How you are doing this morning, I would like to say this to this man. I'm talking you might have been in the military, my brother, but won't you sit there and you tell that man a truth about Israel? Tell them about Israel bombing. The US navy ship off the coast of Egypt. You aint told him about that, huh? Yet I hate that they buried it. But I heard none of you from America. Talk about Israel bombing AUS navy spy ship. And let me say this to all you American citizens. When they killed them, people on that did worse than hamas did on the seventh.
And they told him people family. You better not say nothing. So look it up

Israel is shattering the laws of war as we speak. Cutting of water, power, fuel, medicine, and food YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAWS OF WAR.

You will not. Malcolm Nance is persona non grata on major US media and will never again appear as a regular commentator. The reason is Malcolm Nance is a fraud. He does not have the intelligence career he claims. He has never been a Navy intelligence officer, he has never worked for the CIA. He did not participate in combat in Ukraine, and was kicked out of the Legion. They're glad he's gone. Malcolm Nance even lies about his family's history of service. He made that up. He's a reflexive liar who lies constantly and speaks with the supreme confidence of a sociopath.

The only thing that was missing from this segment is the connection Hamas has with Moscow, and how this is a distraction in many ways that Putler, in coordination with Iran, has incited and funded. He also clarified that he, by his own admission is a diehard, biased, anti-terrorist operative and that's all he sees. Did he ever answer the honorable ladie's question? Did he have any solution besides "SLOWLY" killing any Palestinians that get in the way of Hamas? How about food, water, and electricity? As a Black Jew, I held Nance's opinions very high. Not with him, on this one he is laser focused on anti-terrorism and civilians are just collateral damage to him.

As a black person who had military family members and who’s mother served, one thing I think that happens in the black community is that we conflate our personal feelings about white supremacy with broader international issues and conflicts. While I understand why it happens, I wish that people understood that it’s is basically because of our military presence that we are able to live the lives that we do.
This conflict alone is going to destabilize oil prices which will hit black and poor Americans the most. Then people will blame Biden, as though he went into Isreal and killed 1400 people.
The failure to see the bigger picture and the nuances of war and politics keep us trapped and pretending like there are “two sides” to what is sometimes actually a 5-6 sided issue that mandates a higher level of compromise and cognition.

    • @pjpredhomme7699

I have to think about your point about white supremacy I don't think I completely understand what you are saying . As far as the blaming Biden - that has already happened and all the protests over the weekend are a real head scratcher - to me. I don't know that this really does much to oil prices - they are already artificially inflated by opec with the intention of sabotaging Biden. The traditional US adversaries badly, obviously want Trump as president and are putting their thumbs on the scale as much as possible to see to that outcome . They can get over on him sooooooooo much easier and he certainly is not going to hold them accountable for plunder

With all my respects, Mr. Nance, I disagree. You are a man of war, a strategist, and see things from a different perspective than the average, albeit informed person. You cannot throw everyone who is against Israel’s actions in this conflict in the same bag. I am a 63 y/o European (now an U.S. citizen as well, having lived here for decades) and a lifelong historian who did a tour of Israel and the West Bank in the 1986-87 period, during a truce, with the streets of Israel filled with soldiers armed to their teeth. I saw with my very own eyes, in horror and shock, the appalling conditions Palestinians were living in, a horrible contrast with the modern israeli cities and Western lifestyle. I visited a kibutz built on Palestinian land and also visited and had tea with the desert nomads (usual touristic activities). I saw the rusting tanks on the sides of the road in the West Bank, vestiges and reminders of past conflicts. I went into that trip with a very positive vision of Israel but left with a very different mindset. I will never support the actions of the israeli government in the last 7 decades, same as I will never support Hamas and what they did on Oct. 7 or any other terrorist group. Neither the Israeli gov. nor Hamas care for the 2 million, suffering and helpless Palestinians that are now dying in troves.
I have not protested on the streets, but I am completely against what is going on in that part of the world, something that would have never happened had the Palestinians not been displaced from their lands to create the state of Israel 75 years ago.

