+Erica Griffin Woman of God, very nice to see lots of Bible apps & related things open; such a blessing, so refreshing. May God continue to bless you and your husband, God bless you Erica! :)
+Erica Griffin hey, I love your reviews and I just wanted to ask you, in your opinion what's better in overall performance LG V10, LG G4 or Nexus P6? Also why are people impressed with you being a christian? that has nothing to do with your videos and I find that redundant. Thank you.
Amazing review as always. I love that you call a spade a spade and are constructive with the criticism and not gushing over the good parts. Enjoying your work thoroughly and ty for making the effort as always.
i just love to hear your opinion ... i feel like you cover each tiny aspect that the device may concern to anybody ... thank you pretty much and keep it up .. 👍
i'm really impressed with your reviews, +Erica Griffin. it's not just specs, which are very common from other tech review channels; but you also provide your straightforward opinions; advantages and disadvantages of the hardware based on actual usage.
Timothy shelsea... sell it asap.. I had this fone well taken care n didn't drop it even once in 1year.. every night it was switched off n switched on next morning 8.. still it was dead on me.. didn't boot up.. All waste of money.. then I got to know about mother board issue in V10.. check on internet..
Wow, this is easily the best technical review on this phone. Very objective with knowledgable subjective opinion, perfect. I especially liked your coverage of the HiFi DAC. This is why I bought this awesome phone and is a seriously under hyped feature.
Thanks for a great review of the V10. I've had mine for a month now and am very happy with it. I had originally planned to get a Note5 or iP6+, but stumbled onto this LG and was sold, once I researched it. I also received a a free extra battery, charging dock and sd car from LG as part of the deal. Thanks so much for doing a detailed review of the camera, as I've only used it in Auto mode and haven't tried the video yet. It was very helpful to watch you demo the features in the manual mode. I think I'll pass on the wireless charging back cover. Looking forward to your next review. Happy New Year to you and your family!!
I like tech, but most of the time, when I am watching reviews I feel that many reviewers (big fishes) are too "nice" with some companies.Erica is one real smart girl and her reviews are honest and accurate.Because of this review the v10 is on his way to my house.I hope till November the HTC 10 will arrive to.Thank you!
Great and complete review Erica! My V10 arrived 2 weeks ago and I love it. The camera is amazing and the DAC incredible, it drives my headphones DT 990 Pro 250 OHM with ease! The sistem is also very snappy. This phone is a beast! :)
I love my V10. There is no real weakness to it. It may not be the absolute best at everything (except audio) but I honestly feel it's close in just about every other measure combined with the fact it has just about every possible feature many of which no other top phone has(replacement battery, expanding memory, IR blaster) it was an easy decision choosing the V10 over other top end phones. It really is a notch above the others and is a great step for LG in the right direction.
LG truly have done a fantastic job with their flagship lineup this year. I love my G4 (running Nova Launcher) and I would highly recommend it or the V10 to almost anyone.
+darkbyte2005 Did you know there is a ZOOM dial on the left hand side of the screen? Yeah works better then two finger pinch to zoom. Oh yeah, I learned that on ANOTHER video. Tisk tisk.
Thank you so much for the detailed information. Have to say was looking forward to your review. Yours and MKBHD. Love the indepth review you guys give. Loving my LGV10.
That Tardis icon at the bottom left got my inner Whovian excited... Awesome review as always, Erica! Really well done! :) Also, can I ask for that wallpaper? It looks really sweet!
Appreciate the review mentioning the DAC. Funny thing is it seems that many lesser known Chinese makers have been including hi-fi dacs compared to here. Apparently, the native Chinese market places more importance on sound which is kinda odd because I think many people are like me and use their phone to listen to music more than just about anything. I agree with your criticism of LG over the implementation of the DAC and lack of default support for 3rd party apps. Thankfully, someone on XDA has created an app called "HiFi Everywhere" that forces the DAC to work with everything. It's free on Google Play store
Thanks for the review, Erica. As always, you have the most in-depth reviews on RUclips. It's too bad about the light bleed on the secondary display since it is a neat idea. Do you think it would have been feasible for LG to include an OLED display in conjunction with the primary IPS display?
I'm glad they didn't use OLED. We would be dealing with MASSIVE burn in very quickly with the display being on all the time and displaying static images.
jonah travisano I'm pretty in love with it. I mean yes it's huge for my small hands but I've mostly gotten used to it. Still wished it came in a "mini" 5.2 screen, but LG did a pretty good job with it. LG's customizations are great I just hate their skin and I still wish it was Marshmallow. No real slow downs or stutters though once in awhile there might be a moment of hesitation in certain apps. The build is solid and does not feel cheap. If you can handle the size of this thing this is the true LG flagship for 2015.
