Let’s make one thing clear jesus knew he had to die even himself declared it “ for this hour i have come “ “my time is not yet” “ this temple i will destroy and rebuild in three days”
“The son of man must be lifted up”
So when you say jesus was repenting or asking his father to please spare him and not let him die then that’s a contradiction, jesus don’t want to be separated from his father not one second because of the sin that was about to fall on him he has always loved him since eternity and for eternity so when the sin of the world fell on jesus and the wrath of the father did too he cried out why have you forsaken me ... God cannot be near sin he was diestituted from his father for that day quotignpsalms 22 on the cross
And all those people screaming “cmon “ stop believing everything pick up and analyze your bibles i love this mans teaching ability i love that he understands his israel history but i have noticed him manipulate two or three verses here and there and add a lot of opinion without saying “in my opinion” be like berean believers study your bible side by side pause he video break it down and see if it matches God bless

Hello Juan. You must remember something very important. Christ, or Jesus, is GOD manifest into human form. This means Jesus was All GOD and all Man. He was the WORD of GOD - 'In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word WAS God' and 'the son of man' When Jesus prayed to God in the garden, he prayed to God as God and as a man. When he asked that the cup pass him, he was speaking as a man: fearful of what must happen to him; as he sweated blood from his skin. Only in such fear of what will happen can blood enter into the sweat glands of the body. It is a known medical condition. After this He (Christ) acknowledged Gods desire for Him and He said 'not by my will, but by yours alone' Christ was acknowledging God and Gods Glory through the death and rebirth (or raising of) Christ. Christ took the sins of the world past, present and future upon his body and he took those sins to death. When He was raised, He was raised in the Spirit and the sins were gone from Him. They were put to death.

Matthew 26:36-46 is the account Yahshua (Jesus) in the garden of Gethsemane. I believe this is what is being referred to. Please understand He is fully God but also fully man and faced the same temptations any regular man faces. He says three times in the garden of Gethsemane “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”... this happened just before he was arrested.

God is eminently capable of protecting us on the earth! It will be a time of great signs and wonders which will include our testimony of His protection- that will see many people saved by the Holy Spirit’s power. - We have our part to do in discipling people - would you really want to see them go to hell if they would accept Jesus if we discipled them? We are saved by GOD’s grace, so should we not have patience and unselfishly work with God to see people like ourselves saved!

Finally it makes sense! The pretribulation rapture always felt like wishful thinking.
All previous early Christians suffered and a great many went through unimaginable tribulations for their faith. Yet we are somehow special?
May God ready us for the coming persecution and may we please our God and Savior with the oil our suffering produces .

Yes you're right that the early Christians suffered and went through great tribulations but they lived under the Ox anointing...the Ox anointing is the standard that God raised up when the enemy came in like flood by murdering His saints...that Ox anointing on the saints make them give there lives freely....but we are under the Eagle Anointing...flying High above the deception of the enemy and the saints is flying high in their Revelation...they living Spiritually in Rev 4 Already!....4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. @@eagleeyes6642 I feel like the issue of the rapture pre / mid / post, has unnecessarily caused a divide in the body of Christ. I myself used to stand in total confidence in a pre-tribulation theory. There are (Many) good arguments for pre/ & post but I have to rest in the most important one of all. We are washed in the blood of Christ so we are saved by faith giving us the hope of eternal life. Whether he comes before or after the tribulation I can not say. But I live and hope like it could be any moment.
Thanks for sharing your point of view, it is welcomed and important. May our God continue to bless you in his grace and mercy. Either way I hope to further this discussion in heaven with you.

Not only was the Church a mystery, only faintly hinted of, in the old testament, but so also is the Rapture, as first revealed in the new testament. Since Paul's writings came after Christs' words, it is impossible that Matthew 24 is telling us when the Rapture will take place. Do a search in the book of Revelation, how many times the phrase occurs, "...those that dwell upon the earth." The Great Tribulation is reserved for the ignorant, wicked, lost, who will face God's wrath, poured out without mixture. Christ suffered for sin once. His Bride, the Church, is also His Body, and will not suffer the wrath of God. A pre-trib rapture allows the Great Tribulation to be sole judgment upon the wicked. The scriptures that speak of "enduring unto the end, shall be saved," refers to a great many people who will get saved DURING the Great Tribulation. There are many old testament examples of God refusing to allow the righteous to die with the wicked. Enoch, Methuselah, Noah, Lot, Rahab, the judgment of the family of Korah, to name the most obvious examples. Ask yourself this question; Who is Jesus speaking to, in the last chapter of Revelation, in the second last verse, when He declares, "Surely, I come quickly"? He comes for His Bride, first. Notice, chronologically, the the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, occurs just before His triumphant return to the earth, in judgment. You can't say there are even two phases to Christs' return. He retrieves, first. Seven years later, He returns, for His official 2nd Coming..

