Carrie Bradshaw is an ICONIC TV Character because of Sarah Jessica Parker. She is indeed a TV Legend. She won the Emmy in the last season, so shame the music cut her speech in a brutal way!

I was one of those passers-by (how do you spell that?). She was truly lovely when I met her. A Class Act. i lived in NYC for 3 years and she was the nicest celebrity I bumped into and had a chance to say Hi to.
Francis Cignoli I'm not surprised, yet I am so happy to hear this. Sometimes you think one thing about a celebrity, but then it could blow up in your face. It's nice to know that she really IS a lovely woman... and you're so lucky to have met her! I'm kinda jealous, lol :D

I thought that was weird too -- it was the first (and only) time I've heard them announce the spouse's name in an award show.
This just proves that they should’ve just ended SATC at the series - all 4 women adored each other here and the movies ruined their relationships

They still worked together for the movies after this, so I guess she did dislike her but not to the point where they can't work together
@@bigmass4792 I'm sure that Kim got big paychecks for the movies, bigger ones than she was likely to get for any other films... enough so that she was able to swallow whatever bitterness she had about her SatC experiences.
I suspect that if SJP (who I like, don't get me wrong) hadn't basically put public pressure on her to do a third film, leaving the impression that if only Kim weren't intransigently holding out on making it, it would happen, she might not have ever publicly aired her grievances.

I think she's one of the greatest actresses. She has such a phenomenal range. She can do emotional and comedy and all else. She is charming and natural and lights up the screen.

Hearing the crowd send out a huge cheer, was such a huge thrill, when they read SJP’s name ! The other nominees were wonderful but SJP so deserved this wonderful award! What a riot she was with her speech & such a thrill to see her win! Her husband was so happy for her too, you could see! She is just so darn cute! Loved this series & hated to see it end!❤️Cleverly written, excellent plots & the acting by every single actor & actress on this series was extraordinary ! I so loved the outfits they wore even, noticing each & every single incredible outfit the characters wore, in the backdrop of the incredible & magical “NEW YORK CITY!” ❤️
SJP looked fashionably great here and the girls looked very happy
IMO she's not the greatest actress but nobody can deny that character is iconic and deserved the Emmy.

princepeterwolf Actually, princepeterwolf, she has won 2 Emmys for Sex & The City, Comedy Series as a producer in 2001 and the Lead Actress Comedy Series in 2004. Hope that clarifies it. BTW, in the show’s history, 6 seasons/6 years, Sex & The City has won 7 PT Emmys out of 54 Nominations.

She was an incredible actress & so deserved every award she was nominated for! She is so dearly loved as well ! What a fantastic series this was & so loved “SEX IN THE CITY” plus every actor & actress appearing on this extraordinary series, as well. Hard to believe Sarah didn’t win every single yr she was nominated, for her acting as the character Carrie Bradshaw, was absolutely phenomenal! She is an extraordinary actress!❤️💕❤️💕

Ahhhh remember when the Emmys were worth watching? When you've actually watched and heard of the shows nominated and that won lol. I never watched too much of Sex and The City but from what I saw Ms. Parker did a really good job.
Yes, because I remember September of last year, when nominated shows (including acting noms) that I watch included Ted Lasso, Abbott Elementary, Barry, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Succession, Better Call Saul, Ozark, Yellowjackets, SNL, A Black Lady Sketch Show, The White Lotus, Atlanta, The Flight Attendant, Insecure, & Impeachment: American Crime Story.
@@773SleepyHollow The only one of any of those I actually watch is Abbott Elementary. I'm sure all those shows are well made and definitely something critics love and praise but it's just not the same as the golden eras of television that people still love many decades later. Also all these award shows in this time are just too pretentious and back patting to be enjoyable to watch for people not in the Hollywood circle.

She didn’t have a prepared speech & I don’t believe she believed she would win so was obviously totally shocked, excited & happy she won! She thanked the whole cast multiple times & didn’t have a lot of time to thank everyone individually when the music started to come up, starting to drown out her speech. She started to get frantic & just ended up thanking all her coworkers that she worked with all together. She stated a few times, that she was just so afraid of forgetting someone’s name , so she thanked everyone she worked with a few times, afraid she would forget someone’s name & hurt their feelings! There were so many incredible actors & actresses on this series that it would have been impossible to read/remember all their names, before the music 🎵 played ending her thank-you speech. As it was, it sadly still almost drowned her out! This wS the last year of this series too.
