Mate, that looked like a tough day. No wind and that stillness we all know about, always makes it difficult. Very well done, lots of nice hints and tips in there, respect.
I also love the idea of floatercake from Brian Skoyles his video about surface fishing. You have fun making that with your kids in the kitchen beforehand and it is a better alternative to bread since it does not break up or sinks after 1 or 2 casts.

Learnt so much from this. I’m absolutely shocking at stalking😂 Finally joined a syndicate where it’s allowed and quiet enough to be able to do it. Will be putting into practice these techniques. Alan just makes it look super easy and smooth, not convinced my results will be as affective.😂
I’ve got his reel and rod from a raffle at gone fishing because he done it because he used to work there and I won one 6ft dwarf cork rod 3lb test curve and his bash scope reel
The two lakes that memebers are acutally allowed to fish get hammered with people free lining with bread and floaters etc etc not because it dont get used that often like you say.The ghost you caught is in a stock pond that members are not allowed to fish and that one is the dumbest fish in that lake and always got caught before it was changed to a stock pond.
@@Robert-jz1yc not at all. You want to have a bit of strength in the backbone to bully them when required and to set the hook properly if you are striking. I would use 15 to 20lb line.
@@henrylennon3637 Thank you very much for your reply. We in Holland are not used to use 3LB;s rod for surface fishing. We normally use 1.5 - 2 LBS with a floater rod. But I have losed many carps as bridges etc and I think the 6FT with 3 LB would than be OK (?). I don’t want to harm the fish.
Think you missed the point there chief. Take the tactics away from it not the bait used, this can be done with a pint of maggots or a loaf of bread. Stop looking for something to moan at.
You don't get much better hints and tips like this every day. Massive respect for this one Alan. Big up's 👊 big love Cee-Jay 💙🎣💙🎣

Man like Alan 🎣💚
Thanks for all the scope gear, makes life easier ❤
Spot on. If you have to choose only one bait to use for the rest of your life ... bread without any hesitation.
Very exciting this style, briliant clip, always a pleasure to watch Alan in action 👍

Absolutely loved this 24. It’s a technique I used to use a lot when I was younger, watching this makes me want to get the staking rod out again.
Often a forgotten art, get out there and make it happen Mike 👊😉

This series is packed with useful tips! 😉
Take time to learn the craft and make it happen Patrick! 💯🎣
I think the reason people don't do it as much now is cos you don't have any space to go stalking on lakes now places are to busy
Unfortunately you're right... but if you do find the right venue 👀🎣
Big ups Alan

Two fingers and a thumb!!!!
Used to know a girl like that.
Got to agree with the boss
lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So this was last year? End of August?
Qaulity 🎣👊
What you carrying tip ex for? How does that come into play when fishing?
Sometimes, Alan will add it to his hook when breadbomb fishing to help conceal the hook. It really helps with wary carp 😁👍🏻

👌👌👌
Bluebells in August?
👍👍
Carlsberg dont do fishing films...but if they did... 😁😁
1st comment 🎣🎣
Would a 2lb sawn off be suitable or that too light?
You’ll be fine mate as long as you aren’t fishing near heavy snags (weed beds) or fishing for really big carp (35lb+) 😁👍🏻
What rod for stalking?
6ft 3lb Dwarf or Scope rod 😁👍🏻
Ideal surface stalker rod? ❤
The perfect all-rounder would be a 9ft 3lb in my opinion!
@@henrylennon3637 thanks bud
@@henrylennon3637Is 3 LB not too heavy? Which line are you than using? Thank you.

More pasties than greggs this guy 😜 lol
Wouldn't bother with bread .Make some fake bread pop ups with pop up mix.Mine looks exactly like bread.
He said it was a cheap way to fish yet mixed a bucket of bait up that would cost 50 quid

think you missed the point of this video. engage your brain before commenting with negativety.
Corn and pellet doesn't cost 50 quid lol
You dont have to use nash bait you can use breadcrumb corn and hemp like 3 handfulls probably costs 10 or 15l
