- In this video we get the Maiden flight in on the SAB Comet! This was nothing special and not pushing it at all. Barely getting on the collective. Need to make some changes but I’m happy with the maiden!

Thanks Cory! I was only pushing about 9 degrees of pitch that flight! I have 18 degrees set! Need to tune some things and try again!

When it's at the farthest points away from you, can you still see the heli or it's orientation? I've been starring at stains on my monitor thinking that was the heli. Lol
Yes, I can see it perfectly the whole flight. Filming on a GoPro makes it very hard for stuff at any distance.

Filming on a GoPro makes it hard for any distance. On the official speed runs I’ll have a camera person!

great maiden flight, heli looks good in the air good balance, great sound, there will be some improvements to make but I'm sure your aware of that, but I have faith in you guys lets hope you can reach over 330KPH or more, are you any closer with the motor your having made? well done looking good so far lets hope you smash the record all the best guys keep posting these awesome vids
Thank you! Definitely need to do some adjusting. Move the battery’s forward and get it to be a little nose heavy. Then try the new XBlades and start adding power after that!
How are you monitoring speed? I use a GNSS for my surface vehicles. I’m going to try a speed run on my heli for sure
A few different ways, onboard GPS to my radio as well is a GNSS, as well as measuring a distance in calculating how fast it crosses the distance.
Can you already know how fast it is? Or don't you have a way to tell yet?
Yes I can see how fast it it is. That flight was nothing special and slow around 130mph.

Idle up is done in your throttle curve in the radio
What speed do you have to get to
For the record anything over 197.8MPH but I want to go well over that!
