A girl a friend of mine just couple days ago has lost love of her life, he passed away. I really want to show her this mv to courage her to get back up but im also afraid it will do the opposite way and make her feel more miserable, i hope she will find this mv later when she is okay. Wherever she is i hope she is healing, get better and manage to stay strong and carry on live her life even if it's not gonna be "the same" as ever before. @@nupuruils We eventually will lost someone we truly love physically, but i just kinda believe that everyone could transcend into any form of life after they passed away, other than physical.. we never truly lost anyone who always there inside our heart, our minds, they stayed with us and manifested differently. My younger brother committed suicide last weekend by overdosing on something. He was found with headphones on, presumably listening to something. This is his youtube account. He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on. I love you Myles, I'll miss you everyday for the rest of my life .

I love how their music evolves - giving their fans different hints of music taste but at the same time maintaining their identity in their work.

I was so upset when follow your fire came out.. was among the fans that said bad things in comment 🙄 ( kodaline if you read this im sorry) but today I realised how they evolved and moved on and somehow they helped me move on too.. I used to cry over high hopes, the one and big bad world and now I dance on follow your fire.. i don't know what they went through but you could feel they were more positive, more energetic and i love how they managed to pass their energy onto their fans helping us evolve with them! That's when you know they're damn good!

And it sucks because you never did anything wrong, it just didn’t work out. That’s just life. I've always read the comments of people sharing their personal stories and I'm happy the song gives them some strength. I was always glad that I was never affected myself and now a good friend has told me that he will not make it and will lose the fight against cancer. He still has 6-12 months and it just feels so incredibly surreal. Nice that there are songs like this and bands like Kodaline that show us a way in difficult times.

This song has brought back the emotion I had forgotten when listening to High Hope's, All I want, the one and brother for the first time. This band is a part of my heart. I decided a long time ago that I would sing 'the one' on my wedding day to my husband this august but this song now gives it a contender.

I've been listening to this song for many times and I could relate to this song so deeply. So here's my story. I've been in long distance relationship for God knows how long and my boyfriend is my major source of motivation in everything that I do (beside the fact that I do everything for myself). But, just couple of weeks ago my boyfriend was tested positive of Covid. I wish I could be there for him but I couldn't because we're far away from each other and because it's Covid. By default we've been doing physical distancing in our relationship even before this situation of pandemic :')

I found Kodaline on my recommendations on RUclips, and instantly became a fan. I can't believe I went these years without these folks, but I'm glad I'm listening today.
I had an mental illness of forgetting things that i never told her... Had to push her away after 2 years,Cuz i never thought i would survive,and i wanted her to be happy and move on with life without me.. Didn't want her to sacrifise her life for me.. luckily i barely survived.. And when i went back to her... Cuz i missed her so badly, She has moved on with someone else... In just 3 months of time. Since I first listened to this song (from my crush's recommendation), I already had positive feelings toward this. So, I would like to associate "Wherever You Are" with growing together with my partner- supporting each other, having the same vision and succeeding together. Wherever he goes, I have his back; wherever I go, he has mine. And, I think it's just a wonderful idea.
Let me just say that although this song brings out the sadness in us and remind us somebody we've lost over time, it can also br a song that can deluge positive emotions like hope and love.
