his growl didn’t work so well, he wasn’t happy afterwards, something got wrong in the tuning, but otherwise an excellent performance) or the recording from Red Rock.
You have synthesized exactly what I think about Katatonia. For me, it's literally one of the best bands out there, I easily would listen for them for hours.
Hey I just saw a year old video of yours about underated and overlooked. Y&T and Dave Manicchetti was overlooked. Daves leads were amazing and he sang while doing it. Maybe you already did one on Y&T I'm not sure. Just found your channel.
What's up Joe? Its been a while since I've checked in on your channel so I watched a few to get an idea of your journey. So I first got acquainted a year or so back checking out your NeObliviscaris listens and wondering if you would like to dive back in with Forget Not,Devour Me Colossus, or a longer one called Painters of the Tempest. Personally I'd recommend them in the order I listed to get more of what this incredible band is about. Then maybe you can get to an Opeth request. Thanks friend.
The reaction video I've been waiting for from exactly the person I was waiting for. Thank you.
Thanks! I'll be doing more from the new album.
I'm pretty sure this album is going to be one of the greatest albums ever!! They deserve it.
Hope so.
Oh what an Amazing song ❤️

PS: This song rocks. Opeth had to be an influence. Like Depeche Mode vocals with Opethian soundscape.

@@Allan_Stone Yeah, Jonas and Mike are actually BEST of friends. They review one another's albums upon release.
Another great song from them, thanks for the reaction, it do sound Opeth inspired. One that note, very long time since you did an Opeth reaction
When they come out with new music I will. The problem is that I've listened to every Opeth song. I could do some live stuff I haven't seen?
