Reminds me of my younger days in school and college outlining papers to a T. Nowadays, all my work is behind a screen and data driven; makes it hard to stay connected at times. Need to get writing again!
Ernie to me is the broadcasting voice of basketball. He always will be me. He always has good puns, great notes and knows what he is talking about.

I'm not hating on Shaq blindly but it's become clear after 10+ years that he isn't witty enough or comfortable enough to be an an analyst/entertainer. I think that’s what makes this show great, the impromptu of Shaq chuck and kenny, and ernie the only one getting them organized. There’s actual chemistry. I’d say if two or three of them were organized with their thoughts, there’d be no real conversation, all them just want to get their points established. It’d look like their own individual scripts

I can definitely respect Shaq for learning from a TV vet like EJ to better himself as an analyst. And anyone knocking him for it or his short form notes is stupid. “Must Win” might sound silly and simple but he could easily further explain how they must win. The steps to accomplish the said task.
