Shotzzy literally won them the p2 hill when they were spawning out and to lose like this. I saw shotzzy face after, he looked disbelief. Hopefully they can comeback
Huke is a Liability! Drop him no matter what! What a dumb stupid decision when you need 4 seconds to go for kills! Even Gold players on rank play wouldn’t make such a play! Shocking how he is a pro!
Huke's mistake DEFENETLY! BUT, let's not forget Shotzzys mistake in P4 when he stoped shooting Skyz in the water. He ended up making a double kill + got hill scrap time, that could have lead to OpTic win the match!
if you rewatch the clip his shots didnt register, i think it was tacticalrab that broke the clip down in slow motion. he shot enough to kill kismet but the shots didnt register. i dont put that on shotzzy. but you are right, that was an important 25-30 point swing heading into p5
Huke just isn't a smart kid full stop. You need a brain to play at the highest level and he's just not smart enough in these moments. It would be okay if the others could carry when he makes these mistakes but that's not been happening. He's one of the best at the run n gun style of play but his pacing and understanding of situations is sub par.
Huke is in danger unless OpTic win this event. Even if they do win I mean I was against it at first but like, All he had to do was sit on that P4 ledge corner. And even if he got gunned it would have bought time and also they would have known someone was coming.
Die-hard OpTic fan here. He's a great guy and can be an elite player when he's on, but he's incredibly inconsistent the past couple years (especially this season). Seems like he's either going double positive or double negative with no in-between. Which sucks because if he could at least go even or slightly positive in some of these matches, OG is prob winning more games. He's also plagued with the same issue that Shottzy deals with at times, which is the inability to slow down and pre-aim or play a corner. While I understand they are both accustomed to playing super fast paced as SMGs and making flashy plays, it is a double-edged sword that oftentimes can also lose them series. There have been several occasions where one, if not both of them, have gone double negative or worse because they continue to full sprint and challenge the other team, while the other team sits on a head glitch or plays a cheeky corner. Sometimes you have to slow it down to have success, which is something that this team doesn't do sometimes. In fact, seems like when they start to face troubles in respawns, they become even more frantic and start trying to make hero plays which only magnifies the problem and makes it easier for opponents to hold control of the map.

Shotzzy has improved A lot with slowing down and being disciplined since Dan joined the team. Ill be suprised if next year isnt Dashy, Ghosty, Shotzzy, Pred.
nYSL can literally only bang front here and huke played for the long route then went for useless cutoff kills. Hukes been making plays like this since he joined the team so Im thinking Crimsix was right. the minimap tells all.
Im still beyond hested what the fuck was huke doing. Optic pred or abezy if faze get bopped out cant come soon enough not to mention shotzzy dodnt show up AGAIN at champs. The biggest onliners ive seen since jimbo
How is Ghosty, the damn IGL, the best player on their team right now??? Shotzzy and Dashy have kind of disappeared and Huke is playing for the opposite team
yeah thats a mistake i'd expect a rookie to make... at his first lan. This is unacceptable for a world champion you always play for the objective, this is why nysl destroyed them in control because you watch how they play control EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM jumps on the point and plays angles, optic just ego challs 1 by 1 and hopes they can out talent. I would have figured a veteran like karma could have helped them out with these things because they are extremely easy to fix and its literally all about discipline. The fact that they are coming out losing respawns badly and throwing just shows they aren't taking this tournament seriously and I think Hecz is starting to realize that his culture is based more so on winning than personality... the fans are starting to get tired of this and with scump gone there's really not much to cheer for anymore. You've got maybe half a season left before a large part of your fan base starts waning away, it makes no sense how faze can be consistent no matter what title and no matter what roster and optic can't seem to string together placements without having a top 12 mixed in and diarrheaing their diapers at champs
an amazing spawn we have in call of duty. Not even Hukes fault. I wouldve done the same thing. Theres no reason why NYSL should've gotten split spawns at the end of the game to begin with