I think you are confusing the great tribulation with the wrath of God. they are not the same. If you remember the tribulation is not the work of God but it will be the time in which the anti-Christ reigns on Earth for a little while. the pains and anguish and heart aches and wars and deaths and harmful things brought upon the people during the Great tribulation will be brought about by the hand of the Anti-Christ and not by the hand of God. the wrath of God is that same as the judgement of God and in a spiritual sense the judgement of God is to be cut off from His presence, and spirit. Noah suffered great persecution/tribulation for many decades at the hand of the enemy, but was never cut off from God. and was indeed saved from the wrath of God (flood). Christ suffered even greater persecution, when the Sadducee and Pharisees ridiculed Him for His ministry just as we might suffer today for preaching the good news, and then Christ suffered His great tribulation when the Romans (the Anti-Christ-like regime of His day) beat and made a mockery of His life and mission, this is similar to the great tribulation of the end times when the Anti-Christ will be a great governing power and will physically torment and beat and kill all who do not denounce Christ's divinity, just as Pontius Pilate was willing to let Christ go free if He would just denounce His own divinity. Christ's death was not at the hand of God, although it was God who asked Him to endure it. However God did not place His wrath/judgement upon Christ, for Christ was saved from the wrath/judgement of God and deemed worthy and righteous to procure and retain God's presence, and spirit forevermore.
at the time of the tribulation we shall not be deemed greater than Christ, we will not be more worthy of salvation, nor in less need of refinement and growth than Christ. we like Christ will be subjected to the tribulation of our days and God will ask us to endure it all. and once we have endured all that the Anti-Christ inflicts upon us, still with an eye singled to the glory of God, Christ will come to redeem His bride and take them in unto Himself, for they will be blessed to be in His presence forevermore. Revelation 7:14 even says that those who Christ takes unto Himself as His bride and who will stand with Him at the throne of the almighty will be those who "came out of great tribulation", not that they were saved before great tribulation, but those who endured it, and went thru it, and came out the other side, and did not cave and give into the temptations of the enemy, disavowing Christ in order to save there own mortal lives. those who like Christ drank of the bitter cup (tribulation/death) and did not shrink (give into temptation). it says these are they which washed their robes, and they would not need to wash them if they didn't go through anything that would get them dirty in the first place. they made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb. there has never been a time ever recorded where one can make their garments white in the blood of the Lamb without enduring great trials and tribulation.
the great tribulation will be the epitome of the passage in Matthew 10 which reads, "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me (shrinks and gives into temptations), is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life (saves his own skin by renouncing Christ) shall lose it (be cut off for God's presence): and he that loseth his life for my sake (proclaims Christ's divinity even if it costs him his life) shall find it ( be saved in the kingdom of God)". all those who wish to be righteous in the sight of God will take up their cross in the tribulation placed upon them by the Anti-Christ and will carry it all the way to Galgotha the place of the skill, which can also be interpreted the place of Death. this indicates that like Christ, we will have to endure trials and tribulation even unto the place of death for we are not greater than Christ who also had to endure unto death, until the time of Christ's coming which won't happen till just before the opening of the seventh seal which is after the 7 year tribulation. and all those who have not yet endured death will be changed Translated/resurrected in the twinkling of an eye.

scott banta, your doctrine is at odds with itself, not discerning the active and permissive will of God. God allowed the Jews to accuse Christ of blasphemy, and then allowed the Romans to execute Christ. This was the plan of salvation. Christ was the innocent Lamb of God, to take away the sin of the world. "It pleased the LORD to bruise Him." In like manner, God specifically states that the Great Tribulation will be His wrath upon the 'earth-dwellers' (said many times in Revelation), mingling acts of God with anti-christ persecution. All the evil that comes upon the Great Tribulation saints will be allowed by God. I don't believe they will suffer from the plagues, however.
The Rapture cannot possibly happen at the end of the Great Tribulation, for this reason, alone: Christ will separate the goats from the sheep, and the goats will be immediately disposed of in the lake of fire. The sheep will repopulate the earth, during the thousand year reign of Christ...but HOW, if everyone is in a glorified body??! Believers during the Great Tribulation, that endure the hardships of those seven years, will be ushered into the Kingdom, in their mortal bodies, to replenish the earth. Anyone who dies at 100, will be said to leave the (then) world in their youth. The pre-trib rapture also answers the sudden revelation of the anti-christ, who cannot come until the Holy Spirit, which indwells the believer, who also reproves and rebukes sin, is taken out of the way. THEN shall that man of sin be revealed.

