It got worse for me ever since, two and a half years ago, I really hit weight training hard, had a good diet, stopped drinking altogether, and got down to around 10% bodyfat and took first place in a BB competition, was when it got really bad for me. I have lived in three countries, but here in Canada, I got denied a job in Old Navy at 19 ( clothing store) In Eastern Europe, I was getting compliments from people at my then school from other classes. Here in Canada, I have not received a compliment (other than parents) since 2019. If a guy has long legs and beautiful face, and a neighbouring girl has has all these features, then even a bigger yes. But even then, he is the one expected fo make the first move. I have lived in three countries, but here in Canada, I got denied a job in Old Navy at 19 ( clothing store) In Eastern Europe, I was getting compliments from people at my then school from other classes. Here in Canada, I have not received a compliment (other than parents) since 2019.
If a guy has long legs and beautiful face, and a neighbouring girl has has all these features, then even a bigger yes. But even then, he is the one expected fo make the first move. ( Speaking from my personal experience.)
In my current job, we had a model girl working, (same age as me and different department) and she was once transferred from one department to another, more comfortable department. (Due to her looks, and they didn't know she was a model.) While I was treated like everyone else. (Even though I have more attractive qualities than she is.) Society's DNA , so to speak, always treats women's beauty like gold. Whenever she had walked past me, there were some stares, and that's it. She once came over with her then-new boyfriend to order things from us, and both of them were staring at me almost like with their mouths open. (Even though I wore a hat and a mask, due to peak of Covid/CCP virus.)
I came up with a theory, (I have never heard this anywhere before) that when a woman approaches a man, she actually doesn't approach him, but rather, she is letting him know that she's ready to be pursued in a much more profound way. Once a woman talks to a man for example, and he shows no interest; a woman won't come back or try harder, and it's not in their nature to do so. ( One of the examples I can think of.)