very good phone, just, for me, was the only phone when connected to my bluetooth in my car, the broken audio was horrible. received a replacement, and still did it. Had to return it.
I know this comment is pretty late but it's worth noting that you can always download the Bluelight Filter for free in the Google Playstore which will filter harsh blue light, useful for evening or night time use. I could be wrong here but maybe the red light would take away the over all brightness of the display outdoors?
Any word on the full Priv review? Was it delayed by the recent software update (Dec 1)? If I understand correctly, it addressed some of your first impression concerns. No review I've seen of the Priv so far takes the update into account.
I also noticed a little lag in Need For Speed, but only a tiny bit. If I close all other apps it runs fine. The only things about the "ticker screen" on top is that when playing games and listening to music you can't change the song. When it's off you can use the second screen to control the music. I also don't have as much light bleed as you do on the second screen. I also use a wallet case for my phone so when I close the flap the screen shuts off anyway. With my screen brightness at 53% and heavy gaming and RUclips use I can use it all day. It does charge extremely fast. I wish the SoC would've been at least an 810, I don't mind coming from the Optimus G Pro. I love this phone.
Because girls make alot mistakes in reviews about tech and cars, Cars and tech is not a plus in womens and period. See other videos in YT and you will know what i'm talking about.
+Samarain You still don't have any idea what my comment was about, so you're the one making the mistake here. "See other videos on YT..." Yeah buddy I've seen other videos on RUclips, still have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Erica didn't secretly build the UI for the phone, maybe you should lay off the crack.
I just wanna put it out there ,that I'm totally in agreement with her on this device... Had it 4 a short time on Tmobile network, and lemme say, it was and is a sweeeeeet phone - no doubt! love it. I shudda held on to it,but I sold it because of guess I wanted something a little smaller and compact. However, like this video suggests, it's awesome in the hand, durable as heck, runs smooth as butter, has a great camera, & just performs like a champ .. Plus, I LOVED the fact that I never saw any1 with this device- because most have iPhone, or Samsung. So people always asked what is that, and hey,I really like your phone. Lg ,you did a great job with this one of a kind flagship. thanks a million!!!
Best review I have seen of this device, though i cringed every time you whipped the back off, i'm always gentle with devices doing that! I am fairly happy with my LG G3 atm, but looking at the V10 for the future, when it gets within my price range (when it's a year old and any bugs are worked out lol)
i want to thank you +EricaGriffin for your review of the lg v10 i have had the lg g3 for the entire time its been available in the states and well its about time to go for an upgrade and i wanted something big. i really wanted the nexus 6p becuase of the size but i like the "double screen" on the v10 i could use that in a lot of crazy ways being that i only keep the stock rom on phones for a little more then one day hahaha
Great review, I especially liked your Yoshi voice :D So after seeing your display analysis, is there a way to get the colors more balanced via the stock software? Or must I use a custom (root) app along with some other customizations?
What is good in low light for a phone? I saw an S6 in low light and I thought it was horrendous. Not to compare a $2000 camera to a phone but an S6 at ISO 800 is worse than my camera at ISO 20,000... I haven't found a phone that is able to produce good images in low light because they quickly surpass their usable ISO limits and then aggressive as hell noise reduction further ruins things. If this is still the state of modern cellphone cameras then I'm happy I haven't upgraded my Note 3.
I really wanted to get this phone, but, I don't know, commenters positive comments on the Samsung S6 Edge Plus has pushed me into that direction. No lagging.....yet.
This phone is advertised as a 5.7 inch screen. (the screen is actually 5 3/8 inches) In that dimension they include the back, menu and home buttons. The first time I've seen this done. Very deceiving. I bought the phone and returned it to Verizon and they admitted they've had a lot of complaints about the screen size. I like a big phone. Granted, when you're watching a video those buttons go away and the phone uses it's full screen. For the few days I had it I found the fingerprint sensor to be worthless. I wanted this phone because it's one of the last with a removable batter and an sd card option. I guess the big phone I want just isn't out there. I'll stick with my Note 3 until something great comes along. Seriously thinking about try the iphone. I'll probably regret it. I had the very first iphone then went to android and never looked back. What's your thought Erica? I enjoy all of your videos!! Thanks, Mark
Thank you so much for your detailed review! I became a subscriber after watching thus review! I appreciate your approach, your knowledge, & your honesty. God bless you, your marriage, & your gifts & talents. Thanks again for making a difference!