you mistake my lack of divulgence with a lack of understanding. I was merely trying to keep it simple for those that were lacking in understanding as to the more simple parts of the word. however you are implying that although God knew and accepted the fact that the Romans would kill Christ, it was also God's doing. the first and foremost law of Heaven is the law of agency. there is not a single act nor choice made without invoking the right to agency, and God has never taken agency from anyone. God may stave off the consequences or judgement of improper use of agency for another time, or may pour out His wrath immediately upon those who misuse their agency, but God will never remove our agency from us. in other words God did not at all invoke or provoke the Romans to misuse their agency to bring about the death of Christ. God's simply knew before hand that they would do so and thus placed Christ in that time when the necessary actions and misuse of agency would carry out the imperative and eternal works of God. saying that God let it happen so therefore God made it happen is like saying that there needs be an adversary to righteousness for agency to be of value therefore God forced Lucifer to rebel and become that adversary. which in turn would make God a corrupt and evil God turning on His own creations just save others. which makes God a respecter of persons, for then who would He pick to cast out? and how would He go about choosing that person, if not a decision made out of personal feelings for some of His children as apposed to others?
Of course it was necessary for Christ to be wrongfully accused and put to death for the fulfillment of the plan of salvation but God cannot and will not ever force either Christ to die or force the Romans to kill him those were all personal choices brought about by their own misuse of agency. God simple had the foresight enough to anticipate those iniquitous actions and hardened heart to bring Christ into this world at a time when those actions would pan out the necessary way. Christ even had the choice to not go thru with the atonement but instead stayed strong to His conviction to us and shrank not under the temptation to save His own physical life. Christ said if there is another way then lets do it that other way but if not I willingly accept my duty and because I love all of the children of God it is pleasing to the Lord to suffer but a little more if it means saving millions/billions. the bruising of Christ by the Lord, came not from His suffering at the hands of the Romans, but rather at the time when Christ took all infirmities and sins upon Himself and Bled as it were great drops of blood... think about it... what is a "bruise" it's the bringing of blood to the surface by way of applying great pressure. that is exactly what happened in the garden of Gethsemane this part was not the Romans doing, and God did not force it upon Christ but Christ willing took it upon Himself.
I would be very interested to see these specific passages which spell out how the great tribulation is called the wrath of God?
For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth will also disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain. (Isa. 26:21) so Isaiah says that when God punishes the Earth it will be at the time when the Earth will no longer cover Her slain (resurrection) which will be after the tribulation.
The great day of the LORD is near; It is near and hastens quickly... that day is a day of wrath..(Zep. 1:14-18) yet we know that in the day of the great tribulation this will be the time of the reign of the Anti-Christ. (Daniel 7,12; Revelation 11) so if the wrath of the God will came in the day of the Lord's reign and the tribulation is known as the time when the Anti-Christ will reign on Earth, then how could wrath of God and the tribulation possible be considered the same thing?
of course the terrible things that will come upon the saints in the tribulation will be "allowed" by God. there is nothing that happens on this Earth that is not allowed by God. the difference is that just because God allows it to happen does not mean that God causes it to happen. saying God allowed therefore God caused it would be to say that the Romans beating Christ was nothing more than the wrath of God being poured out upon Christ. do you not see how asinine that sounds? not every bad thing is the cause of God's wrath.
of course Christ will separate the goats from the sheep, and Matthew says that won't happen till after the 2nd coming of Christ. I do have to say that you are resting your argument upon a couple of different assumptions though. for one you assume that the separation will be an instant thing. I get that it says the righteous will be translated and that the wicked will be purged. however what of those who are neither wicked nor righteous? what of the those who know nothing of God or Christ? what of those who are just simply ignorant not by any fault of their own but by happenstance? they too must be given the opportunity to either follow or reject Christ of their own volition. the scriptures say there won't be any infants nor will there be any old men die before they have the opportunity to make that choice, but says nothing of them being taken nor purged? what if for instance they are those who are still mortals upon the Earth to live out their days learning of Christ to determine whether they wish to follow or reject Him and at the moment they choose to follow Him completely they are they who will still be a part of the first resurrection but not a part of the morning of the first resurrection like those who were resurrected at Christ's coming, whether they are a follower or not they seem to be given 100 years to decide their path. for at one hundred years the Child (of God) shall die and the sinner/wicked shall be cursed (judged unto damnation) at 100 years. basically it says that there will be none who will be taken nor judged before they used their own agency to decide whether they would follow Christ or not. the scriptures specifically state the the righteous will be changed in a twinkling of an eye at the coming of Christ and that the coming of Christ will mark the beginning of the millennial reign of Christ on Earth so how would there be righteous people who endured the great tribulation still be stuck in mortal bodies through the millennium? the only answer is that they were not righteous at Christ's coming but that they were also not wicked but rather unwillingly ignorant as to the knowledge of God and Christ.

