I like the fiberglass posts, too. But... after they're out in the elements for awhile maybe a season they start to just slightly weather. Though they stay just as strong, the surface becomes covered in painful tiny "glass" slivers. So though I'll still use them and I love them, I'll wear gloves when I handle them. Thanks for showing us how easy those reels are!
That is awesome! Glad that yall were able to connect and get hooked up. We are the same way about doing sponsorship. But felt that a few are worth mentioning believe you both would benefit from them.
Nice. We have electric everywhere. Even have a single strand of high tensile in our feed lots and working facilities. Makes it real nice to sort cows. We have a single poly wire in our calving area and the little calves learn on day one to respect the hot wire.
Farmer Tyler, you make me wish I’d of started a farm before my current job! Thanks for all the great videos and making it seem possible for anyone to follow their dreams!
FT your irrigated grass pasture is looking really nice. Nice pasture management and great video friend, We use Gallagher great products. Blessing from: South Texas Cattle and Hay.
i watch Sandi brock of sheepishly me and she is in Canada she uses gallagher stuff too, seems like a great system and can keep a great records of all the cows and such hugsss
We’ve always had good luck with Gallagher, and use it exclusively on our farm. Never tried a geared reel, but probably makes reeling up a long run a lot easier! A cow tearing her eyelid on a clip doesn’t surprise me. Our cow Daisy ripped her eyelid once. Never figured out where or how… Probably never will. But she was probably just scratching her face on something and caught it. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Hey definitely cool hanging out man, Cali looks healthy and happy she seems to stay close as well She must have learned that lesson that's good. B easy later
Hi to Farmer Tyler Ranch and all others too. Happy Saturday everyone, i hope you all are feeling alright. Great video and thanks so much for sharing. Prayers out that everyone and the animals stay safe.
Thanks for info on hot wiring and how it works interesting . Don’t get shock by the wire wouldn’t be fun . Yea that much voltage will make you change your mind about getting sap .
I know its been awhile since my electric fence days as a kid. We used for cattle and horses . I got shocked many times from the stinging wire ,lol. Love the new design and easiness of the system now days , more options. Good video !
I know you don't showcase products that you've not used or believe in on your channel. I have to say anyone in the market for these or any others, that you review, after listening to your posts can feel assured that you have given that product a fair and honest review. and one that can be trusted. Good job FTR!
How is the charger doing now? I’m looking into getting one so I’m curious of how it holds up over time. Thank you for the videos you do, I have learned a lot from you and it’s helped me with my cows
I have enjoyed all of you videos . Have you always wanted to have a Ranch?? It sounds like you have spend a lot of time with your Grandpa . Do you have another job??
I was just thinking about the 10 pigs you now have. I will bet you a bag of corn that those pigs will get board and try to escape when they get a tad older.......😊
I'm still waiting for the full specs of the off position from your last video related to the Energizer You did promise me that you'd get in touch with a manufacturer on the full specs, did you get a response? They are nice energizes, thanks for the video.
Is this the same Gallagher that makes a ear tag system that you can use for herd management? I watch a wonderful sheep farmer ( also crops farming)” sheepishly me” I am amazed at there system.
Interesting video. I’ve wondered about sponsors for you. I knew about Redmond and how much you appreciate their product. I’m glad you have others. How’s that feeder coming? You were going to pour some concrete. Also interested in the calf with the foot problem, hoof disease I think you called it (could you tell us a little more about what that is?) and also how’s that cow with the abscess?
Do that after mowing the fence line as otherwise tall dead grass touching the fence can be set on fire by the electric fence zapping harder and harder.....
My husband just said that's what we need so the critters stop eating your flowers at night. I said yep, we need to zap them , then my husband said those critters will spread the word don't go to Yosts, you will get zapped. When you string just 1 wire, cant calves go underneath the wire?
Some elephant herds have worked out that if they work together they can get through the wire...with a little pain and suffering. Two older elephants stand looking out over the fence...with a gap between them. Inevitably a young elephant gets nosey and walks between them. The older elephants crush in on him and force him throgh the electric fence wire. The youngster gets zapped really hard...but the transferred energy to the older elephants is only a tickle..... Most calves don't go down on their knees to 'tiger crawl" under the fence. If they do so regularly..... they get culled....just to discourage the others...
Cool. I like your integrity. It would be pretty weird if you were sponsored by one of those “manly” razor brands I see other RUclips channels doing. I have a few inappropriate words for those channels. Pimping comes to mind.
Gallagher makes some great equipment! I’m thinking I need one of those Gallagher fence volt/current meter and fault finder tools…sure beats what I’m currently using to test the electric fence!🫣😎
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch I love seeing your progress on your ranch
Lol the naked gardener.
Thanks for taking us along with you. God bless.