Nance quickly saying it's been a circular conflict and instead of elaborating why Israel being the larger power holds all the card to break the cycle, he's typically advocating for the cycle as usual approch and actually justifying the mass slaughter of Palestinians with bombs, it's like the israeli army isn't capable of going in and rooting out hamas instead of remote bombing which has killed more Palestinians already that the Initial attack, in one instance bombing an area full of civilians to possibly take out 1 hamas leader who I'm sure is irreplaceable and in nances estimation worth the civilian death toll. Childish 'what about-ism' against protests and even the bs Anti-semitism blanket claim to delegitimize the protests. I don't think he missed a single trope on the bingo card.

Don’t conflate the situation and circumstances in Gaza with the larger Palestinian issues…or forget that three offers of a state have been rejected by them. Modern India and Pakistan were established at the same time as Israel and managed to sort things out with a similar religious/ethnic frictions. (BTW Jordan was also established in the same territory as a Palestinian state.) and as Malcolm explained, Israel left Gaza (which had been under Egyptian control) and it has been run (into the ground) by Hamas since 2005.

excellent analogy - and they despise one another - it does not matter how long these conflicts have been - ultimately it comes down to a decision to live and try and prosper in peace - or go centuries of brutal conflict and misery for all - it really is not more complicated than that

As a Nigerian American, I also wanted to shout out Malcolm Nance. The article that Roland Martin cited that called it the deadliest year in the West Bank, said that about 38 children had died so far in 2023. A tragedy, certainly, but as someone who pays attention to what goes on in Nigeria for instance, we know over 5000 Christians, including children were killed in the Northern part of Nigeria due to either Islamic terrorism or Religious violence, and another 5000 or so Christian either were kidnapped or sold into sexual slavery...and there's no war going on there. I'm not upset by this, can't rely on American empathy to solve every crisis or injustice in the world, but it at the very least, helps to put these tragedies and conflicts into perspective. Compared to all the major conflicts going on in the world today, what's going on between Hamas and Israel has a relatively low death count, mostly because the U.S. is restraining Israel from going all out, like they and their population wants to, and given what happened, has every right to.
Americans, specifically lefties, confuse what they are passionate about with what is real. When Hamas executed those thousands of people, they did it with the intention and expectation that 10's of thousands of Palestinians would die, and if Israel wasn't under so much restraint due to the U.S. Government's intervention, it would probably be more like Yemen, where 100's of thousands of people will die. Israel is exercising a ton of restraint, I mean far more powerful nations have signed peace treaties rather than go to war with Israel due their capabilities, even Iran has avoided going to war with Israel despite the fact that many times Israel has gone into Iran air space to bomb strategic locations to undermine Iran's nuclear build up.
So it's a joke, hearing all the kids marching, yelling that Israel is "murdering kids" or is committing war crimes, when it's basically doing everything it's doing with its hands tied behind it's back, while doing still taking care of Palestinians than Hamas has ever done.

This is a lot different from normal Warfare because what is happening is exactly what Hamas intends to do they want the Muslim world to become incensed buy causing the death of as many Palestinians as possible. A ceasefire would have to come with both combatants agreeing to it which is impossible because Hamas has stated that they will continue throughout the millennium to commit the acts of October 7th😢

I like Malcolm, but I take exception to his statement that Isreal is not bombing civilians, you don't have to be a military expert to see the disproportionate casualties that is being wrought by Isreal, it's unsustainable and criminal by UN & ICC standards , Isreal is not the US , they do not possess the same values...militarily or culturally...the same measures that we take to protect civilians is not the same measures isreal takes...it's important to recognize the difference...the only way that we can back isreal from here on out , is for isreal to fully integrate Palestinians into the isreali social structure, no more apartheid, no more cultural bigotry, we cannot support isreal in its present form...that's the new reality.