That is the point! There are not many scriptures supporting Pre-Trib and no good reasons in the purposes of God. However, many more scriptures point to persecution and martyrdom. Even in Matt 24, why would Jesus say the gospel must go around the world and THEN the End will come? (1) we have to disciple the nations when Holy Spirit is poured out and (2) why be so specific about the end if we weren’t going to be there to see it, if we escaped it??

The teacher paints with broad strokes the beliefs of all adherents to dispensations and a Pre-Tribulation Rapture that do not track with this writer's familiarity, though I adhere to both. He makes the statement (about minute 7) that "we don't see any language in the scriptures concerning the third coming of Christ, but we certainly do see the Second Coming". [unquote] No; there is no scripture that applies numbers to the appearances of Christ.
There is no phrase in scripture - 'Second coming'.
Rather, just like the word 'Rapture' which also does not appear specifically, the 3 appearances of Christ are explained in their context.
    The Bible describes three distinct arrivals;
    1) Christ's birth and ministry;
    2) His meeting of his church in the air (I Thessalonians 4:)
    3) His return WITH an army of those named called' chosen and faithful' (Revelation 14:17) to earth.
To suggest that the final two arrivals are somehow simultaneous is ludicrous. Anyone who has ever served knows that an Army must be trained, and suited up, before it rides into battle.
A distinction in the 3 arrivals is that in the Rapture Christ does not come DOWN to earth. We meet him up there! Halelluljah! How easy to just believe the scriptures. The angels of Acts 1:11 were not describing the Rapture, but the return to earth as in Zechariah 14:4. The Rapture was a mystery hidden in God, until it was revealed to the Apostle Paul - in his 'abundance of revelations'. (II Corinthians 12:7) "Behold" Paul wrote to us in I Corinthians 15:51.. "I tell you a MYSTERY..."If it was a mystery then the angels did not know it back when Christ ascended. It was hidden in God, until revealed. (Deuteronomy 29:29) Yes, there is NO wording in scripture of a 'Second Coming'. The phrase 'Second Coming' is just a 'vox populi'.
But the great error of this teacher's theology is in thinking the 'churches' and symbolism, and warnings, and writings in Revelation .. are written to Christ's church. Revelation is NOT written to The Church. Christ has ONE church. Not seven. The Book of Revelation is FULL of Hebrew symbolism; John's apocalypse completely corroborates ALL the prophetic books of the Old Testament and their warnings to Israel. All of them!
Revelation is the completion of God's dealing with ISRAEL.

First of all, there is only ONE Man who can open the seals; Jesus Christ; and Christ LOVES His church; (Ephesians 5:25) The Greek word 'will be caught away' is one fascinating Greek word .. "harpagēsometha". It literally means a snatching away, like you would do when you saw your child on a train tracks; you would SNATCH them out of harms way;.. Christ is not going to snatch away his church AFTER she is hit by a train. How utterly silly.
Finally - Before the opening of the seals, the church MUST be gone, because it is then that antichrist is revealed. We know that The Rapture MUST happen before Antichrist assumes power because while the church is around HE IS POWERLESS!... If this were not true, then Jesus lied in Luke 10:19.
To get an accurate understanding of the Book of Revelation and the departure of the church, read E.W. Bullinger; He nails Revelation awesomely in his book 'A Commentary on Revelation', Bullinger, like every Bible researcher of the past was fluent in ancient Hebrew and Greek. His research is unimpeachable.
Rest assured Church, our job is to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils, live holily, and blamelessly before Him, and as Paul told the saints and Titus (Titus 2:3) not watch for tribulation or antichrist, but FOR HIS GLORIOUS APPEARING! Halellluljah!!
    Amen, Come quickly Lord!

