Very insightful overview, I must admit. My question is, does age limit affect one's chances of being a developer? Asking because I am in my mid thirties and also walk in the hospitality sector, and learning this takes months or even years to master it.
Wow thanks a lot. Literally just starting my CS journey. Is Python a good place to start? New to programming and coding in general, want to be a full stack developer and software engineer/ cyber security. So really interested in ur opinion, so I won’t make any mistakes. Cos it’s really a lot tbh.
Hey Im Dave, a full stack junior software engineer in cameroun. Ive spent the past couple of years sharpening my skill set and i wanted to ask if its possible for me to get a remote job give that i've personally gone through all what has been discussed in the video. (Except end to end testing and unit testing with cypress and jest). I've also started leetcoding a week ago but im familiar with DSA since i have a bachelors degree. Thanks in advance for your reply
Thank you so much. So, I am pretty good with HTML and CSS. But whenever I get to JavaScript, I give up before getting to the Advanced sections like fetch, async and co. I have the basic knowledge of React Js but I am limited due to my poor knowledge of JavaScript. I am currently taking a Udemy course on Advance JavaScript. Do you have any advice to keep me motivated or just pass that Advance JavaScript phase. Also How did you build up your LinkedIn page while learning.
thank you for this I have fully gotten myself of the fundamentals of Html, css and javascript but then I'm looking forward to become a full stack, so please I'm in the middle to choose between ruby on rails or full time javascript so what do you think
Don't want to be that guy but, It's good you post this kind of videos on your channel, it would even be better if you had some kind of a playlist on frontend dev.
hi sir first thank you for this amazing video my name is somaya and I'm considering a career transition from electrotechnical engineering to full-stack web development. I'm 34 years old no job from 2013 and interested in learning more about the potential challenges and opportunities in this field. Do you think it's possible to break into full-stack development without a degree in computer science? Also, I'm concerned about my age and whether it might be a disadvantage. Could you share your thoughts about this and if i have chance to change my life and start from zero
It's great that you're considering this, first the mindset is key, secondly discipline and consistency at doing it and practising daily. Age isn't a barrier, this industry is concerned about getting the job done and productivity at the highest order, regarding degree or certification, that's a good to have, but not really necessary to some extent, so you're good. Take time and explore the areas you would like to major and follow through as he has rightly highlighted in this video, be disciplined and rain consistent then go beyond the basics. It's a continuous learning process and so comes the growth too. Best of luck.
@soumiarouba2729 also I agree with what that guy just commented. I can also speak from experience as I was in the field of data science before I even got my degree. Skills pay the bills and it's more about what you can do vs a piece of paper.
Frontend: HTML CSS (Tailwind CSS) Git/Github JavaScript (Typescript) React JS Next JS Server-side Rendering Deployment Is this for website development or web application development?
With all this road map, when do i see small money to boost my moral 😢. I mean with bigginer HTML + CSS + JavaScript how do I apply for the least $50 job
I feel like I am confused and I am not learning anything I have been just on JavaScript for 8 months and I think I am not moving forward I get really sad about this when I even see my guy who we started going far than me not that I am not happy for him I am but like I am too slow when they are a lot to still learn
Hey Levie , very good video ! I was wondering if I can help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and make Highly Engaging Thumbnails which will help your videos to get more views and engagement . Please let me know what do you think ?

do you still think its worth learning this things considering the power of AI ? I mean Senior Dev's wont have much problem but maybe AI can already do the job of a junior deve as we speak
If you worried about AI taking your job as a software engineer then you were never a software engineer in the first place. AI can write code, fine and good. Software engineers do way more than writing code my friend.
@@levi_okoye yea, Just like i said Senior Dev dont have a problem, they will use AI to fastrack their work instead, but how about folks in the comment section who had just laid their hands on HTML with no senior Dev experience.. who is going to tell them the truth?
HTML and CSS do not get the enough of attention, they are so important to understand. They can literally break or make a website.
100% agree
@@levi_okoyeplease I need a coding class 🙏

The best advice I can give to junior developers as HR is Learn NextJs very well.

And just of recently found out that Nextjs can apply the Fundamentals of API

This will be helpful for generations...

This is very educative, and I can say I have gained a few things from this. I need to add this though; React is a library and not a framework.
Correct it's a frontend library
zustand is the next state management tool
You can also add aceternity ui to list of ui kits
Will check them out
This video is for me. To Levi I'm highly grateful!
Glad you liked it
Amazing video bro! 💪🏿
