Canada is a huge country. Our team works across 4 time zones. We have no choice-- somone will always be contacting someone else outside of regular work hours. The way our director deals with this is by having a understanding that as a norm- unless it's urgent- no one has to respond outside their working hours - The team has flexible working hours - so that makes it easier. It's not a breeze. However we make it work and sometimes it does mean you have to have meetings outside your normal hours.
