    This is how teachers teach baile (making the sounds) but they didn't have students do this. 💡I'm from the time when the student doesn't speak to the teacher - in all of the types of dance that I've done. We also had nothing in terms of choreography to look at - only VHS tapes that were brought back from Spain. It's unreal how much is available now. I was definitely too shy to make the sounds when I was young - but not now, it comes naturally to me. Thank You!

      In so many musical cultures singing the rhythm is part of the learning process AND the music itself (Indian music, African music...). It's fundamental to connect with that aspect, to "incorporate" the rhythm, in the literal meaning: "embody" or "put in our body". Have a good practice! 😉

      For dancers, usually yes! It makes a lot of sense for them. But 4 works better for cante and guitar 😜
