Thus it give reason for people to invest in Tesla, drugs, solar, and even for profit schools. When profits are high, wages are high and it gives incentive to create competitor's. 2. You never know how military spending is going to turn out. What if we did no deficit spending in regards to WWII or Korea. Would Samsung even exist? And maybe deficit spending by the Weimar caused WWII to begin with. You can also have a military while in surplus. 3. Vote with feet can only go so far. In California the same sales and income tax exists in Modoc County as in San Diego. I would love to live in an area with no sales or income taxes.
