    The platform for the mattresses is nice. You're hired to do mine!!
    LOVE the added safety features that you added. Very smart.
    The lighting is pretty simple.
    But a small flatscreen TV should hook onto wall and not be on a stand.
    I'd rather have a mini frig and mini microwave too. I drink a lot of hot decaf herb teas.
    Thank you both for your videos.
    You both are special people to make them. Again. Thanks a bunch. 🙏🌱🌻

    Nice running-light additions. I'm happy with the LED option from the factory. Very cheap and better done than if I DIYed it.. They make mine look very cool at night, and very visible.

    I came across your battery connectivity video awhile back and became interested in the unit at that time, so seeing the factory tour and your new updates is fun! Being lighter, I may now be able to tow the RangeRunner with my Outback, eh?
    Thanks again!

      I avoid driving at night as much as possible, but when I do with the Runaway - I KNOW I am seen. And those LED lights really show up in the daytime too. It is a smart upgrade.

    Hi, just came across your channel while researching these campers. Since the video is 3 years old, I'd like to know what kind of maintenance upkeep has been needed. Caulk replacement, seals etc. Any water leaks? Great videos BTW!

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  Год назад

      Every RV or camper needs standard maintenance. Any owner should periodically check along the seams and see if recalling is needed - like any RV. Byte these fiberglass models are so well sealed, I just have not heard of any leaks. And now the roof is made of a one piece of fiberglass like a boat hull. The roof cannot leak. We now have a Ford Transit 250 that we converted into a beautiful camper. We loved our Runaways and they are great small sleeping boxes! : )

    Hello. We just placed an order for a 2020 range runner! What dimensions are the curtains? We bought some Velcro and curtain material today and don’t know what size looks the best. We are getting everything ready ahead of time so it will be a quick and well thought out build. Thanks.

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  4 года назад +1

      Make sure to not put the sticky velcro on the curtain fabric. Susie bought plain velcro to sew onto the curtains. Susie said a yard wide by 23 inches. Maybe wait until you get the camper to be satisfied. They are simple and fast to make.

    • @dylanclink5108

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  4 года назад +2

      @@dylanclink5108 That curtain size is the finished size - so, of course, the rough size before you hem it is larger. The actual window size is 30 x 20 and Susie goes much larger on the curtains to make sure it extends beyond the window for privacy. Let me know if you need more info.

    Charles, is it possible to boondock with this camper? Do you have battery power, solar?

    • @charlesmoman

      We do a little, especially when in between camping destinations - like at a rest area or Cracker Barrel. Here is a newer video about my simple solar set up. We now have an Ecoflow Delta 1300w power station that can run the AC at night.

    Mr Moman we are just 11 weeks away from our very own range runner camper, woohoo. I appreciate your videos, but it looks like you put a smaller awning on your 2020. If so can you tell me why you decided to do that and does your screened in room still work. Thanks

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  3 года назад +1

      We found the ARB 2500mm a little unwieldy and we really did not that much space. The 2000mm version is all we need and the screen room is nice. But we are now converting a 2018 Ford Transit 148" MR into a camper van and you can see the series here on my channel. We are keeping the Runaway just for grandkids now. I may actually take that awning off the Runaway and put it on the Transit. Either that, or we will get a Moonshade instead.

      @charlesmoman  4 года назад +1

      @@MrOppie93 I tell people with a Runaway you are camping, not RVing. We are camping tonight and tomorrow night at a nearby state park. We will set up, maybe a little hike, eat and because it gets dark early, we have couple of movies on a Kindle or laptop to watch before bed. I may go out at midnight and do some Milky Way/star filming too. When it is light much later, in the summer, we might only be in it just sleeping at night (afternoon naps too). Not for everyone, but beats a tent and I am comfortable every night we are out. Good luck selling your wife on the idea.

      We MUCH prefer the extra air flow - especially now with the MaxxAir fan and MAxxAir passive vent I installed. Air is pulled through the camper wonderfully. We are at about the end of a two-week Colorado trip (video coming) and the MAxxAir was all we needed most of the time. And I now have an EcoFloe Delta 1300w lithium unit that cab run the 5,000BTU AC for about 6-7 hours and can recharge from 0% to 100% in 1:42 which ai absolutely amazing. And we are getting a Ford Transit (medium or high roof) to convert as our town vehicle. I will do the build the fall/winter.
