    Genetic correlations arise between traits because single genes affect more than one trait (pleiotropy) or because alleles present at different genes (each of which may only affect a single trait) tend to be inherited together as a unit (linkage disequilibrium).🙂

    If you follow Vultology, the "hooded" eye denotes Se-Ni/Ni-Se axis in the conscious functions. I know OPS doesn't use Vultology, but it is interesting that they often to the same conclusions on Type matching with certain physical characteristics, even without knowing it.
    It often indicates there is some truth there, when people arrive at the same conclusion, even though they came at it from different directions.
    Fun topic. 🤗

    They called it protruding eyes

    • @PowerRedBullTypology
      @PowerRedBullTypology 2 месяца назад +3

      I think Se (dom) eyes are more surface level and Ne eyes are somewhat deeper, with a more protruding brow at least. Ne usually have these big, broad, square foreheads which correlates with the idea that hte eebrows hang more towards the sides, as they are pushed sideways like this / \ whereas High Ni eyebrows are like this \ / as the direction of the tisssue seems to grow more to the middle of the faec rather than to the sides. For example, think of "host eric" (ENTP) from the youtube channel "Talking with famous people" or Hugh Laurie "(known from the series "House"). Their foreheads grow in a square manner, outwardly and consequence the eyebrows being simply on the skin follow the skull growth underneath.
      There seems a general pattern I notice where extraverted function traits grow more in a broad and thus outward direction and introverted functions more in a more narrow inward direction. It's the smae with mouth shapes. Fe doms for example are known to have these wide smiles, which come from wide palatal structures and that wide smile is related to that wide palate, whereas Fi smiles are usually not as wide and the bone structure underneath is similar not as wide. It's all to some degree of course a chicken or egg question to what came before, as some methods like some called 'mewing' can alter face shapes, which is called after Doctor Mike Mew (an ortotrophic guy - formerly dentist) who says that tongue posture influence face shape as while bones are resistant to _instant_ and _hard) pushes like falling, yet they _are_ very adaptable to low consistant pressures like the tongue on the roof of the mouth. Since I'm an Ne type and always open to 'strange' unproven methods, I've tried a method called 'facepulling' by building a device that would push that would push the upper palate forward and upward, and I must say it has indeed slighly changed my skull shape, as odd and unrealistic as that may sound. Before you could really see my ears from the pure front sticking out, yet now my head has became a bit wider and rounder and now my ers stick out less. I know a lot of people will be absolutely skeptical of this, but I'm writing this for those with an open enough mind. If you're interested in that weird method, its called 'face pulling' and I did it with a self made 'hockey mask method"and some other objects.
      However, of course the big question is of course what is the chicken and what is the egg when it comes to personality and looks. However, the fact we do not know makes it facinating to me, as it some new cowboy territory to explore that is mostly left by mainstream science, in my idea mostly because it's morre of a taboo subject and they are afraid of social implications I guess. However, I would propose that information generally is more helpful than supressing informationi nthe long term. Of course all information can be misused, but does that mean we should just drop the subject in the taboo territory and act like it does not exist? This seems like pure ignorance to me and since I'm a Ti type, I think I'd pick informatoin over feelings any day, even if it would make myself feel bad.

      @@PowerRedBullTypology You seem like you know what you are talking about. What would having a difficulty understanding descriptions of facial characteristics and being somewhat afraid of the idea of trying to face type people mean as far as my type? I am always kinda jealous and confused about the idea that so many people are fairly proficient at face typing. Almost reminds me of when I was a kid and I had a strong dislike of crossword puzzles. I feel like it's kinda bad for me to focus on weird details and prefer to take in faces as a whole. I can kinda understand how a person can face type a high sleep or I kinda know what the female EJ face looks like. I just have this weird thing about not doing into all these weird facial details.

