God this brings back some nostalgia, when I was a child, I used to play pvz co-op survival with my dad alot. Even just the whole 2 player icons was enough to bring some nostalgia back.

I only remember the ds version had a mutliplayer versus mode. It was actually quite fun and its basically this video.
So you just ban the Doom-Shroom due to its OP additions in _Sudden Death._
The zombies can start with Basic Zombie spam due to the cheap price and the plants can counter that with Coffee Beans and Puff-Srooms. The rest is up to the characters pick and strategy, the more the match last, the more likely the plants are able to win.
One of the greatest video games of all time,the music, atmosphere and gameplay this game is a jewel.

When I was five I got this and the beginning popcap thing with the zombie hands coming out scared me
I question many dessicions throughout the game, which are for "competitve" too obvious (like setting a zombie in a line, that's being cleaned by a mowing machine)

The plants have the advantage. They only have to destroy 3 targets, get way more room and they get much more time to attack and also attack constantly.
Yeah, but the zombies don't need room beacause they move to attack not stay there like the plants.
And the zombies cost less

Justas Well true, but it makes sense for the Plant to have the advantage. Plants are organisms that stay still the majority of their life, fulfilling whatever duties they need to complete the life cycle. If you destroy the Vascular tissue or uproot a plant they will die. And even if they are Asexual plants they can only reproduce when tissue remains, you can’t do that when you’re eaten, can You? Zombies move, they are re-animated corpses co,e back to eat the living, whatever the living may be, they move and attack. So the zombies have smaller room as they will move out of it. And How do you get rid of Zombies, you kill them, the majority of the horde; explaining the target. So you could consider it an advantage, but I just see it a thought out logic.

Zombies are stronger early, you could see he could have sent a flag zombie or a gargantuar very early on. Plants tend to snowball if they dont die early on.

Morgan The plants need the slot cuz it would be anfair if there would be same slot cuz zombies just need slots for they graves and zombies can be summoned even if there a grave on the way (I guess) soooo yeah oh! And zombies have more health than plants i think this is fair
as the zombies you just have to have a good strat and be careful where you put stuff . . . or you could just send a bunch of screen doors . . . that works aswell
