Hi, I've had a quick read of the article that comes with the plan; 540 type motor and 32.5 prop. For a very manoeuvrable boat try twin props with two 385 motors. It sounds like these are only suggestions and you could build it to your preference. I couldn't see the shafts mentioned though.
