I think this is one of the most accessible and fun drones to fly. Excellent value and very easy to learn to start quickly taking high-quality photos and videos.

Awesome all round mid price drone . Stacked with so many adjustable and automatic parameters.

The DJI Flip is my first drone, and I focus on using it to follow me when hiking, biking, walking our doggy mascot, and doing other nonprofit events. It's occasionally used for scenic community aerial shots.
The DJI Neo wasn't an option for me due to its limited battery life and inability to follow me at faster biking speeds.
The DJI Mini Pro 4 was a strong contender because it supports waypoints and can fly with obstacle avoidance. However, being new to drone flying, I prefer having the safety of propeller guards, especially when flying near people or through narrow hiking trails.
I wish the DJI Flip included remote ID within its 249g body to hover over people when shooting nonprofit and community events as as per Category 1 FAA regulations.
I typically plan purchases based on an item meeting 95% of my needs, and the DJI Flip satisfies that.