At 9:30 or so he talks about the 2nd coming and that an argument could be made that there will be 3 total comings BUT ITS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION THAT His birth was the 1st, and His return after the Tribulation will be the 2nd and Him just coming back in the clouds don't count BECAUSE He isn't actually setting foot on earth in that coming. So maybe it's only the times that He sets foot on earth that are possibily being meant to be counted as it talks about in the Bible. Again, this is just my thought, may not be the way it is????

The Bible often alludes to the harvest of mankind’s souls in terms of agricultural analogies, many of Jesus’ parables used farming elucidations to help explain to the people what this reality is really like, as they were people who mainly worked on the land, in a time when agriculture was the basis of all the worlds economy.
Three main produce were processed in very different ways. The first was the barley harvest which began on the day of First Fruits, day 16 month 1. The barley seed needed to be separated from the chaff, which was done by putting it into a large sheet, while four people holding the four corners would then throw the seed up into the air and the wind would then simply blow the chaff away. This works well as barley and its chaff is easily separated. This separation is reflected in Revelation and the description of the harvest of mankind:
    Revelation 7:1+3-4
1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God. 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
The 144,000 are represented by the barley harvest and therefore the Christians who do not hold onto the things of this world. However, the next harvest of mankind is represented by the wheat harvest, which began after Shavuot (Pentecost). Wheat seeds also need to be separated from their chaff but this is much harder to do than with barley. To do this, a threshing sledge called a tribulator was used, ‘tribulation’ is the English translation for the Greek word, thispis, which is translated, as; anguish, affliction, sufferings, persecution, trouble, hardship, distress, or opposition. The word appears fifty times in the writings of the apostles and is connected with the threshing sledge. The sledge would be ridden by someone standing on it, while an animal harnessed to it pulled it along and over the wheat. The underside of the wooden sledge was fitted with flint, or iron teeth, which would separate the wheat from its chaff, as it was driven over the grain. The prophet Daniel alludes to this in a vision he saw:
    Daniel 7:7
After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast-terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims, and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.
This second harvest is also alluded to in Revelation as the great multitude that comes after the 144,000:
    Revelation 7:9 + 13-14
9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes, who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
The wheat harvest therefore represents the Christians who have not let go of the things of this world and still hold onto sinful ways but manage to hold on to their faith in Jesus unto death. John mentions this harvest right before the final grape harvest that is trodden under foot at the end of the harvest:
    Revelation 14:14-20
14 I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested. [the wheat harvest]. 17 Another angel came out of the temple in Heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.” 19 The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great wine press of God’s wrath. 20 They were trampled in the wine press outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.
The grape harvest represents all the non-Christians. The three produce each represent three kinds of people at the end of this age. The barley are 144,000 Servants of God whom He will choose as the ones who have served Him the most faithfully, by fulfilling their purpose for which God had created them. They are the cream of the crop. The wheat represent the great multitude of believers who manage to hold on to their faith till death during the great tribulation or until Jesus returns. And finally the grapes represent those that did not believe in Jesus, who are crushed under foot. Jesus said about how His coming will affect believers and non-believers differently:
    Luke 20:17-18
17 Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: “ ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’? 18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”
The Bible clearly lays out a time frame for us to know when Jesus came the first time and fulfilled 2 of the 3 most important feasts with perfect timing but one is left to be fulfilled on day 15 of month 7, this is the day of the year that points to His return. Jesus’ fulfilment of these feasts are beyond coincidence.
Deuteronomy 16:16 - Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose:
    Passover : Fulfilled by Jesus
    Pentecost : Fulfilled by Jesus
    Tabernacles : To be Fulfilled…
Jesus actually fulfilled 11 out of 12 Jewish holy-days as my book reveals and is beyond coincidence. Therefore He must return on the one He has yet to fulfill, this is the feast of Tabernacles that celebrates the harvest. Many know it as Harvest festival and it alludes to the great harvest of souls at the end of age. I hope and pray you can see and believe this, and will not be like the Jews who missed His first coming by not recognising all these signs. When Jesus said ‘no one knows the day’ He said it in the present tense, He did not say no one would ever know as Amos 3:7 states:
Amos 3:7 - Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
Jesus also alluded to the fact that He would fulfil Tabernacles at a later time:
John 7:2 & 8 - But when the Jewish Festival of Tabernacles was near, [Jesus said] “You go to the festival. I am not going up to this festival, because my time has not yet fully come.”

