Also “Salieri” is actually Angelo Bronte. He didn’t die that day on the river and the stream made his way to Lost Heaven then he formed a brand new family with a brand new name. XD

It is more story-driven than a GTA game, but it is still is a GTA-like game.
Absolutely loved this game, such a story and the voice acting perfectionn
I am a hude fan of mafia 1. This remake is amazing. The graphics, voice acting, gameplay, story... everything is perfect. A must have for every fan of mafia games.

This is/was amazing. More Mafia. This honestly fixed everything wrong with the first game. What a bloody achievement.

There was a mission i didn't forget for some reason. Kneel 3 times and run around the building 1 time. That was the whole mission. Free ride extreme was super weird but fun :)

This game is so well optimised that on low settings the reflections and graphics are just insane without major fps drops, CDprojekt red should take some notes

Jakbaj yeah very early as a placeholder maybe they changed the name in canon lol I remember with the Burke he changes the cities name to Bourbon City.
Phenomenal game. The game is entirely narrative driven but anyone who’s a fan of the Mafia franchise shouldn’t mind that. Well done Hangar 13.

Probably the only game I ever seen that implemented actual functioning car blinkers . I hope that level of detail will still be present for this game.
The Getaway used blinkers instead of a map to guide you towards your destination
this game is incredible definitely one of my favorite game of all time

Mafia 2 was very repeatative. Mafia was something else.
Tamojit Basu I partly disagree. The missions were not repetitive, each mission had its own theme. One of them was in Sicily, some of them were in 1940’s and Vito vas just a newcomer, etc. But the structure overall needed some more variety. Not always shoot ‘em up.
Sarpali Sayılan was bout say the something that hotel mission is in top 5 best mission from the whole 3 games

I can't wait to see what hangar 13 does next believe it or not but this game took them 3 years to make as a side project. for example Mafia 2 took five years

Andy TOSKOVIC Dont get me wrong. I love the game and combat. But let’s be honest here, it wasn’t the Mafia game we wanted. Especially for the 60s era, so much could have been done. Very repetitive, although they made up for some in the dlc. So yes, they redeemed themselves.
J M also, many people don't understand that it's actually 2K's fault Mafia III came out the way it did, not Hangar 13's... they had a lot of extra ideas but 2K cut their funding, as the result we get Mafia III we know today
Andy TOSKOVIC I agree. Even leading up to release I was very excited for that game. But to be honest, I’m actually still enjoying it now with all the dlcs. Taking my time destroying Marcanos organization. But you are correct, it would have been way better if not rushed.

The OG game didn't have any side missions so don't expect anything besides main missions.
There's Lucas' mission, but I dunno they might expand it this time I think.
Mafia definitive edition has the best story and overall absolutely my favorite game of all time,that time line is just amazing

@@mojtabasohrabi538 I heard a rumour that there won't be an indication of the money that you have since you can't buy clothes from a clothing shop or tune your car. I know that we will be able to change the color of cars in our garage and suit up from our wardrobe. I hope this rumour is false though. Because if it is true, Tommy joining the family and robbing a bank would be pointless and less immersive.
@@palimelodies793 Clothing Stores are not confirmed. But it is confirmed that you can change clothes at least. But how you get them is not known yet

Mafia 2 was going to be a legendary and an innovative game. We were gonna switch characters (between Vito and Joe) not in a DLC but in the main story. Rockstar did that on GTA 5 three years later (in 2013). Also the story would take place in 1945 and between 1951-57 and the cars’ models would change and get faster. In the current version there are cars from 1957 in the year 1951 which doesn’t make sense. And also there was gonna be real estate, car dealership, alternate endings, etc. I really want Mafia 2 to get a remake.
For a game that’s a decade old doesn’t need a remake. But i think the game should get a proper remaster like it’s definitive edition failed to do so, but sadly it most likely will not.
