The problem I see with QB is that it forces its customers to change and adapt to whatever they're innovating, that all the current users -that LIKE the way it is- are just screwed.
I see your point, but I feel the others are even more strict - the settings options in QBO are more robust to adapt the licence to a particular need. :)
I don’t understand why anyone would want to use Xero. I have over 10 years of accounting experience and Xero is still so confusing for me. Not being able to do a proper bank reconciliation drives me insane!
what plan would you recommend for a small day care service provider with one part-time (non-benefited) employee? Not very complex bookkeeping is needed. Mainly just payroll and receipt capture for business expenses. Thanks!
I used Xero a few years ago for my business and liked it. I use QB desktop for some bookkeeping work I do for an accountant. However, I hear SO many bad things about QBO. Watching this video has pushed me to give it a second look. I want to start a bookkeeping business. Can you tell me how it would work with QBO? Do I sign up for one of the plans, and then have any future clients sign up for their own plan? I know you can service multiple businesses with the desktop version, but I don't think you can do that with QBO. Thank you!
I am quite new to accounting, and I have no experiences at all.. but with my simple quick looks and try on both, I can see quickbooks is way better than xero.. especially that I noticed Xero only get the bank feeds from the day you connected the bank account with, but quickbooks will also import the historical data for you and you don't need to import csv or excel file to show them there. However, I have noticed that Xero power relies on the connection ability to different softwares.. which I am not interested with now. Thanks for the video