LG really needs to come out with an alternative to Samsung's Note series S-Pen. I have been loving the recent LG devices(Camera!) but styluses added functionality always keeps me on Sammy. With Samsung now going into Some "iPhone fan worship" mode, I would really like to move onto LG when my Note 4 gives out.
keep your note 4 by getting the Note 5 it would be a downgrade.. if your willing to wait for the LG G5 or the Samsung Galaxy s7 in March or April.. if you can't wait than get the V10 it's the best phone out now
+nhs2008NC I totally agree. I've been wanting to upgrade from my note 4, but honestly the note 5 isn't cutting it for me and I can't live without an s-pen..
for less then 10 dollars on Amazon you can order a Yootech NFC and Wireless charging antenna / sticker. I bought one and it works great with the Samsung Worked charger.
design-wise, i personally prefer the LG G4, HTC One M9, Samsung S6 etc. metal/industrial-type devices so that plastic/polymer?, diamond-shaped textured backing does not float my boat; however, people seem to really into this phone, so the build quality must somehow mesh. really curious to see how the V10 stacks up w/ the forthcoming Samsung S7 tho.
+Erica Griffin I replaced a One+ One with the V10 and I love the phone. The audio quality out of headphones is great, the speaker is quiet as hell personally as well. happy i have a bluetooth speaker for group calls. the battery lasts me a really long time but I use auto brightness and really just text and check twitter from time to time. the number of pictures which aren't selfies looked fine for a phone camera for me. I have a Nikon if I wanted to take a real photograph.
Just recently bought this in 2020, still a well worth device and still competes in the midrange-entry level segment!
Great video - it's certainly an interesting phone even if some of the features are a bit gimmicky. Keep up the good work Erica!
Finally someone mentioned the hi-fi dac. Thank you!
Hey all, download my wallpaper here plus.google.com/+EricaGriffin/posts/LTxYd1qGuiT
+Erica Griffin Woman of God, very nice to see lots of Bible apps & related things open; such a blessing, so refreshing. May God continue to bless you and your husband, God bless you Erica! :)
+unlokia oh wow, she's a christian. How amazing. God bless you Erica! :))
+Erica Griffin why do you have 2 gallery apps on your home sceens? :p
+Erica Griffin hey, I love your reviews and I just wanted to ask you, in your opinion what's better in overall performance LG V10, LG G4 or Nexus P6?
Also why are people impressed with you being a christian? that has nothing to do with your videos and I find that redundant.
Thank you.
+friendly911 OS Did you mean repugnant?
I'm impressed with the grip control you were exhibiting in the opening moments of the video
I'm still using a LG G3...V10 might just be my next phone. Thanks for the review!
I love how you speak. It's crisp and clear, Easy to understand. Merry Christmas btw
Amazing review as always. I love that you call a spade a spade and are constructive with the criticism and not gushing over the good parts.
Enjoying your work thoroughly and ty for making the effort as always.
it flew in under the radar but i loved it so much i bought it and not one regret was had.
You are officially my go to on phone reviews.
I got my V10 about 2 weeks ago. Fingerprint sensor and everything else works flawlessly. Amazing phone..Highly recommended! Thanks for the vid Erica!
And you are definitely underrated among the other reviewers. I hope more people watch your reviews and realise your talent
i just love to hear your opinion ... i feel like you cover each tiny aspect that the device may concern to anybody ... thank you pretty much and keep it up .. 👍
You are one of the best tech reviewer i have ever came across till date. Looking forward to see more of your reviews
Great job. I've had mine for a few weeks and I don't miss the note 4 that I traded in. Fantastic phone
i'm really impressed with your reviews, +Erica Griffin. it's not just specs, which are very common from other tech review channels; but you also provide your straightforward opinions; advantages and disadvantages of the hardware based on actual usage.
Best LG V10 review out period. Great execution and charming.
I was a Samsung note user but with no sd and no removable back that was a deal breaker for me. I got the v-10 and love it.
This is my favorite phone currently. I actually traded in my Note 5 for the LG V10 and am very pleased.
+Timothy Shelsea I was thinking of getting the iPhone 6s plus but might actually get this instead coming from a galaxy s4. That is a massive upgrade.
getting mine today :-) this phone is too good to pass up
do still have a V10? if you do, is it still a good phone?
Timothy shelsea... sell it asap.. I had this fone well taken care n didn't drop it even once in 1year.. every night it was switched off n switched on next morning 8.. still it was dead on me.. didn't boot up.. All waste of money.. then I got to know about mother board issue in V10.. check on internet..
Thanks for the opportunity. Wish you good luck and best wishes..... May the lucky one win. Cheers & Beers
Great video once again Erica!
so at end of year and after reviewing all of these phones, which has become your go to phone?
WOW! Very impressed with her review. Thorough and detailed... and her take on this phone encouraged me to find one for myself.
Wow, this is easily the best technical review on this phone. Very objective with knowledgable subjective opinion, perfect. I especially liked your coverage of the HiFi DAC. This is why I bought this awesome phone and is a seriously under hyped feature.

