Hei Chris, I'm gonna PIN your comment just because maybe it will make other people notice these kind of stuff. I'm not sure if I should be THIS honest, but reading the comment gave me shivers. It's really a great feeling even if only one person notices it :D There's a couple of more small transitions like that one scattered into the video.. people don't really understand how hard it is to actually achieve what your mind cooks :) Anyway, thank you and I subbed back! Hope to see you around more often!
Very kind words but if you look at the numbers, they really don't say that! :D I got a couple of videos here and there that hit a sweet spot, but not all and sometimes I actually feel... disappointed. It's really not easy to put content out, especially when you got a wife, a kid and a dog :D AND a full time job! Hence.. the late reply, lol
Just got the dji mic2. I have multiple brands and the reason for adding the mic2's to my action4 is simple you don't need a receiver the mic2 killer feature is that you can use a receiver but on some selected devices you don't have to. So for example on the insta360 ace and DJI own action4/osmo3 you don't this makes all easier and cheaper (you only need 1 transmittor at $99. If you use a cable anyway more brands including this HOMEM is for sure a option there are many. I would then probably look at the new lark m2 from hollyland given the really small size. The nice things all these mic sets are now kind of the same in basic ideas but its the differences that set them apart and make them perfect for some and not for others.
Hello Daniel, I believe you are kinda right and I could not have said it better myself to be honest. There's pros and cons for pretty much every option you chose and mainly it is about the way you are going to be using it. If you motovlog, you clearly need 1 transmitter with bluetooth capabilities and that's pretty much it. If you do more than that, maybe you need to consider something with a charging case (basically more battery life especially if you chose the 2 pack). And then DJI becomes really expensive while HOHEM MIC does not. I dunno, it really depends on the kind of activity you're going to be using them with, and generally.. what are your needs. Quick question: Did you have the chance to do a comparision video in the same environment on all flagship mics you got? :D
Yes it does work with any GoPro that can fit into the Media Mod 😁 and it does sound.. pretty much as you can hear in the video. I did not do any modifications whatsoever to the Hohem Audio files and it's as RAW as it gets. Good sound quality straight forward! 😊
Hi again! Thank you for your kind words! 😁🫶 Second, the HERO 12 was mounted to the bonnet of the car with a TELESIN Suction Cup, which I use for years (all their models) and never failed me once (-20 Celsius is really low and I still trust them with all my GoPro's). Third, the HERO 12 has the ability to connect with Bluetooth mics this year, and Hohem does not have that this year (maybe next year in MIC-02). What you can do, is either connect the receiver via Media Mod (which might just work so that the reciever can get enough power+record the audio directly on the MIC SD Card Storage) and use the MICs as you wish OR, mount the GoPro wherever you want to get the footage, connect the receiver via your Smartphone, record sound, sync video + audio in post and voila! This is pretty much what I've done in the video since my Media Mod is out of commission and waiting for a replacement from GoPro. Any other questions, feel free to ask and I'll happly advise you further😁
Noted! Hi! Actually I could have done a better job with this video (already thinking about doing a second one with RAW tests). If I would have mentioned the in-car comparision in this video, it would have been a bit better. Look, hear the in-car (while driving) mic quality on Hohem MIC-01 video and go watch the iSteady M6 video for the first 1:30 min and hear how bad a GoPro sounds while driving 😃 It's difference from 0 to 100. Hiii! I live in Romania (Eastern Europe), where in summer your brain boils at almost 40 Celsius and in the winter your facial hair grows icicles at -20 Celsius! 😂 Spring and Autumn are long gone.. seamless transitions between them. Anyway, thanks for the comment! 🙏
Hello and sorry for very late reply! Unfortunately you can't, not as far as I remember. But I could test this and come back with a new reply if needed. But I think not. It's pretty much on their to do list for MIC-02 version :D
Hello! Only if you have a Media Mod laying around, or the GoPro Mic Adapter. I actually said that in the video ~ The USB-C port on the GoPro, can't power the RX on its own, therefore the TX (mic) does not have a place to connect to
the editing and production values areremarkably high! Love the transition at 0:55
thanks for the review!

Incredible editing. Fantastic review as well
Thanks for the comment Adam! Really happy to see you're still around :D
Your videos have no competition

PS. I subbed, but don't have time at this point to check the channel. I'll probabl do it later tonight :)
Is it as good as u claim? Does it work with any gopro?

Great video! But more tests in crowded area of the city or indoors...?😄

Do you know if you can connect one of the TX’s directly to an Insta360 X3? Like the DJI Mic 2?
No adapters and manual syncing required?

do they record in stereo if you power on both and position them left and right?
Hello! Good question! Might just have to test this out. Funny because I didn't even think of it, but it's worth a shot!
how’s everything going?~interesting done,goodbye,👍
As good as you can watch in the video! Thanks for passing by mate! 😁
Does it work to connect directly to Gopro?
