This is more of a reimagining than a remake. I wasn't thinking about showing any improvement in my skills, I just wanted to try out a style I was interested in for the longest time. I won't blame anyone for preferring the original version 👍
This animation is heavily inspired by GMOD horror maps. I really like playing them, they have a nice aesthetic. Quite a lot of shots from this video are based on gameplay screenshots I've taken while playing "Death Gear" by Emnu. Check it out here: steamcommunity...

This is so cool. The depiction of the Funtimes moving in inhuman ways, which makes sense given the wires that seem to drive their movements are constantly rearranged, makes them feel all the more terrifying as machines out to get you, and further contrasts Baby's all-too-human movements that hint at what she in particular really is. The eyeless models, the dimly-lit and grimy environment with a maze-like interior and a multitude of hiding places for both you and them, and the sort of bleached colorless aesthetic the whole time also adds to it exceptionally well, and is something that SL, had it not completely changed the series's theme from paranormal to scifi, would've done wonders with. Each of the Funtimes falling mid-hunt and later being claimed one-by-one into Ennard was also very well done, and the speed and direct nature of Ennard's movements and scenes, fluid but in these horridly contorted poses, with the flashing alarm lights made that section very tense as well. The inclusion of Funtime Chica, even as just a nod to the springlock suit theory, was neat; and the depiction of the four scraps was very goo as well, each with their own distinct presence and personality in their short sections. Excellent work.

It’s definitely possible since the Capture The Ingettlience game has graphics like this within the cutscenes and map.
this reminds me alot of old gmod youtube videos from the early 2000s. it doesnt necessarily feel like a fnaf animation, more like one of those gmod horror maps you would often see during said time. its pretty creative, and the aspect ratio, video resolution, lighting, maps, and framerate really help capture that old source feel from that short lived time era
Seeing the funtimes which are sleek and glossy in source engine looking locations really tickles something in my brain for some reason. I've been following your work for a while and this is no exception to all of the other amazing stuff you've made. I love how you portray the funtimes during the instrumental breaks with their genuinely creepy movements as they hunt for someone. Also the nice detail of Ennard copying all of the previous scenes with the other 3 funtime animatronics being a very nice climax to the animation. Very impressive work.

RIKKOOO THIS IS SO COOL, i ADORE the classic source-ish vibe. the entire animation is genuinely so creepy to watch it caught me off guard, perfectly fits the song - good job oomf!!!
like others have mentioned, i like how normal baby moves compared to the rest of the funtimes to hint at her true nature. that and using a relatively forgotten animatronic like funtime chica is a nice touch.
BUT HOLY SHIT DETAILS ASIDE i really really like your take on the sister location bunker, to a lesser animator they probably couldnt pull off the gmod map to look unnerving but you did it man
ennard z ooms and as always glad to see the zajcu37 post credit scene (he is almost 200 episodes into season 4 at this point)

Seeing early wips of this truly got me excited for this to release, and it did NOT disappoint. You've outdone yourself immensly here, and you should be extremely proud. This is so much different from the original, yet so much better. The overall vibe here was insane. Some shots are genuinely creepy, and I love them for that. I've been dissecting them frame by frame (👀) for a few minutes now at this point. The movements are so unbelievably well done as well. Incredible job riko, it's been so much fun watching you improve over time and come to be where you are now.

I much prefer the setting of a dark cluttered storage basement for sister location over a sci-fi bunker that would make the scp foundation jealous

Genuinely beautiful work; this video does so many new things that really breathe a new life into the FNAF animation scene. Such a grim and dirty style, which entirely contradicts the vibe the the Funtime animatronics go for, and yet, that's why I love it. Probably one of my favorite FNAF animations I've seen in a while, splendid work!

