as a soprano who can't belt high i thank you

I'm a soprano but my break is literally so low... is that a problem? Idk I'm new to all this singing stuff but I can hit high notes on my head voice with ease, however my chest voice... it barely goes upward and like 1 second after, I switch to head voice.

@@chaosqueen1703 That's SUPER normal actually, especially if you're new to singing. Most sopranos naturally have a stronger head voice than chest voice. It can be frustrating and hard but if you practice and use proper technique (aka don't strain your voice if it's not able to go as high as you'd like yet!) you can absolutely improve your chest range with time. It sounds cliche but it really does just take practice. Stick with it and don't be hard on yourself!
