Hello sir! Kindly explain the function of "All" which was used as an alternative for SELECTEDVALUE in % Top Drugs & % Bottom Drugs. I tried creating my Dax without it but its giving me BLANK result. I didn't get that part, i would appreciate it if you can explain for more understanding. Thank you!
I will teach it in my new channel, kind subscribe to the channel for DAX classes. Thank you. You can subscribe to our new Data Analytics channel:ruclips.net/video/4qx-SJc1Xsk/видео.htmlsi=7Y1SpDxXXz9Qpdwj
Hello sir. I hope you are doing well. I am confused regarding the measure for % top drugs. where you have used the nested if function? if we directly used the below function would it be okay? VAR _Topdrugs = TOPN( 'Top/Bottom Drugs'[Top/Bottom Value], ALL(Lookuptable_Drugs[DrugName]), [Dynamic Measures], DESC ) VAR _TopdynamicTopN = SUMX( _Topdrugs, [Dynamic Measures] ) RETURN _TopdynamicTopN Thank you in advance for your help.
There are various ways to achieve one thing using DAX, you can try any methods. What I have shared works if you follow up accordingly. Nevertheless, you can experiment and see how creative you could be with DAX
brother ,suck on top and bottom, both are working fine without month slicer however with month slicer only top is working and bottom aint working ,i have pasted that in card it returns Blank()
how to make the top 30, or category type filter for TOP N to only interact with the specific chart and for example if no filter is selected from it the TOP N graph should work on the original filter chosen on the dashboard
@@datalab365 no like if I want make top n filter and one for breakdown which includes customer, product line like I can see revenue by customer or product line if I select and only want this filter to change the pie chart and not other visual. If none of these is selected I want it to just be default showing all.
For Dynamic title of your bar chart at 17:40, A nice trick I learnt is to create a helper column in field parameters tables and then use that column in a measures. Doing this would remove the need of using switch. In 'top or bottom' table (created by field parameter), I will add a column which will reference 'top or bottom' values i.e Helper Top or Bottom = 'Top or Bottom'[Top or Bottom] Doing this would reduce above measure from yours to " Top/Bottom chart Title&Nature = VAR _Topbottom = SELECTEDVALUE('Top or Bottom'[Helper Top or Bottom]) VAR _number = SELECTEDVALUE('Top/Bottom Medicines - Number'[Top Values]) Var _nature = SELECTEDVALUE('Nature of Account'[Helper Natureaccount]) RETURN _Topbottom & " " &_number &" "&_nature"
Please, how do I write a dynamic title for the Top/Bottom Product (or Salesperson) visual, such that the title changes dynamically as I select Top (or Bottom) Products (or Salesperson) from the slicer? The title will also include the %age contribution to the Total Sales of the Top/Bottom Products or Salesperson. Thanks

Is at default. Any filter works on your topN. Maybe you can be more specific

Thank You Brother, for a such video
🙏👍
19:15 Why doing it this way instead of setting the visual title using the measure?
At least you got the idea, you can be as creative as you wish. 👍🙏
I can control the positions of my title if do it that way. I will have a lot of control.