I seriously am lost for words on this, the first one blew me away and i was in love with it, when i found out you were remaking/reimagining it i was so excited! Your style is incredible and i love the direction you took with this one, the scene build is awesome, and the lighting fits the vibe so much!! I just adore how everything looks!!! The movements.. i am in love with!!! I said it before but i love how ennard moves, and you only just elevated with this! You really have blown me away with this, you genuinely are such an inspiring animator, your ideas to your movements and just everything is so good!! I really can't wait to what other quirky kooky stuff you cook up, because you honestly have so much talent and your style is amazing!

I like how the plushes of the Funtimes are taken by Ennard showing that the Funtimes are getting put into Ennard. Also how Circus Baby acts like a child when she says “My voice just wants to lead you.” Also how Ennard moves faster than the normal Funtimes because they have no shell to slow them down. Also the movements and style the video is made in looks so good, pure eye candy. Along with Scraptrap turning into Spring Bonnie in the light showing Afton’s manipulation of people, and his eventual down fall when Spring Bonnie titans up. This animation is immaculate, pure eye and ear candy. I know I’m not the first person to say this, but this deserves so many more views and likes then it has.
This is truly something else! I love the dirty and dark esthetic of this. I think I prefer the og, but this is still really amazing. I simply love the fact, that you made two versions of the same concept and they both manage to feel really distinct from one to the other and simply different from any other FNAF animations these days. Serious talent over here. (+I love the Springbonnie fakeout, since the figure in the background is Springtrap at first. That was a nice touch.)

Riko this is genuinely incredible. I've always loved your style, I think its incredibly unique, I love the surreal desaturated feel you bring but still keep the life, but this is a whole new level. The idea to have an animation mimicking the feel of an old Gmod horror map is GENIUS, and fits so well with the song. I can see most of these shots coming straight from an early half life horror map. You actually nailed this. The scenebuilding helps too. Building the entire set using things like themask, zombiller, and actual valve props really aid in building the atmosphere. Very glad it's not just the same accuracy full of wires room most people use. Fan-fucking-tastic.

the visuals left me feeling so uneasy to the point of me wanting to take a long, hot shower, so i'd say you did a pretty fantastic job with this
First time in a while where ive seen actual source elements used in one of these really awesome and nostalgia pilled....
This is such a cool animation. I especially love the dark and dirty look, it honestly kinda fits. The animatronics also move so inhumain and i really love the ennard segment too, its pretty creepy which is a first for a fnaf music animation.

This was certainly a spectacle to see! who would've thought something which seemed so simplistic would end up being such a well put together animation! I've thoroughly enjoyed watching you work on this over the short period of time you spent on this...this was certainly a masterclass of a remake! that's for sure! and my god that Ennard sequence was just so awesome and so well animated!

Woah, you completely nailed the horror game kinda esthetics, they move in such natural YET uncanny ways, like enemies seeing you and running at you to game over you, yet... I can't help but feel like when they interact with their surroundings it turns into a kind of VHS found-footage horror kinda vibe, like this things are ACTUALLY REAL and moving and they move in a realistic way, coming closer to you like how a real robot would, struggling to get pass doors and small spaces yet they don't have any kind of biological limitations, they can just be as efficient as they want. Amazing job!! And the rendering of the spaces was super well made, even the lower framerate helps a lot to the feeling of inadequacy !
Last thing, you made Springbonnie look so good, specially when it says "brain freeze" and (who I assume is Afton within it) gets tense due to the springlock mechanism hahaha!
I really love how this is stylized like an old gmod video, it's so unique like i've never seen something like this before in an FNAF SFM animation and it executed so well! Absolutely incredible animation bestie, loved it a lot!
I like how Ennard stands and does absolutely all the same things that animatronics did before, but more aggressively, it's clear that they have all become one
I know this doesn't count for every shot, but the idea was that the funtimes are looking for someone, but ennard already knows where they are.
It looks so grimey, that paired with the unnatural movements (especially on Ennard) creates really creepy visuals. Good work!
This has even more style and that creepy source aesthetic then original 0_0 I really love your new animations for that simplistic, but atmospheric lighting and that sense of dread.
