    Super helpful! Especially since the first track for All-State is a 3 octave one-breath chromatic scale

    Funny, I'm just learning to play a scale that I learned from another video where the saxophone player's girlfriend also plays flute; that's so much fun!

    I learned the Chromatic Scale to the 3rd octave before my 12 major scales 😂

    "Cromatico" refers to colours in italian too. "Sfumature cromatiche" means "colour shades", or "gamma cromatica" means "colour gamut".

    Do you have any advice for a flute player trying to learn saxophone? I’m trying but it’s not working so well.

  • @bryanyoutubechannel

    What do you mean by "slur"?

    • @Itsjustkatieok
      @Itsjustkatieok 3 года назад +1

      Its where you fo not use your young you just play through the note only using your fingers and it usually Acura when two notes are "tied together " it's easy for beginner flutes to do this but difficult in upper registers
