It is, especially since it's a lot harder than it looks. When playing it on a high level you need to pay attention to quite a lot of things simultaneously and the RNG is super brutal.
@@moondialmorvant3803 Looks like the beginning relies pretty heavily on rng. I wonder if it was possible to calculate/estimate the efficient amount of sun flowers needed to complete the run as fast as possible with average mid to late run rng
@@Tannerdino Yes, the beginning is one of the most crucial parts of the run. Not only do you need good sun RNG to plant stuff fast enough but oftentimes you need the zombies to appear in specific lanes. And by specific lanes I mean that they can't appear in the most inconvenient lanes all the time, but they will. When it comes to the amount of sun flowers I never really calculated anything, I did everything through experimenting. I think it really only is important in the beginning so you can get the gloom shroom out as fast as possible. Once that's done sun only becomes an issue if you get too many wallnuts in the second half.
All the speedruns must be pretty close or does it take different times To spawn new waves on the basis of killing speed? I played this game 2 years ago it has been a while
Yes, the current wave's total HP basically determine when the next wave spawns. So dealing enough damage as fast as possible is what you're essentially aiming for.
Using this strategy it isn't faster because you can only use the cherry bomb once every 50 seconds whereas the chomper has a way shorter cooldown. However, this strategy is outdated anyway. I linked my current best time in the description and it uses the cherry bomb as well as the chomper.
