Thanks, This is the old school way of doing auto paint using an old school product Acrylic Lacquer. it is a lot more work than using a two pack paint however with Acrylic Lacquer you don't end up with the two pack issues as we all see on cars today with flaking off clear coats and so on.
Superb polishing , a perfect finish, puts me to shame when I give my car a hand polish and think I've done a good job. Maybe I should get one of those buffers. Thanks for sharing. Cheers

A Mechanical buff like the one I use in this video is the only way to refresh old paint or make a fair paint job look awesome and using a good buffing compound as well not a product that you would buy at your local auto accessories store but a product used in the industry from a auto paint supplier. When using a quality trade cream and a tool that's made to do the job, as you can see in this video one can dial up what ever finish you wish.

Never painted a car but I did work for a Honda dealer detailing used cars and then started my own business " squeaky clean" . Enjoyed making cars look good. But what skills you have built on to make old cars look new. Great job sir! 👏
It's a hobby of mine that has done very well over the years in car show with my cars. This Daimler coupe won the state title two years in a row in our largest car show here in this state and six years of runner up then it went into storage and was used as a work bench lol so it copped some damage kicking around for the last 10 years. But once I finish it all off it will be every bit as good as it was if not just that bit better.
