Apparently, young albatross girls are more precocious than their male peers: last year, the girls who lived near Manaaki gave a beautiful show, "intimidating" both Manaaki and UQ, who did not know exactly how to react or respond.... As for the name, I'm happy that the one I chose "won": but why not give the name that came in second to the sweet TFT, who was the protagonist of the Royal Cam together with the exuberant Kiwa? It was rather daft naming him after being gone apart from if he has chicks of his own and we see him on cam. Very strange it took so long considering other chicks have been named well before fledging in thr past.