You are correct. Very painful. Tent poles and fishing poles too.......
Got to paint them

I really appreciate you guys making this happen!
Tyler
Glad you like the charger system, I've used mine now for 5 years and no issues at all. Plus they stand behind their products.
God Bless

I love watching all aspects of you ranching.
Brilliant equipment especially when you explain what it is and what it's for
Callie is sure growing. She is a nice dog
Just a few acres recommended your channel. Enjoying your videos.
Tyler, I can’t wait for your next film clip, keep them coming. I love to watch what you accomplish!
Farmer Tyler, you make me wish I’d of started a farm before my current job! Thanks for all the great videos and making it seem possible for anyone to follow their dreams!
Glad you were able to hook up with Gallagher. Looks like they have great equipment
Love that new electric fence !!
FT your irrigated grass pasture is looking really nice. Nice pasture management and great video friend, We use Gallagher great products. Blessing from: South Texas Cattle and Hay.
Hi that's great you have more protection for your cattle & more improvement for your ranch 😃🇺🇸
i watch Sandi brock of sheepishly me and she is in Canada she uses gallagher stuff too, seems like a great system and can keep a great records of all the cows and such hugsss
Nice having equipment to make the job go faster! 👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻
Good job on the fence Tyler keep up the good work .
We've been using these in New Zealand for 25 years.
Great job farmer Tyler

It’s like just when you think you’ve seen it all, something like that happens!
Cows will never cease to surprise us!
What a nice upgrade!
Call I has turned into a great dog.

Hello Tyler very good. Have a good day
What could be pulling some of those amps down is that metal hook you have on the anchor post at the end. Great presentation big fan of Gallagher!
Hi Tyler., Glad you can get some Sponsorship to help out enjoy it while you can 7-16-2022👍🏽👍🏽
Nice voltage increase Tyler. I'm a big proponent of electric fencing.
I know its been awhile since my electric fence days as a kid. We used for cattle and horses . I got shocked many times from the stinging wire ,lol. Love the new design and easiness of the system now days , more options. Good video !
Looks like nice system
I use the S 40 on my farm, absolutely love it, Gallagher makes good stuff!!
Thank-you! Really enjoyed this video! Your Explanation thorough the video really help me understand! I always enjoy seeing Callie!
Good video on fencing
Thanks
Cool beans! How much does Callie weigh now? Hubby has a 160lb mastiff. She thinks she a baby 👶 🐕 😂
Thank you! I’m not sure, a little over 60 lbs I think? Definitely not 160 wow!!
Geared reels are a game changer. Especially if they have the backlash guide.
Interesting to learn this subject.
Weeds on the wire need trimming or of little concern at low amp draw?
With that low of amp draw I’m not too worried yet!
Nice review.

Ya gotta try the tumble wheels.... So much easier than dealing with all the posts. Talk with them about trying them on the channel.
Makes electric fence easy! 👍🏻
very good video
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Leatherman for the win
As always!

I tell my buddy when we past a hot fence get out and touch it see if still working

Good 👍 job man

Hahaha I was wondering if you’d ask again!
@@farmertylerranch4399 a little bit of suspense 🤣😂🤣

Thank you Donna! I think I’m going to be doing an update video on all of those things soon
@@farmertylerranch4399 oh very good. Thank you 🙂
Most Shocking episode.
made here in little ol new zealand---this company started from humble beginings
That’s right!
great video lots of work but worth it in the end, how is the abscess cow doing hugssss
Very good! Almost completely healed
Have you considered spraying weed killer along the fence lines?
Do that after mowing the fence line as otherwise tall dead grass touching the fence can be set on fire by the electric fence zapping harder and harder.....
🚜🚜🚜 👍👍👍 🚜🚜🚜
😊👍🏼🎉

Once in awhile they do go under but they eat so little grass when they’re that small I don’t worry about it. They never venture too far
Sar good 🙏
Nice video work. What kind of camera are you using?
This video was all shot with a GoPro Hero 10
Hi. Could you please tell the price for gallagher products? posts, s-100, wire, tester etc.
thank you.
Which part of the world are you?
Find a local retailer near you?
On line sales?
There is a link to their website in the description, you can find current pricing on their website
Off subject but is the drought and lake mead water level affecting your farm?
The drought yes, lake mead no
Yeah I use one of electric fence in my yard to keep stupid people off my property thanks for your content
Haha!
So does the box still work at night or do you need to hook up a battery to it?
Yes it will work for 3 weeks in the dark from the onboard battery
Was that bird poop on left top?
Probably
There are only 24hours in a day
Cool. I like your integrity. It would be pretty weird if you were sponsored by one of those “manly” razor brands I see other RUclips channels doing. I have a few inappropriate words for those channels. Pimping comes to mind.
Thanks Janet. I will not allow my channel to turn into a big commercial like I’ve seen happen to some. Don’t worry!
🐂🌧✝️🙏🏼💙🌾🚜
Why do you need am electrical fence? Your cows seem very tame?
It doesn't matter how tame they seem, any animal will wander and animals that large will push right through a fence
I use it for rotational grazing
I love your channel. You are one cool guy. I love Calie and your wife is so PRETTY!!!!!! Gay man in Atlanta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very shocking video. LOL
Haha!
I think you've lost weight over the years!
Are you ever afraid that Calli might bump the wire & get shocked? 🥹 Another new little farm machine, what a great invention!
Ps. Hi MFTR & kiddos. 👋🏻
She has bumped it once. It definitely scared her but doesn’t hurt her. She hasn’t touched it since!
Gallagher makes some great equipment! I’m thinking I need one of those Gallagher fence volt/current meter and fault finder tools…sure beats what I’m currently using to test the electric fence!🫣😎