Using Matthew 7:14 and "thilblos" or "tribulation" to say believers have to go thru the tribulation, is not a good argument because this verse in context is speaking about receiving Jesus and giving your life to him and to receive Everlasting life. There is not one single true believer in Jesus that did not go thru tribulation in life and found Him. This is sort of twisting the meaning a bit to far. Because there are MAJOR differences between tribulation and "The Great Tribulation" or known as "The Day of The Lord".

Good sermon but you need to work on squaring your idea about the Old Covenant being relevant with Jeremiah 31:31-34. New Covenant is not an extension of the old, so says God through Jeremiah.
Paul later tells us what its purpose was. The Law of Christ sums up the desired effect of the Mosaic Law. Now if by Torah you simply mean being obedient to the teaching of Christ then forge ahead! The Law of Christ is simple and not burdensome - believe in Christ as the Son of God slain and ressurrected for our benefit and love your brother as Christ loves us. Simple.
The Sabbath teaching... I get it, the Papacy of Rome is the house of the anti-Christ and he established a change in “the times and in law” back in 537 AD and I understand that Sunday worship is pagan through and through but friend, I’ve been in Sabbath rest FOR YEARS, not once a week on Sabbot. The old way is merely a shadow of what we have now.
In Christ, we rest continually. His yoke is easy, His burden is light. There is no adherence to the 10 commandments that gets us “points with God”. Scripture doesn’t teach that.
It does teach that if you believe on Christ’ work and your cup of faith overflows with love, you fulfill the teachings of the Torah, because Christ fulfilled it and gave that credit to us. Romans 6:23, I think?

One example "as in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the son of man be" all that believe on Christ(except the next entities described) will be slaughtered! Those who get saved during the Great Tribulation, if caught by the anti-christ, will be imprisoned and beheaded. Those who endure, by God's grace, will be saved (bodily), and go into the Kingdom, for 1000 years.

Rather shallow presentation supporting a post tribulation point of view, mostly attacking the pretrib church rapture (which is also false). Very bias in the presentation, but you should expect that given where the person is attempting to push people. Some truths, but not enough.

There is no rapture in the bible...no mention of it anywhere in the entire bible. The rapture is mans doctrine. The bible is very clear that when Jesus was praying to our Father, in Heaven, the night he was taken into captivity by the romans, Jesus said -John 17:15-26
    King James Version
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
    20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
This means that we who are in Christ, will be here during the tribulation of the world. But God will keep us safe from the harm of evil. After this, at the last day, shall He return in the clouds and we who are in Him shall meet Him in the clouds. Remember, when He returns, it will be on a white horse with His saints ( the true Christians of Christ) will ride on white horses behind him. Lot was taken out of Sodom the very same day God rained down fire and brimstone. This means we who are in Christ will meet with Him in the air, go back with Him to heaven where will will be given white robes and attend the marriage supper, then after this, we will come with Him to judge the world with destruction. In heaven there is no time restraints. What might seem an eternity in heaven may be just hours here on the earth. Read Revelation very carefully. His saints return with Him to judge the world...that's us who are in Christ. When we meet Him in the air we have already been given our new, uncorrupted bodies. In the twinkling of an eye, we are changed. And the dead in Christ shall rise first and we who are alive will be caught up to meet Christ in the air. That is the 'Rapture', if you refer to anytime being a rapture...not before then and certainly not before the tribulation. A rapture before the tribulation is a false doctrine and is not biblical or scriptural. Please note John 17:22 - And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
This passage alone proves that God and Jesus Christ are one. He said so with His own lips. This means all those man made religions out there that proclaim Jesus is anything other than God in the flesh, are wrong. Islam, Mormon, Jehovah's Witness all claim Jesus was just a prophet, or an angel or, in the case of Islam, a prophet lower than Muhammed: what an insult considering Muhammed was a paedophile. Jesus proclaimed the gospel. It is written if any man or angel proclaim a different Jesus or gospel, they are of the devil. For Lucifer transforms even himself, into an angel of light.

