My grandmother saw and thought he was sleeping, but then she realized he wasn’t breathing. I’d spent the whole day with friends and when I got home, my parents broke the news to me. You bet I cried a lot. We never had a funeral for him because he wanted to be cremated. A little over a year ago, we got his ashes back and had a burial for him. I still miss him so much.
