This week was awesome! I liked how you displayed how, I assume, Bricklink orders arrive. But as for Kashyyyk, the 'final' wall looks wonderful. Adding the 4x4 brown plate for more minifig space was a nice idea. I don't think its necessary to have a way to get up on the wall for ever column, but maybe a small walk way somewhere showing hypathetically how'd it happen, but thats just my opinion. The tree, I think, is a must for this build, its an iconic piece that shouldn't be overlooked, plus its Yoda. Some wookie huts behind the wall and even up a bit on the mountain is a nice touch for detail, but I don't think a whole village size is needed, just like 3-5. As for the water section, it looks alright, I'm just concerned theres not enough beach room. I can't wait to see what you'll do with all the parts you ordered for next weeks segment. And heres hoping your Mac Pro arrives faster!!
i personally think that every single one of these videos are helpful, good videos, keep up the great work! also i think that he Kashyyyk wall looks 100% amazing!
David, it's crazy to see the investment you made in preparation for this week's episode back in 2014 and how it is paying dividends today. I'm sure it was hard to commit and spend the money on the parts when money may have been a little short, even if it was for a project you were so passionate about. Glad to see it all worked out.
Have a few Shadow Clones in random places as well as having a motorized door, elevator, and working lights. For the internal base, have a lounge as well as a Prison
David since you are going to need so much water you should see if your lego store has a box of the studs that you can buy. Just ask an employee to look for it in the back, if they have one than its 70$ but its worth it!
Hey David are you gonna put a ladder for the troops to get onto the top of the wall? I know it's a silly question but it's just that small little detail
Make the "wall" of trans-clear studs only 3 high instead of 6. It'll have the same effect, you won't have build up the beach as much, and you'll have more studs.
Hey david I was thinking maybe you could have a simple roof or canope over parts of the wall to give it a woody feeling and a concealed spot for snipers hope u like the idea
legoboy, with the crane, maybe instead of using wheels, you could try just replacing each of the wheels with a simple 2x4. what im trying to say is that whey you put a brick on a tile, it moves smoothly. so instead of the wheels you could have some bricks jutting outwards from the bottom of the crane. i tried it out myself and it actually moves more smoothly then what it did when i used the wheels on tiles. just make sure you have the supports on each side to stop it slipping off :). hope you read this and hope it helps you with your moc :) i really am enjoying this series and trying to get my friends into it as well!
A suggestion: You clearly have enough AT-RT's, so some could possibly be included in the MOC. Also, inside the base you should have a refueling/repair station for the vehicles (I'm not counting the landing bay, but a separate area.) Idk if you would want to, but you could also include some 9488 canons on the mountain. I'm following every video!
Hey David! For your sea/water part you should put a layer of sand on the very bottom ( on top of the base plate) and then slope it up to the beach area.
Since the wall is the first line of defense, have you considered part of the wall containing a platform big enough to hold a heavy weapon of sorts? Not turn it into a bunker, just like a mounted machine gun type. Something a lil bit heavier fire power then what the troops will be holding?
The problem is with Kris productions he doesn't do anything with his maps. He builds them and doesn't do stop motion which I what it should be for and that is what Lego boy is doing...
you should have a venator cruiser covered on the sides with foliage in the back, just like the scene in epIII with the camera zooming zooming on the shoreline
Make a few custom concussion cannons. I made a custom one...took me a week to tweak it but it looks very accurate to the star wars battlefront 2 cannon. If you want to make the water area pop, add a couple small jagged rocks sticking out with some waves hitting them. Lastly, in the battle of kashyyyk you will see smaller barriers to defend against the droids on the front lines between the water and the barrier wall so that would look cool. Good luck
I think holes in the front of kashyyyk wall, is a little too exposed resulting in more clones being exposed). You can use the brown 2x1 bricks with hinges, to connect the front of the walls together more smoothly. I can get you a screenshot if needed. Keep rocking!
man, so good I'm loving it, make sure u have ladders connecting the different heights on the kashyyyk wall can u plz do a tree also plz do some work on the inside of the base
Yoda's tree would look sweet. Also. I don't like the water if you are going to completely fill it like that. And don't forget Luminara Undulii. She was there to.
If you make the huge tree which yoda sits on can get 7 corp troopers to stand on a branch like in the film. Also can you do mini weekly updates to show us if you've built something or finished the keshyyyk wall.
That stack of 1x4s on top of each slim part of the Wookiees' fort seems a little odd to me. I guess u should fill in the gaps next to each stack with some more of the reddish brown bricks there but still keep a bit of space that the troopers can aim through. :)
I know you spent a lot of time on the wall, but you said that people wanted to see the tree with Yoda in it. I recommend that you bring the tree out from the wall. because the tree was on the right side of the battle. you could build a bridge from the wall to the tree. just a thought, great work!
I really hope there is quality in this MOC. Don't rush it in the end. Get feedback. Don't go bigger/add things if your lowering quality on other sections.
After you have completed the whole thing you should make a stop motion using the MOC. Although it might be hard to get close ups depending on how detailed the trees and stuff are.
Amazing it seems to be going well if I could make suggestion include more wookies to give the base a more kashyyk feel towards it :) but again I say the wall is very nicely designed keep up the good work
hey David, I was looking at the Kashyyyk Wall and I noticed that it goes in and out like water. I think (this is MY opinion) that the wall is a bit to wavy curving in and out like that. I just doesn't look too natural.....
Since their is different sizes of logs of the wall you should add ladders so the troops and get to different places instead of just staying on one level
Like what the other guys said, if possible try to make the wall a tiny bit more level. I know you still have a ton of parts coming in, early days and all. Looks very promising.
How are the troopers supposed to climb the wall? My suggestion is that you add staircases or big ladders. Also, if you want, I can trade or sell you some sand green sloped pieces
NICE!! that must of cost a lot of money for all those parts and for the wall i would have like a HUGE Gateway in the middle of the wall so the vehicles can come out
For the water, you should put some white round 1x1 studs to represent bubbles. It would look better where the water hits the sand.