about time Erica!! *starts watching review*

Do u still like your v10
LG truly have done a fantastic job with their flagship lineup this year. I love my G4 (running Nova Launcher) and I would highly recommend it or the V10 to almost anyone.
I love mine. Ive had the Note 2 & the OnePlus One and the V10 is by far the best I've had.
Great review Erica! I have this phone and I am loving it. 💜
+Erica Griffin absolutely a fantastic video review of the LGV10, with a plethora of detail and a great 4K and 1080p video sample.. Well Done Erica!!!!
Loving my LGV10.
a huge upgrade to the G4 which i have. V10 has to be hands down the phone of the year
I was debating between the symetium and the V10. your review sold me on the V10. thanks for an unbias and thorough review.
Now this is what I call in-depth. Loved it! :)
I'm watching this on a G3, and I'm really considering this phone. Love the camera features and the audiophile quality.
Good lord this is a quality review. Nice job.
Awesome reviews like always, I like your in depth reviews on devices!
That Tardis icon at the bottom left got my inner Whovian excited...
Awesome review as always, Erica! Really well done! :) Also, can I ask for that wallpaper? It looks really sweet!
Long but worth it, very detailed review, thanks!

this phone is everything the note 5 should've been. I want it .
Happy New Year Erica. Keep the excellent reviews coming.
Love the V10 and i'd love to buy it, just waiting for it to hit indonesia market.
what caught my eye really besides the beauty of the phone was 6:23 bible app :)
Excellent review, thanks a ton for taking the time to post this :)
Wow, this review is so deep, I can't handle it.
love watching your reviews some are a bit lengthy but this one was really nice good job
Just bought the G4. But I knew this was coming and it's gonna be great. I just couldn't wait for this to depreciate in price like I did with the G4.
When I see Erica, holding the phone it seems so big like when my daughter holds mine LG V10 so adorable lol! good review, great device.
My favourite phone of the year...yes favourite above the nexus 6p!! As always Cool review!!
A comprehensive review! Thanks!
Thank you Erica for this great review!
Nice job... Really enjoyed watching. I'm still really happy with my LG3 but maybe in a few months when the price comes down a bit.
+jonah travisano just be ready for the size difference if you do get it. It's a pretty beefy phone about the same dimensions as a Moto N6.
+Panzer_Z..Yea your right on that... Looks pretty big in the video.
jonah travisano as a point of reference my N5 fits completely within the screen glass of the V10 with about 1/4inch extra screen on the side
Ok thanks ...That does put it in perspective... So you have one... What do you think? Are you satisfied with it?
jonah travisano I'm pretty in love with it. I mean yes it's huge for my small hands but I've mostly gotten used to it. Still wished it came in a "mini" 5.2 screen, but LG did a pretty good job with it. LG's customizations are great I just hate their skin and I still wish it was Marshmallow. very good phone, just, for me, was the only phone when connected to my bluetooth in my car, the broken audio was horrible. received a replacement, and still did it. Had to return it.
Love your reviews Erica just bought this phone for $100 U.S unlocked
i like my v10...great vid erica
I know this comment is pretty late but it's worth noting that you can always download the Bluelight Filter for free in the Google Playstore which will filter harsh blue light, useful for evening or night time use. I could be wrong here but maybe the red light would take away the over all brightness of the display outdoors?
Very device I loved and I see that the camera is much better Nexus