We are the End Time élite troops, God’s enforcers of the Kingdom and through us, God is establishing is Kingdom and fulfilling all the prophesies as yet unfulfilled and does not want anyone to perish. Moreover, Jesus is coming back as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Not going out as a damp squid because there was no battle. I think you are confusing the great tribulation with the wrath of God. they are not the same. If you remember the tribulation is not the work of God but the time in which the anti-Christ reigns on Earth for a little while. the pains and anguish and heart aches and wars and deaths and all harmful things brought upon the people during the Great tribulation will be brought about by the hand of the Anti-Christ and not by the hand of God. you could liken the wrath of God to being the judgement of God, and in a spiritual sense the judgement of God is to be cut off from His presence. Noah suffered great persecution/tribulation for many decades at the hand of the enemy, but was never cut off from God. and was indeed saved from the wrath of God (flood). Christ suffered even greater persecution/tribulation when the Sadducee and Pharisees ridiculed Him for His ministry, and when the Romans beat and made a mockery of His life and mission. Christ's death was not at the hand of God although it was God who asked Him to endure it. at the end God withdrew His spirit for only a small moment as part of Christ taking upon Himself all weaknesses and pains man could ever know. However God did not place His wrath/judgement upon Christ, for Christ was saved and deemed worthy and righteous to procure and retain God's presence forevermore. at the time of the tribulation we shall not be deemed greater nor in less need of refinement and growth than Christ. we like Christ will endure the tribulation of our days and God will ask us to endure it all. at this point Christ will come to redeem His bride and take them into Himself, for they will be blessed to be in His presence forevermore. Revelation 7:14 even says that those who Christ takes unto Himself as His bride and who will stand with Him at the throne of the almighty will be those who "came out of great tribulation", not that they were saved before the great tribulation, but those who endured it, and went thru it, and came out the other side. those who like Christ drank of the bitter cup and did not shrink (give into temptation). it says these are they which washed their robes, and they would not need to wash them if they didn't go through anything that would get them dirty in the first place. they made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb. there has never been a time ever recorded where one can make their garments white in the blood of the Lamb and could do so without enduring great trials and tribulation. the great tribulation will be the epitome of the passage in Matthew 10 which reads, "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it". all those who wish to be righteous in the sight of God will take up their cross in the tribulation placed upon them by the Anti-Christ and will carry it all the way to Galgotha the place of the skill, which can also be interpreted the place of Death. this indicates that like Christ we will have to endure trials and tribulation even unto the place of death for we are not greater than Christ who also had to endure unto death until the time of Christ's coming which won't happen till just before the opening of the seventh seal which is after the 7 year tribulation. and all those who have not yet endured death will be changed Translated/resurrected in the twinkling of an eye.
God will then withdraw His spirit for but a little while (Half hour, Revelation 8:1) then the seven angels holding the seven plagues of God will begin to pour out the wrath/judgement of God upon the Earth.

greek amd hebrew targums (ancient translations)

    • @scottb4509
      @scottb4509 7 лет назад +3

Meisel Kool Kidz ya know you keep declaring that you are right and I'm wrong but you aren't showing any scriptural evidence to support your claims. Not to mention your comments don't make a whole lot of sense. The targums is an Aramaic translation of the bible... so you litterally just asked me to look into the terminology of the Greek and Hebrew, Aramaic bible tranclations.
I do look into different interpretations and different languaes every day on different topics. This one is no different. The Greek and aramaic interpretation of the word tribulation is "persecution." And you will never find a passage in the scriptures which says God will persecute His own people. However you will find many passages which say that Satan and the antichrist will persecute God's people. Not to mention the fact that the great tribulation has never been associated with being God's doing nor with being God's wrath. The great tribulation is all about Satan's persecution of God's people through the reign and power given the the antichrist. And God's wrath is not even spoken of in tanndom with the great tribulation. In the end times God's wrath is only mentioned to come upon the earth at the opening of the 7th seal and by then the antichrist will be revealed, Christ will have gathered His bride and the great tribulation will be over. Then the 7 bowls of God's wrath will come upon the earth.