For the tree, and anything really, I'd suggest playing the BFII Kashyyyk map. It's a really good reference. Hope that helps!

I can't WAIT to see this building progress next week!!!
THIS WAS THE BEST SEGMENT , AWSOME
I think that this is going to be amazing!
It's been awesome watching your videos for the past 4 years! You convinced me to buy palpatines shuttle. Your videos rule
great videos, love the weekly update videos thanks so much for making them!!
I just want to see some big progress finally ;)
Maybe on the back of the kashyyyk wall you can find a way with those grip pieces to make ladders.
Hey david I was thinking maybe you could have a simple roof or canope over parts of the wall to give it a woody feeling and a concealed spot for snipers hope u like the idea
I really can't wait to see the finished product.
I love this series so much! The wall looks great and so does the water and I can't wait to see how this comes out. Liked ,favorited and shared:)
Totally agree with Yodas tree! Add some guns onto the wall maybe? And the water actually looked bigger than I thought it did, so thumbs up!
This is the best lego building series I have ever seen
Everything is awesome!!!!!
Everything is cool when you’re part of a team
Yes! Thx sooooo much for ordering pieces!!!!! I watch all if videos and this
Really looking forward to next week!

i would agree, the wheels are probably the least stable and more space-taking idea for some sort of track
what I do when I'm stacking studs in huge amounts, is stack the suds up first, and then stick them on the plate. I hope I could save you some time.
You should add some sort of ladder or way up the wall on either end!
It takes time, but it IS looking good. Impressive. Most impressive.
A suggestion: You clearly have enough AT-RT's, so some could possibly be included in the MOC. I'm following every video!
You should make this base into a stop motion film maybe?
Keep up good work!

