We found the skinny pedal on these slippery trails

- It is so much fun riding when everything is slick. Still can't believe we did that with a tree. Either way nobody was hurt and we were able to really test out our tires. I have to say the #MRT's have been impressing me each time I go ride.
For all of the smart folks out there if you have any info on a 1127 engine code let me know what it was on yours. Thanks.

Me and my dog we over there riding Thursday, real nice day.
I bet it was less rain than Friday for sure
@@GrimRZR I did not go up or down the hills at Fox Hollow but I went thru the trail across the top side. I saw how slick they were. I was by myself so I stayed clear of bigger hills. Take no chances alone.
@@PumpkinvineATVClub Lots of fun little places like that at the park.
That last run was awesome
Fun stuff
Man I can't wait to go back there in January!
Everything is fun when it's wet and slick
There are mud tires, rock tires, race tires, trail tires... They have yet to make a wet clay tire.
It's more of a slippery rock that has mud on it than wet clay.
Freaking awesome!! Super slick
You should have been there
@@GrimRZR I’m definitely trying to be when I can
Over boost 1127 actuator sensor fault OR crack in diaphragm. Dynojet has a nice replacement actautor for about $160. Made right here in my home town!
Appreciate it. I think I found the issue. Broken boost line going to the control valve
Now that was slick
It's only like that at certain times. But it's a ton of fun
My XPT used to throw 1127 (overboost code) somewhat frequently while beating on it before I tuned it and she hasn’t thrown it since and that was 3 years ago👍
I'm hearing a tune might fix it if I don't see any broken things
Slicker than a Philadelphia Lawyer
Lol. I guess I will have to keep that in mind
I think the talon might have made it with a little different line. The i4wd hurt him some when one wheel wasn’t pulling as hard as the other.
He was getting to the slick part. Wasn't used to trails quite like this one yet
Have you not reviewed the obor rock scrapers yet?
I haven't
It's a low Bost code. I just put a tuner on mine with stage 3 AA never seen agin
Appreciate it. Found a line had broken from the turbo to the boost control valve
The other tree you parked by didn't look to good eather lol
It's totally different there now. A few trees are gone and more lines up the hill
Just went through this was the waste gate joint needed lubed
Mine turned out to be a hose broken from the turbo to the boost control valve. Appreciate the suggestion. I probably need to lube that anyway
Also dealer told me to drive in low range under 10 miles per hour and it will clear the codes also does your cameras work with no cell service looking to do front and rear on a 22 pro xp sport want a split screen and full time viewing
@@brianmcilwaine2743 I only have rear and it doesn't require cell service. It's connected to my tablet
What mrt tires are you running im surprised you got away from the roxxzillas.
I haven't given up on Roxxzillas. Just trying something new. These MRT Desert Storms are pretty good though
Grim rzr are you still running the mrt tires? If so how you liking them compared to zillas
I am really liking them. Some things I like better and some things not as good. Review video is coming soon
RZRz’S PFF
Im thinking the same thing
I just stumbled across this channel, so new subscriber here. Awesome videos I think I've watched all your videos in the last 12 hours.lol. I watched the video of the gear reduction install and was wanting to get one. So my question is I just bought the 23 xp 4 1000 non turbo, I ride basically the same way you do hills, crawling, etc what percent reduction would you suggest for me to get I wanna bump tire size up to 32's atleast. Thanks for any info.
I really love how low mine is. If you ride like me that's the way to go. Even on 32s. If your a little hesitant you can always use the 2 seater low gear instead of the ranger low. Or you could just put the ranger low gear and leave high alone.
That should be around 30 percent in low
This is a way better video than the short one of him just spinning. You could not tell the situation he was in , in the REELS video. Way better understanding
Hard to put anything in perspective in a reel. Lol
What kind of cage you have ?
Mine is from LandWfab. It's called the Gordon low.
I really enjoy your content, thanks for all you do. I noticed you are running mrts which model and what’s your thoughts, I looked for a review but didn’t find one.
Thanks again
Appreciate it. These are Desert Storm. The review is coming soon. I really like them. Of course they have strengths and weaknesses but I will try and go over everything I've noticed in the video
Still waiting excitedly for your ultimate opinion on the MRT Desert Storms... I'm right on the cusp of needing to replace my 35" XTR 370's. One had a plug that ended up screwing up the sidewall. 2 tires have sidewall splits but holding air. I like them but wouldn't mind trying something else...
I like them. If course your riding style will mostly tell what tires will be best for you.
@@GrimRZR How do you feel they are wearing vs something like the XTR 370? Didn't you have those as well?
@@Bizill75 I did have some 370's. So far these aren't showing much sign of wear. Hard to compare since it's not been very long
@@GrimRZR I'm trying to beat down the rest of my tread. Most tires must somehow use harder durometer rubber toward the carcass or something. Same occurred when I had my RZR with Tensors. Heck, same for the Kanati Mongrels I had too. With my 370's now it's weird going from 35" down now to 33's or less due to wear. I want my 2+ inches back.
@@Bizill75 I don't let them get that far down usually before trying something new. Lol. I'm editing the MRT tire video right now. Should be up tomorrow
Are those the mrt rocky version? Or standard sticky?
From what I understand they only have one compound in this model and it's not what they consider a sticky.
1127 is the infamous overboost code. could go away. could be the waste gate, bov, etc.
It does seem to point to lots of things
Grim RZR yeah good luck with it. Hopefully it goes away or you find it quick before you replace everything.
@@LineTanner I did find a boost line that broke. Just have to get the code cleared now
@@GrimRZR unhook the battery cables. Touch them together for 10 secondsish hook em back up. That'll reset the ecu.
It’s a boost fluctuation code. Some say its an overboost code but this code will also trigger with a boost level thats too low.
Appreciate it. I've been reading up all morning. Looks like it points to lots of different things
I cleaned my charge tube and went away
@@chriswilliams6228 I found a broken boost line
Your front quite at the point you got code look like
I don't think it was broken
No it started right back when you gas back on it watch it it might have jus been me I'm about blind anymore sucks to be getting old lol jus look funny to me might have jus been driver side that stop for a minute I thought it jump out on you because when it stopped going is when it did think you would've made it that time
You should take some RZR in the mud
Maybe we can take my son's mud mower on more trips for that
We go muding all the time in our RZR
It's fun, love the videos
Guess it was my eyes I what again an didn't see it course I was driving earlier don't tell no one lol
Lol. I do it sometimes too. Too much driving not to
1127 boost pressure is to high and or not as common but in some cases to low
Appreciate it. I think I found the issue. Broken boost line going to the control valve
👍👍
I Really like the content I’m heading there today 12-11-22
But I really don’t know the trails could you send me some sweet spots that you know of thanks
Depending on how capable your machine is and how much challenge you want.
Steep is Fun
Muddy is Fun
Steep and Muddy is not Fun
It does have an opportunity to go bad.
