Our local Conservative candidates put up posters without actually saying which party they represented: only the blue background gave the game away. It didn't help - the Tories still lost control of the council. 😁
Saw many were using the colour green on their fliers for some reason. Green that famous Tory colour.

The same tactic was used in Ireland by Fianna Fail for the 2011 General Election. This was after the political fallout from the Financial Crisis. I have the feeling the Tories took the same consulting company advice for exactly the same reasons.

Our Tory flyer had misspelled "Conservatives" Yep! They had it as "Conservative's" While I had little motivation to vote for them before I saw the flyer, that was the clincher.

.....the conservatives aren't even your opponents. Its the seats in Scotland you need to win back from the SNP to form a majority.
They need too win seats back from the SNP yes. However even if Labour did a clean sweep of Scotland that would still give them only 261 seats (on 2019 general election) The would need another 65 too reach the 326 figure of a 2 seat majority. There are only 59 seats in Scotland. Labour have 1, so net gain up too 58. However that would still be less than the half the number of gains needed, which is 123(up from 203)

Based on Boris's efforts in Ukraine his job is pretty much safe until the next election. Starmers isn't.
people love doctor who and under jodie whitaker the franchise was ruined. The story lines and acting was awful and rating are the worst ever. It should be canceled. People are sceptical for two reasons, 1: Has he just been given the job to create a shock to gain the media spot light to lift ratings in the short term. Probably. Everyone's talking about it: 2: Did he earn the job or was he just given the job to fill a diversity quotor? That's positive discrimination and many talented people may of been passed over so he could get the role. Society suffers as a result.
Or... he got the job because he'll be good at it? If a white person got the job, would that necessarily have been because they were the best for it? Would you be worrying about the possibility of the casting director passing over non-white talent because they're racially motivated? No, I doubt it.
Also, its either "may've" or "may have", not "may of". If you're going to make bigoted assumptions, at least be grammatically correct whilst you're doing it.