Had S6 then G4 and now v10. Using it daily. I don't mind the size at all and the device itself feels very sturdy.
Good work on the camera department erica. Much details and many samples to get an impression.
Will you take a look at the lumia 950?
with what's out there always been a fan of the note series the v10 looks promising
Thank you for mentioning over sharpening and over exposure as well. I was called a fan boy for saying this when comparing to the 6P.
21:34 feliz navidad, feliz navidad. prospero año y felicidad...
ohhhh, found you again, lol you are great, im looking for a great phone, always checking out reviews, so, i believe in you :)

Look at 19:35 in the top right, it's the Pocketnow logo! Great video by the way Erica, as usual.
+Aeon Calcos It's a great mobile tech related RUclips channel. They've even interviewed Erica!
+Nathaniel Graham it's a girl, can't blame her... Girl talking about cars and tech simply sucks....
+Samarain What? I'm talking about an icon in the phone's UI. Not exactly sure what your ridiculous comment has to do with that.
Because girls make alot mistakes in reviews about tech and cars, Cars and tech is not a plus in womens and period. See other videos in YT and you will know what i'm talking about.
+Samarain You still don't have any idea what my comment was about, so you're the one making the mistake here. "See other videos on YT..." Erica Griffin thanks for doing such a thorough review :)

Best V10 review ive seen
i want to thank you +EricaGriffin for your review of the lg v10 i have had the lg g3 for the entire time its been available in the states and well its about time to go for an upgrade and i wanted something big. i really wanted the nexus 6p becuase of the size but i like the "double screen" on the v10 i could use that in a lot of crazy ways being that i only keep the stock rom on phones for a little more then one day hahaha

Another awesome review, very crispy video!
it looks huge in ur hands !
This will be my next phone...using a LG G3 dual sim now. Will wait until the price comes down next year
Great review, I especially liked your Yoshi voice :D

i really want one...but 700 bucks is a killer price point hopefully some deals will come after the holidays
great review as always. I have no issues with the finger print scanner with my case.
Thank you for big effort to make this wonderful video

LOVE IT WISH I HAD ONE THANKS FOR THE REVIEW !
for less then 10 dollars on Amazon you can order a Yootech NFC and Wireless charging antenna / sticker. I bought one and it works great with the Samsung Worked charger.
*Wireless charger*
+A.Lionel Maury nice workaround. might do that if I get this phone

i love this phone since they announced it. it
Removable battery and expandable storage is a must for me so I think I'm really sold on the V10 now. Or maybe I'll get the V20. Not sure yet....
when are you going to release the full nexus 6p review?
Soon
+Erica Griffin I replaced a One+ One with the V10 and I love the phone. The audio quality out of headphones is great, the speaker is quiet as hell personally as well. happy i have a bluetooth speaker for group calls. the battery lasts me a really long time but I use auto brightness and really just text and check twitter from time to time. the number of pictures which aren't selfies looked fine for a phone camera for me. I have a Nikon if I wanted to take a real photograph.
+Erica Griffin i'm looking forward to it :) thanks a lot!
+Erica Griffin thanks for the answer :) I take your opinions very seriously when I'm going to buy a smartphone

Had the same question. Nexus 6p or LG v10 ? For me size does not matter.
I am waiting for this phone forever
Hey Erica, great review! I just had one question: does the second screen still work if you install a third-party launcher? Thanks!
terrific, detailed review