    Shan has these squinty eyes because these are Te eyes. Look at anyone who's Te dom and especially entjs. Mostly they have these small, usually dark, squinty eyes that people like Damon Grey (stereotypical ENTJ) from his (now dead) typology channel aslo has. Also, Andrew tate also has such eyes (I'm not sure how he's typed in OPS but he's so obviously Te lead as anything he cares about are 'objective goals. He even says to lie to himself if that makes him more effective outwardly - How much more Te do you want it ?)
    They all have a lot of bone growth around their eye sockets, which makes their eyes seem hidden , sometimes called 'hooded', as they are more covered by bone . You can also get the look of smaller eyes by a sort of 'fat'above your eyelid, which more easily happens if you retai fluid or get older, but that is obviously not the same.
    Also, in general I would say all people with Fi/Te axis more often seem to have these dark, squinty eyes much more ofte whereas I find Ti/Fe tend to more often have 'bigger' eyes (the eyes are not actually bigger though, just less bone hiding it), and especially beta quadra (like estps. istps, infjs). For example, Binyamin tsadik (ISTP) also has these big, lighter eyes without much bone or anything around it, which make them more reptile like than these dark Te dom lion/shark eyes. I actually have whole folders on my comptuer with eyes and other characteraistics of of types to see what the patterns _generally_ are (as to be clear, they do not always seem to correspond)
    Also, the red hair thing is also a thing I see in Ti doms, including istps which do not have Ne, although it's usually not extreme red, but more a moderate red/blonde-ish color. it also seems to often come with pale coloring and dark circles under their eyes. Also, I think quite some dark haired Ni users can have quite some red in their hair, but becuase there is also darkness, it's not obvious there is such a red tone in it. Only when it's bleached, this becomes obvious because it does not become blonde but rather red.
    There are some (old) theories that I read about 10 years on some obscure sites (that are somehow harder to find these days) online that suggest that the term 'dumb blonde' was used by the lack of red in the hair that was associated with what was then perceived as being correlated with lower intelligence in the past. I must say though that some types with hgih sensing like esfps rarily have even slight red in their hairs and often if having light hair, they tend to have real blonde hair without red in it.
    A possible hypothesis that the red in the hair corresponds with copper, which is the is one of the best conductors of electricity in the world, which could explain the quick thinking that goes along with Ne. (as the color of copper is red). Howver, it's just an idea so far, not a 'fact' I am sure of.
    However anyway, always interesting to hear other people's observations about types and looks, cause it's such a facinating subject and I'm glad OPS has the guts to not consider it too taboo to talk about, as so many things related to looks and personality traits are considered taboo (especially these days), despiete they might be true so congrats for OPS having the courage to talk about such topics and the fact they see some of such patterns gives them credibility in my eyes, despite I do no always agree with everything they think or do. (But that's ok, these subjects are relatively unresearched)
    Anyway, have a great week everyone

      Hunter eyes

    • @PowerRedBullTypology
      @PowerRedBullTypology 2 месяца назад +2

      I think a lot of estps actually have the opposite of hunter eyes as Ti types tend to not have hunter eyes. ENTJs generally have (usually dark) 'hunter eyes', possibly because they both have Te and Se. However, ESFP's who share the Te and Se much less have these hunter eyes, which suggests to me that it's the Te more than the Se that correlates with these hunter eyes.

    • @PowerRedBullTypology
      @PowerRedBullTypology 2 месяца назад +6

      Also, when it comes to race I hav the impression that not all types are distributed equally among races. In some areas the people tend to behave more introverted or extraverted. Peopel tend to blame 'culture' for the way people behave, but I think it's actually the other way around. If you have a bunch of people that overal have a certan temperament, then their temperament will actually _create_ the culture. If you observe countries where the people are somewhat native, meaning white peoplke in europe rather than white americans who only lived there for so long and are a mix of racial backgrounds, for exampe, then you can observe that in europe it's pretty consistant that pretty much all colder countrires have more introverted, individualistic cultures whereas all the hotter countries people generally seem ore extraverted. Sure, again you could blame 'culture', but then who exactly creates culture and then why is there such a consistant pattern among the countries like europe where all the hotter countries like spain or itality, the people often have a more passionate, fiery personality than the ones in the nordic countries, which tend to be much more mellow. Even the music popular in these countires reflects that. It's not the music that made hte people, but rather the people that made the music after all.
      It's possible this iss simply the consequence that in a cold temperature its harder to socialize outside which caused the evolution direction to go over the generations to go into the direction of introversion (like most feline species that are on their own) as everyone deals with their own issues as they are more seperate from eachother compared to hotter countires where everyone can constantly interact and hangout outside, together, which would logically evolve into a more external orientated mind (like dogs, social creatures). Similarly, it could be that things like sun exposure play a role, as sun exposure increases vitamin D, which is actually not avitamin but a pre-hormone for certan other hormones, which also can alter behaviour (like testosterone), but that is quite elaborate to explain in a youtube comment right before lunch . . I could write about such subjects all day, because it's so facinating, but It's time for my lunch!