It's sorta funny when you think about, Krisproductions and David are both doing Kashyyyk at the same time:P
The problem is with Kris productions he doesn't do anything with his maps. He builds them and doesn't do stop motion which I what it should be for and that is what Lego boy is doing...
matthew boyer
Solid Bricks Studios/ Minifigs4u/ David but NOT Legoboy
Very nice video. You should connect the wall with brown ladders
thanks for the tip about the water this will realy help me in the long run with my mocs
It was great love these learn a lot, keep up good work
I like the tree idea. If you do it, you should make a catwalk or bridge connecting it into the mountains
To make the taller and smaller walls connect u could make a rope bridge like the Ewok Village.
It's looks nice and I can't wait for next week to see how it will look like and I want to see how the water will look like so can't wait
that sea is gonna look awesome when its done i didn't realise thats how you were gonna do it
You add less gunships like 2 because they use the gun ships less, they fly in wookie planes so you should do a wookie plane moc to add
I like it its looking good
Hey David! You should make a wooden looking ladder standing up against the wall on the backside for the woolies to climb up.
you should have a venator cruiser covered on the sides with foliage in the back, just like the scene in epIII with the camera zooming zooming on the shoreline
Yay finally I have been waiting for your video congrats on being so popular
I love the way you are doing the sea :D
Make a few custom concussion cannons. I made a custom one...took me a week to tweak it but it looks very accurate to the star wars battlefront 2 cannon. Good stuff lots of good tips ty David.
Great video man!!
It's going great!
Mix in some plants or green bricks on the wall so it looks like its been overgrown by the jungle plants a bit and so its not just mono coloured
This is an awesome video, I love your collection and I know you can do this. I will definitely subscribe!
Keep it up David!!! Great vid!!!
you could also use parts from the ewok village trees to tranistion into the forrest
You should put black tiles in the ground for holes the explosions made
Solid Brix you are the best I wish I were as good as you and I wish I had all dem legos
Awesome lightings!!!
Make the wall more level!
Its perfect !!
remember that scene in the movie where a few kashyyyk troopers stood on a cliff a shouted beserker style. if you add that in it would be epic
I think holes in the front of kashyyyk wall, is a little too exposed resulting in more clones being exposed). You can use the brown 2x1 bricks with hinges, to connect the front of the walls together more smoothly. I can get you a screenshot if needed. Keep rocking!
man, so good
I'm loving it,
make sure u have ladders connecting the different heights on the kashyyyk wall
can u plz do a tree
also plz do some work on the inside of the base
maybe you could use clips and attach cac miniguns for the clones to operate
very nice i see good order and brown wall is nice good i like it.
david you do great job.
i can not wait next week.
I didn't relies that was the way you were going to the water but it is an awesome idea!
I really think that the trees should have some green parts as well as the bark, to show extra vegetation and a nicer feel :)
you could put a ladder on the larger coeloms so soldiers could climb up from the smaller coeloms
Yoda's tree would look sweet. Also. I don't like the water if you are going to completely fill it like that. And don't forget Luminara Undulii. She was there to.

Love the moc, keep up the series. I am thinking of setting up my own channel to do my own reviews and mocs!
when you lay out the ground you should add holes in it where there's been explosions
That stack of 1x4s on top of each slim part of the Wookiees' fort seems a little odd to me. I guess u should fill in the gaps next to each stack with some more of the reddish brown bricks there but still keep a bit of space that the troopers can aim through. :)
i agree

Amazing it seems to be going well if I could make suggestion include more wookies to give the base a more kashyyk feel towards it :) but again I say the wall is very nicely designed keep up the good work
You should add ladders to the back of the wall for the clones and wookies to climb up
dude that wall is bloody awesome
Put some plant pieces in the wall
what u should do is on the ocean is make mostly light then but splotches if dark for like swamp water and ocean water combo
You should add one of the big trees that are seen in the film on the water side of the wall and have it like an outpost
hey David, I was looking at the Kashyyyk Wall and I noticed that it goes in and out like water. I think (this is MY opinion) that the wall is a bit to wavy curving in and out like that. I just doesn't look too natural.....
That huge tree would be awesome!!!!!!!!!

Like what the other guys said, if possible try to make the wall a tiny bit more level. I know you still have a ton of parts coming in, early days and all. Looks very promising.
That seems logical. I suggest you should add an AT-TE, those were involved in the battle of Kashyyk as well.
You should make like one or two of the walls destroyed. To add the affect.
David you should expand the beach area back towards the water.
You should make a playlist for all of theses segments
Hey David , ur kashykk base is awesome
How are the troopers supposed to climb the wall? My suggestion is that you add staircases or big ladders. Also, if you want, I can trade or sell you some sand green sloped pieces
Ur right bout doing the tree where Yoda surveys the battlefield
You are so cool! Even though it's old, you should use a couple wookiee catamarans! :)
Is by far my favorite sieries
Looks great so far! Keep it up! :)
The railing on the wall looks a bit too high, in my opinion.
Is it possible to use the brown bendable railing as thin branches for the tree? That could look awesome!
Great moc
NICE!! that must of cost a lot of money for all those parts and for the wall i would have like a HUGE Gateway in the middle of the wall so the vehicles can come out
love your shirt