Mermbo Nermberferv; we are indeed told many times through scripture to prepare for the end times. Matthew 24:4-14 is fairly direct about us being prepared. it talks about all the things that the wicked of this earth are going to do and cause and it says don't be afraid because all these things must come to pass. and Christ specifically declares that all those who endure these aflictions for His names sake, which are brought upon them by the wicked shall be saved. and that's only talking about up through the first three years of the tribulation. because it then says that there will be a period of "great tribulation" which will be marked by the anti-christ setting up the abomination of desolation in the Holy place of the temple. and still speaking to all of the righteous saints Christ warns that we must all flee from the lands which are ruled by those with the power and influence of the anti-christ. "for then shall be great tribulation" (vs. 21). so there will be a general tribulation of the sants for 3.5 years caused by general wickedness and iniquity. and then the antichrist declares his power and reign and there are 3.5 years of specific persecution and killing of the righteous saints by those following the antichrist. and they will indeed kill millions upon millions all in the name of united wickedness for the sake of peace. rather than unity in righteousness. the number of wicked people will grow in droves because they will accept this united wickedness because it will be accompanied by peace and safety for their mortal lives. In reality God doesn't want peace for the sake of peace. he want peace for the sake of righteousness. and if it takes the giving up of our mortal lives to show that we will not give into wickedness then that's what God wants us to endure to show loyalty to Him, and Christ even says that if He doesn't come at the end of the 3.5 years of "great tribulation" then there would be no righteous mortals left that are worthy of being saved, because they would have all been killed off by the wickedness of the antichrist and his folowers. but for the sake of the righteous Christ will come at the end of the great tribulation before the wicked can kill us all and will declare His power on earth.
so to make a short story long yes we are to be preparing for trials and persecution through the tribulation and the great tribulation of the end days. my local leaders have been encouraging us to store some non perishable food, up to a years worth if you can not just for ourselves but also for those who may be in need. as well as some emergency supplies like first aid kits and servival equipment if you can afford it. and obviously preparations of knowing and living the teachings of the Lord so that we are not deceived by false prophets and false teachings.

You're making it seem as if we somehow have to work for or to keep our Salvation. Not good. Unbiblical

    • @scottb4509
      @scottb4509 7 лет назад +6

I'm beginning to think that you are really good at reverberating unsubstantiated statements from the rhetoric of your pastor or religious teacher and not so good at reading and studying the word of God for yourself.
I mean to your credit there are some which say all you have to do is believe and you'll be saved, but that begs the question, what exactly does it mean to truly believe in Christ?
there are many passages which explain what it takes to be a true believer. first start with the original context of the word we know as believe. the Hebrew word used in the original script is "Shema". this actually has to inseparable meanings. it means to both listen to and obey. therefore in order to believe in Christ you must not just acknowledge his divinity but also follow His teachings and obey His words.
there are many scriptures that say things like if you love me keep my commandments. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. or this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. and By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
ye who have faith in Christ shall have eternal life. be ye not faithless but believing, faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
also in James 2 there is a passage which says that the devils believe also and tremble. however the word believe isn't the proper translation here. it comes from the original "peithó", which means to simply be persuaded to accept or acknowledge something. so as you can see to truly believe and have faith in Christ you must shema (follow and obey) Him. but the devils believe (are persuaded of Christ's divinity) also and tremble. so if all we have to do is to be persuaded of Christ's divinity in order to gain salvation, and are not required to do anything or perform any works, such as baptism, or obedience to commandments, then the devils also are to be saved according to your understanding.
there is one poignant passage that specifically points out the fallacy in your understanding
Phillipians 2:12- Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
here they saints are told to perform works of obedience to the commandments as a means to gain salvation.
so i truly hope you can see how the word of God literally spells out the exact opposite of what you are saying in your comment. we must indeed work out our salvation by performing works of obedience to the commandments of God in order to obtain our salvation in the kingdom of Heaven.

scott banta Scott I have a question. I have been living in great sin the last three years.. in January it’s like my eyes were opened and I’m making the necessary changes in my life to get right with God. I’ve done sins that are stated in the Bible, those who do this will not inherit the kingdom of God. I had read my Bible and grew up in church, accepted Jesus in my heart (so i thought), but since January and my studies I’ve realized I’ve been told wrong for a long time. Now that my eyes are truly open and I am repentant and making every change that I have to, I’m so worried that I’ve lost my chance and I’ll be eternally separated from Yeshua... I can’t really ask anyone from my home church about this since I realize they are blind to parts of the Gospel as I have been.. my repentance is sincere and I am fighting to live righteous from here on out. Do you think God will still tell me to depart from Him when I get to the throne and experience His judgment?
I truly have just been blind all my life. I’d read my Bible, come across verses that I am now being opened to, and in the past I just decided they were for people years ago, because that’s how I was taught.. I am so grieved in my heart and I want to do right by God and what He has commanded of me. My husband wants a divorce he’s so upset with the changes I’ve been making, but I would rather lose him than lose my salvation and be eternally in separation..
